Limited space was availble

There needs to be an opening to the driveway at Wal-Mart. The location didn't fill the gas tank up - gave me an amount of credit towards filling it to 1/4 of a tank but due to the location and the inability to drive south on 146 I had to locate a gas station miles away.

Everything was fine.

After some confusion, the N. Smithfield agent pivoted quickly and made the situation better than expected. I had called earlier in the week and was told the unit was on the ground floor. I asked the person to verify three times because I was told prior it was on the second floor and only a 5x10 unit was available on the first floor. Upon arrival, we were correctly informed the unit was on the mezzanine up 10 steps. No good, especially considering we were storing an upright piano (500 lbs.) Next issue: I had ordered the 5x8 trailer from the N Smithfield location for expediency purposes, then it got unilaterally changed to Cumberland. This added an extra 90 minutes to/fro twice of waste. As you probably know, wasting time on a moving day is not a good thing. Thankfully the person at Cumberland and N. Smithfield were very kind, polite and professional. If they had been disasters, the rating would have been POOR mainly due to the jerking around of reservations and conveyance of inaccurate information leading to undue stress. However, the EXCELLENT onsite agents saved the rating and greatly reduced the stressful situation. U-Haul REALLY needs to get the people with COMMON SENSE and CUSTOMER ORIENTATION on the phone and within reservations. Eventually more and more customers will realize there are other options with equivalent or less induced stress. This type of silliness undermines the U-Haul trade mark. Ultimately the behavior will lead to a Hertz-like business collapse. The customer interface must be crisp on all fronts to be long term successful. Best regards.

Self checkout was a great feature but was unable to upload photo to complete transaction. Had to call customer service which was pleasant and very helpful but the hold time was extremely long

The customer service person was not terribly helpful or polite, the equipment dolly was in terrible shape and the overall cost was outrageous compared to rentals we've done with UHaul in the past.

Using the 24hr on line return process was extremely frustrating. Basically, the uhaul system wouldn't recognize/confirm my location while parked at the drop off sight. My phones 'location share' was on. I checked/tried numerous other settings but still didn't work. Thus I had to return to the drop off site in the morning when it opened. Wasted an hour of my time. All other aspects of the rental were fine

The two men at the store on Sunday were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient.

The drop off was fine, but I won't use UHaul again. They messed it up on the delivery side, and then charged me extra to have someone bring the furniture to me.

Every time I come into this location it's always clean and the staff is friendly.

Lower the mileage charge for pickup truck rentals.

The Uboxes were perfect for me in between closing on my house and buying the other. The price was really reasonable compared to other company's I had called. The service was great and I would highly recommend Uhaul Uboxes for your moving and storage needs.

With such a large house to pack up, these uHaul Uboxes were invaluable. The best decision I made for this move was getting 6 of them so that I could pack and move my things Into the Uboxes gradually. Moving day was so much easier because of U-Haul!

The woman who I spoke to on 12/1/2020 was patient, kind, and easy going. However, today, on 12/2/2020, when I returned the Uhaul (3 hours earlier than needed) the man who I dealt with was horrible. He was condescending, rude, and borderline disrespectful.. to the point where my significant other almost got involved. I work in customer service, and I can assure you this is NO way to treat a customer, a new one at that. After moving from everything I know to a new area, this was the last thing I needed. Never mind starting my morning at 7:15 am this way. I will never use this location again, and will never recommend this location to anyone.

I was pleased with the storage facility and how my personal belongings were stored and so easily accessible, with using ubox containers. The staff was super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful ! It all went well.

One of the first employees I spoke with was rude. I did not receive my online reservation for my 26footers rental at 12:30 that I was supposed to drop off at a different location. The employee told me I could not take it and gave me a number to call. I left and called that number and they tried sending me to New Bedford Mass. When I realized how far it was I called this location back and they told me I could take the 26footer only if I returned it to that location in the morning at 8:30am. I did not receive my uhaul until around 3-4pm. So I lost 4 hours of my day moving because of your employee failing to tell me at 12:30 that I could just take the uhaul if I returned it to the same location.......I have yet to receive my $50. I am very dissatisfied with this uhaul location.

Just remind the Move help service to unbolt the ubox before taking off.

