My clerk Brianna was incredible. Very helpful, efficient and courteous. I didn't see her when I walked up but she was calling to me in the lot. I didn't realize she was greeting me. That is pretty awesome and unlike any service experience I have every had since I lived down south, where the CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. went above and beyond to provide care to customer, me. Thank you Brianna, you were excellent and your energy is very welcoming. Great JOB!!! It's COVID TIME, I appreciate all workers who come to work to support the community at large. You are all hero's!

1st off 1 person working the counter early Saturday morning? I had a reservation & di online check in & still had a wait. 1 Person is not enough to service that place on a Saturday. The unit; in the age of COVID & all the "preventive things" U-Haul says they do, the truck in the cab was not clean & did not seem or smell anything like a sanitized unit in anyway. IIt was not a comfortable feeling. The front windshield was dirty & when I was faced with sun & headlights later in the the day THEY WERE A DISGRACE!! Could not see through the dirt & filth on the windshield. I have pictures to prove it. I still can not believe the filth of the cabin the COVID Age. The billing I got charged for gas when I filled to the point it was at when I picked it up. I have picture of gas needle at pickup & picture at drop off (same position, why was it not full? easier to figure out, No?) One more thing only open until 7:00PM? It is a Daily rental no? I was billed for another day which I think is unfair. A daily rental is 24 Hours. Closing at 7PM is an unfair time to close for returns. Great team and great GM- Storage facility and the Center are very clean and well maintained.

Truck bed had leftover debris. Interior cab had leftover dirty clothing and eyewear. Floors were dirty. The seats were smudged with dirty stains. The center console was dirty with food crumbs Inner windshields were smudged and not clear. Not major stuff but You asked. I had to clean it myself. I hate a dirty interior. I always carry my own cleaning supplies. I left the clothing in case last renter came looking for the items. Great, GREAT customer service though. To me THAT is so much more important. You don't find good CS very often anymore. The young ladies there are friendly, professional and efficient.

Pick good moving businesses. I paid On-Time movers to come to my location to move my stuff. However, when 9:30am came no one showed up. I called Marguita at 201-737-8055 about 20 times to find out information about the two I hired and I was sent straight to voicemail. I called U-Haul and they pretty much told me that “that wasn't their problem”. So, now I'm building a case with a lawyer and suing “On-time Movers” because they don't want to refund my money. On-time movers is a scamming business they make appointments and charge your card and when the day comes. They stand you up.

The associate that helped us was overwhelmed with people waiting there were 7 people in line she was trying to satisfy the customer in front of her helping other customers while that customer waited and the lines were too long and I waited over an hour to get the keys to my truck You haul is making Money with their profit They should invest in another associate to help out one associate on a Sunday morning is not enough

It was nice to see them cleaning the returns. The staff member kept pointing at dings on the truck and asking about them--they were existing and marked and clearly dirty/old, I didn't understand why he was pointing them out to us as we clearly were not responsibly for any of the damage.

I was lied to that there was no more trucks. I was sent all the way to Linden for another van that they didn't have. They made reservations for a damaged truck to be picked up at 11 pm that night. I was sent to Linden for no reason at all. A manager called them and asked why they did it when they never had any trucks to begin with. Then the manager was told that we can come back to their location they had a truck available. This set my day back an hour and a half. I really did not appreciate the customer service there. I was also chargered 55 dollars for 20 miles and 4 hrs. It took me only and hour and a half and I used at least half of the 20 miles and I do not see the difference on my charge. I was told money will be given back on my arrival back if the miles was less than 20. Overall I was not satisfied!

I will never use uhaul again. This was the worst moving experience I've had, and I've been moving back and forth from NY to Florida since 2012 and I've used uhaul previously. The booking began with an incompetent representative giving me incorrect information about Uhaul's ability to deliver my ubox directly to my address. It wasn't until the morning before my intended drop off that I received an email about my “self-delivery”. Upon an entire hour of conversing with the incompetent women at the Newark location (none of which knew where my box was although I received an email on August 17th stating it arrived) I called the uhaul hotline and a representative named Kathryn found my box & connected me to moving.com. There, they connected me to diamond quality And it was everything $ more!! Then, upon the box's arrival the key I had did not match the lock on the box. I saved the key and there was no way I accidentally or unknowingly switched the keys. Thankfully the screw on the box was loose and the movers opened it up to discover my things- at last! However, after Uhaul's site glitched twice I discovered I was charged three times for a total of almost one thousand dollars. Especially right now, this has been such a horrible experience and I will never use or recommend uhaul again. But diamond quality moving was 100% worth it because they went above & beyond to ensure my stuff was moved quickly & safely. There was a slight rip on my couch to which I'm unaware of it's origin but after everything else I don't even give a crap.

I was there to rent a small, open trailer to pull behind my car. The employee at the counter became extremely rude when I told her I did not have anyone they could call for a reference and that I would not be able to give her a phone number. I then waited a half an hour for the manager to arrive at the store. A woman walked in the store and went behind the counter with the original employee. After about 10 minutes I walked up to the counter and asked the original employee when the manager would be here. She then looked at me and said “this is the manager right here, she walked right by you!” In a condescending tone as she rolled her eyes. I then spoke to the manager. My issue is that I have basically no one that someone could call at that instant for a reference. The only family members I have are in a different time zone and we're all sleeping at the time. I was not going to wake them up for a stupid phone call. I certainly wasn't going to call my boss at work. Finally, I woke up a coworker who works the night shift with me So he could vouch for me. My main complaint is why U-Haul needs someone to be called for a reference when I reserved the trailer with a credit card that has a large line of credit. U-Haul could easily by five or six of those trailers with my card if I never returned with their trailer. I tried to explain to the employees that I have rented trailers in the past two years at different locations approximately three or four times. I was never asked for a personal reference. Only today at this location was I asked. Finally, I was given the clearance to take the trailer. The manager Instructed the original employee to meet me in the back to hook up my trailer. The employee then looked at me and rolled her eyes and said “oh! Just wonderful!” I then told the manager that I did not feel comfortable at all with that employee assisting me. Finally, the manager came outside and got me on my way. So far I have emailed and called U-Haul corporate three times. Each time I had contact with a different person. I told this story, including a few other details that are included, and they didn't seem to know what to do. I am still waiting for a callback from someone from corporate. So far, it has been a few days and no one has addressed this issue. I am going to have to rent a truck and a trailer in the next few months to make a move. I certainly will not use this location, and I will probably avoid U-Haul altogether. I have never gotten such rude customer service in my life. Ryder or Budget will get my business next time.

The facilities were great, new, and really clean. The only reason I rented here was because I needed 24 hour access. Well it’s currently 230am and I need to get into my unit and the woman at the front desk didn’t add the 24hour access into my account so now I’m our here in the cold and can’t get in! I called customer service and it can only be added in site. Well I need to be on a flight by 9am tomorrow and the office doesn’t open until 9am. You really screwed me!!!
