I am happy with U Haul but i do have one ? To ask about if we what to move over from the they unit we have now the 5 by 10 we would like to move from about 1 to a 10 by 10 if that's possible how ?

The rental process and equipment were fine. What I had a problem with was using the website for a self -return after-hours. There should be a quick tab prominently displayed on the Uhaul.com website specifically for self-returns. It took me longer to find the right place to enter my contract number than it did to complete the return. If I tried logging in with my name or phone number, the only thing that popped up was info for my storage unit. There was no link to my truck rental. I had to completely back out and log off to get back to where I could find the spot to enter my contract number. THAT took me right to the return process. It shouldn’t be that hard to find the right place to complete the process. A quick tab specifically for returns at the TOP of the page would definitely be helpful. And a link in the storage unit page should pop up automatically if there’s an open equipment rental contract. It would save a lot of confusion and frustration. As a current U-Haul employee I’m supposed to be recommending people do self-returns. I’d just like it to be a smoother process. Moving Is stressful enough.

Steven was amazing. He really went above and beyond for us and I definitely think he should get some appreciation for his level of service to customers. We were moving out of three storage units and had some difficulties with the entire process but he stepped in and made sure everything was as planned. I am rating uhaul a great score because of him. I have had poor experiences with uhaul but this experience trumped prior experiences. Great job Steven!

The location was great, and the people were super nice. Sadly, your system is not so great. The keys would not come out of the ignition without a great deal of wiggling, jiggling and fuss. Uhaul keys are NOT supposed to immitate Jello. When we tried to get some help, all we could find was the phone number to wherever the Uhaul call center is. We could not find a number for the local Uhaul place. As we were 3 blocks away, that was incredibly frustrating! The woman that we spoke to at the Uhaul call center was very nice, but she either could not give out the local Uhaul number, didn't know how to find the number for the local Uhaul center, or she flat out did not know what we were asking. It was hard to tell which one of those was true, and it was extremely frustrating. On a positive note, we ended up having to extend our use of the Uhaul. This was not a problem and it worked out very well. We just went to the local Uhaul center to do this. It just was not worth the hassle of dealing with the Uhaul call center (please make your call center run a bit better!). We put all of 18 miles on the Uhaul, so I cannot say if it would perform well on a long trip. It did exactly what we needed on this short trip.The key was always a hassle. Also the air conditioner did not work well. It blew lukewarm air at us, but no cool air. It is quite hot and we were working hard, so air conditioning would have been nice. Sadly, we had to go into the new apartment and turn on the a/c to get any relief from the heat.

I have used Uhaul before but I will NEVER use this company again. I rented a truck one way and it had a half tank of gas and when I took the truck back I made sure that it had half tank of gas, and the company is charging me $57.00 for gas when I only drove 54 miles, that is highway robbery. They must be hurting for money if they rob their customers this way. This is poor businessmanship. People beware of getting robbed of your hard earn money,

On the web site it had one quote, when I arrived at the site the price was higher. When I showed the associate the price on the site he could of cared less. Was told he was charging what his app stated., nothing he could do. Didn't even try. If I would of had the time or choice would not have gone with uhaul.

We were told when we picked up the truck and auto transport that we were not to touch the auto transport or the car on it until we were done with it. Why were we then charged an additional $10 to have the uhaul employees take my car off the transport at this location when we were told in Lansing that the employees would help us. This doesn’t make any sense

Forgive me for I have forgotten names. The first two people (a man and a woman) that we spoke with there were absolutely amazing. Very helpful and informative. The truck we wanted was ready when we needed it, clean, and surprisingly nice to drive for 4.5 hours. However, I can't give 5 stars because the lady that I spoke with over the phone when trying to return my truck was horrible. U-Haul had given me a return location at a company that no longer has U-Haul trucks. When I called the company to drop it off, they told me that they no longer work with U-Haul. I left the truck on 8/4/19 the night before it was due because I didn't have anyone who could pick me up if I tried to drop it off the next day. I took the keys with me and called Stillwater North the morning of 8/5/19 to figure out where the miscommunication came from. The lady who answered was rude, refused to listen to what I was saying, kept insisting that the drop off location in my contract was correct because she "spoke with the district manager." She also tried to threaten me with added fees for having to call a locksmith because I had not turned the keys in yet (2 hours before it was due). Overall, this seems to be a great location but whoever this lady is - I hope she no longer has access to work directly with customers.

Everything was great. Employee Steven is awesome! He offered water as soon as I walked in on that hot Oklahoma summer day. Also, I couldn't remember if I had locked my vehicle after picking up the van; I called the store and he double-checked it for me. Great service!

I really couldn't suggest any changes! Everything went smoothly, the features of the trailer were explained to me very well, and the equipment was in good condition. Particularly impressive was that all the required lighting on the trailer was fully functional. Often I see burned out or flickery sidemarker lamps, or see some segments in the LED turn/stop/tail lamps not lighting up, but everything was functional. Very nice!

The airport road location was very helpful however I'm very dissatisfied with the whole experience. I was supposed to return the trailer at the VIP storage location and got there and nobody was there called both phone numbers listed and failed to ever here back. I sat there for an hour with no response and then took the trailer to the airport location uhaul storage facility in Stillwater from there I also didn’t get my 19.95$ back for the day that I had previously paid for an extra day(8 days total) because they had to charge me a 19.95$ fee for returning it to the “wrong” location, Very disappointing that this is the way it was handled, wasted a lot of my day.

There was only one person working on a Saturday, and one of the busiest moving days of the year in Stillwater. When I arrived for my 10am pick-up, there were two customers ahead of me, waiting for their trucks, and no clerk. One customer had been there since 9:30. It took at least 20 more minutes for the clerk to come into the office. It seemed as if the computer kept having glitches or problems, customers could not get wi-fi in order to load their things. The check-in process took about 10-15 minutes. per customer, which seemed excessive, especially since we had all mostly reserved our trucks online or by phone previously and entered in the information that we had to convey to the clerk again. Overall, it was just very frustrating to all of the customers waiting, as we were all busy moving that day and had to wait roughly 45 minutes to get our pre-reserved trucks. When we dropped off the truck, there were two people at the office, so that went quickly and easily. The truck itself was well maintained, clean & comfortable.

We had to wait 5 minutes for her to come to the office (she was working on the back) but then it took 10 minutes to get the truck and leave. The guy in the evening was very nice and just took the key for us to leave.

If Thor had come down and created a moving truck it would have been the truck I rented. Twenty years ago I rented a truck from U-Haul that had a shitty radio that you couldn’t hear above the engine drone. Today the truck comes with aux cable capabilities and two 12 volt ports to charge your phone. The leather seats were harvested from the softest cattle free ranging omg the most delicious grass. The cabin was soundproofed to the point that no engine noise intruded on the glorious music that piped in via quality speakers. I never felt a “governor” on the throttle because I was able to maintain a solid 75-80 mph that demi-gods require when moving their vast kingdom. Rent the 26 foot truck. You will not be disappointed. My rental allowed more than enough mileage that I didn’t get charged.40 per mile over. Pro Tip: Always call the scheduler and find the closest place to drop off. Thor wants you to use your money wisely.

Move checked in vehicles forward due to lack of parking and other trucks hanging out into the street. Do a walk-around inspection check off with the customer. Do a print out of the services so customer can see individual charges .