Mike and other staff members there were extremely nice and courteous. One staff member even went above and beyond to quickly help me jump my car battery so I could start me car after returning the truck I rented. Thank you for a great experience! Please note that Mark Perry of RK Auto & Sales in Blackstone, MA was also very helpful, accommodating, and instrumental in helping me reserve the truck as well!

Great people for customer service on the phone and for pick and delivery. Flexible with our constantly changing schedule. Nothing was broken and everything in tact when we unpacked.

The staff and site are great but the truck we had was in desperate need of service. It ran aweful. We did let the technician know and saw him make a note. Reassuring.

The truck did what I needed it for but I thought the rates weren't explained that well. After a few days of use the mileage rate got very costly.

My experience with the UHaul staff has been excellent. They call to check on the status of our units and it is always easy, helpful, and a pleasure to speak with one of them!

Everything worked out great and the moving company in Philadelphia, Vintage Movers, was excellent!! They were so helpful and flexible and did a great job getting everything in my home safely, especially considering the rainy weather on the date of the move!

I'm sorry I forget the name of the gentleman who delivered and picked up the box from Rhode Island - he was super helpful, courteous, on time - just amazing. All phone communications were fantastic especially here in Florida when I got a message my box arrived a few days early so I called to see if it could be delivered early and it was delivered the next day, 4 days early. Delivery on this end was also fantastic - the woman who worked me into her day for early delivery - and again forget her name- super nice and helpful and she came to pick it up. I would recommend this method of moving to anyone! Of all my box contents - one broken item - an old bowl I knew I didn't pack correctly!!

The customer service was fantastic. I used to rent across the street at cubesmart and it was a nightmare. The people at uhaul go above and beyond and the facility is super clean, easily accessible and safe. When I need storage again, I will definitely be back.

The whole experience was friendly, detailed and informative...much better than Cube Smart who I switched from.

My wife and I found this facility to be very clean and well kept. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this facility.

My only criticism is a policy issue. Canceling monthly use of the 5x5 unit just days after it renewed doesn't result in a credit of unused time - charged for the whole month regardless of used time

The Uhaul team member was professional and courteous. He explained clearly how to use the storage facility and gave me directions for guiding my truck backwards to the entrance. Much appreciated.

I could not be happier. I stored my furniture and home goods for almost 2 years and had no problems whatsoever. The staff at are very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend U-Haul.

The only thing is the concrete walk inside to get to the units had some holes and in winter could do better with ice & snow removal.

15 min before closing, arrived at site, rented storage unit and emptied 15' truck. Guy at desk didn't flinch. Place is super clean and bright! What's bad is no lift to 2nd floor for heavy items.

Problem: someone tried to get in our space and broke a key in our lock. We couldn't get in. Had to use power tool to cut lock. No help from UHaul or compensation for broken lock.

Scheduled my reservation online and it turned out to be a nightmare. The guys that work at this location were very helpful and made my day. Couldn’t have asked for any better service.

We did last minute schedule. We were happy about north Smithfield. Not happy about Attleboro. They didn't answer phone.

I do have to recommend that the inside storage area be cooled by air conditioning. It is quite stuffy and warm.

While the service at the center was well the total experience of my move was not so well. This format does not support the comments of my total experience so it is sub par also.

This long distance move from South Florida was very stressful..I did it with 3 Uboxes Tom is the Absolute Best .. And his team of Michelle, Ricky and the front desk reps are above 5 stars..

Tom Sullivan and Michelle were a dream team come true. They made the moving and storage experience as smooth as anyone could have wished for.

Our delivery person, Michelle was excellent. She knew exactly where to place the boxes to make it as easy as possible to move the contents in and out of the boxes.

Michelle & Richard were amazing! They went above & beyond to place the u-boxes where we wanted them even though it wasn't the easiest location. The staff at the facility was great too!

During the shipping process, the lock on my Ubox was damaged and made the box impossible to open. An employee drove to my home to break it open immediately after I called. Excellent customer service.

Staff at both the U-Haul facilities and Michelle, who delivered and picked up the pods, were fantastic, and incredibly helpful. Flexible times, pod sizes, and all I needed to move at one stop.
