I'm so very frustrated with this company I could scream. I picked up a uhaul in keifer oklahoma. The man that did my contract messed up it was supposed to be a one way 80mile trip from there to Stillwater because that's where I was moving. I go to drop off in Stillwater and they want to charge me double for the uhaul because my contract was messed up at no fault of my own. I ask about the storage unit for one month free. They couldn't do that because the contract was messed up and it wasn't were I was supposed to be. I was told to call corporate and have them help. After sitting on hold for 45 minutes I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for her manager and was told no. Just after moving, from my original city, to another, my wallet was stolen, and after receiving new everything, I thought I had updated everything (multiple automatic billing dates). After initially moving forward, I never received my billing issue warning (automated email issues for nonpayment) until I was contacted by the GM Ian, over the matter. Initially feeling like an idiot, I was quickly relieved as Ian was brought up to date, and he assured me nothing would happen to my belongings (was in between paychecks and still struggling to catch up from deposits/move in fees, etc.). Ian made it easy for me to catch up from my previous month, and cover the month we were already well into. It's the people within the business that will make/break the business, and Ian is beyond making an easy future customer out of me. I believe the extra days charge at $40 and coverage at $28 was excessive when returned all equipment approx. 3 hrs past what you had us due back. Drop off location was a little tight to maneuver in but that's because the facility is under construction. Once the trailer was id, no problem with drop off. Staff was helpful & courteous.CHRISTOPHER D.
The only employee there was rude, inconsiderate, and extremely unhelpful. He refused to pull the truck around to the front and made me walk through the storage lot to go get the truck and then was rude and hateful again when I dropped off the truck. I was unable to do all of the app processes because the network area there is very weak. He refused to help me return the truck and close out my storage unit.Kathryn W.

A discount or refund on truck rental would of been nice. I appreciated the extra day not being charged however I'd prefer a discount on the truck rental and that is in no way drop off locations fault, I do blame the pick up location because they should have been checking there trucks. My chief complaint is that I paid for two months. 129.90. Well, was able to clear it all out after 3 weeks. So, I get it set up for a refund for the second month. Your emoloyee, who honestly, looks and kind of acts like a active meth user (issac ingram) set my refund up as check request instead of sending it back to my card. I had to borrow money from friends so I could buy groceries that the 64,95 refund was to buy. Being diabetic I dont get the choice of skipping meals and I really dont like having to ask my friends for money.SEAN T. | Expérience générale
The manager Ian Johnson was not a happy person. He was very clear his employee Don that gave me the truck was going to be disciplined. This is the weirdest location, you get check in at storage place then you have to drive down the road to pick up the truck. Storage place has zero places to park my car while I was gone for hours moving. I had no choice to drive down the road to leave my car and my Uhaul movers too for us to safely park our cars there and get the 20' box truck. I rented truck, appliance dolly and a storage unit. I'm here by myself and have been for months trying to relocate and buy a home in this aggressive market I'm beyond stressed. The storage unit i rented was a RV spot but the app said storage unit and they had none. While I was getting check in with Don with a long line of ppl behind me and he was the only one there. And now I'm calling around to find storage since i have a truck and movers and no where to take all my stuff....Don may have told me i had to bring this truck back to the storage place to check it in not the place down the street where my car was. This is a big truck and the storage place in not friendly to get in and out of in my car. I would not have been comfortable driving a 20' truck in that little bitty parking lot of maybe 4-5 spaces. So here's the problem Mr Johnson was pissed he had to take to foot to get up the hill and down the road. I offered him a ride and he said no uhaul employees have been abducted. I felt horrible he had to walk all that way & tried to apologize. I asked, if i dropped off the uhaul at the storage how was i going to get back to my car..he said I'd be the one walking - that's cruel after I spent 6 hours moving in 107 heat with a bad back. You need a better set up at this location and maybe post a sign. Or get a courtesy golf cart to haul people up and down the street. I'd be more concerned of someone getting run over than an abduction. Mr. Johnson was clearly irritated and made it clear that Don was going to pay for me not dropping off the truck at the right location. Don was a very kind pleasant person doing a great job with me and the line of ppl waiting to get taken care of early on a Friday morning. Mr. Johnson has a point too as I wouldn't want to be running up hill and down the road either and it was beyond hot. I hope Don didn't get in trouble. And you can get Mr. Johnson a better option to resolve the awkwardness of this location.Molly B.

The original equipment was not acceptable. When I drove it to the loading location and i opened up the back, I was overwhelmed with marijuana odor.. I called and complained and was asked to return to the pick up location and get another truck,,which I did. Replacement truck was acceptable.Tim M.
The truck rented made a very very high pitch squeal inside the cab at any speed above 50mph. I had to listen to that for 4hours, I had a migraine the whole time because of this. I would like a partial refund.Logan M.

The young man that was there when we picked it up was great. He was very overwhelmed (alone and busy) but he stayed professional and very personable. The guy that was there when we dropped it off was another story. My husband took a photo of the odometer when we picked it up from the satellite lot because it was off by a mile(no big deal) but the attendant all but called him a liar and was very disrespectful.carl M.

I had to go from ponca city to Stillwater to get the truck even though you guys were very accommodating on giving me more time and mileage was still very inconvenient. Had my reservation incorrect, and different that what I had saved on my phone. The employee refused to help with changing the errors on my reservation, I needed three days with the truck and the error had us with two days. The truck was not cleaned out and given to us with dirt all over inside the cab and trailor/bed. The ramp would not come in and out of its storage under the truck until we had to oil it up with WD40 at home. I asked him to fix my reservation and he refused and threated me with extra fees and fines if we weren't on time returning it. I explained we needed the extra time for packing, travel, unloading, he wouldnt fix it. VERY UNHAPPY with my experience. I will never rent from Uhaul ever again. Tell the customer what the fuel capacity of the truck is. I bucked a 20-30 mph north wind and used a lot of fuel. I was shocked at home much it fuel it took. I like mirrors, but you might add back-up cameras for those who don't.JAMES S.

Was less than a hour late retning rental. I had called and was told as long as we had back by 12 noon their would be NO CHARGE. Told by person working counter would need cc for rental charge. Explained we had already paid with cc. He said that the cc wasn't billed until it was returned. So I gave cc. He never told me he was charging for a full day. When I saw email with receipt for extra day charge I called Uhaul was told their was a note in the order not to charge for extra day as long as returned by Noon. We returned less than an hour late. LESS THAN AN HOUR. Was told the charges would be refunded for extra day. Never received receipt like I was told I would receive. Really disappointed. First of all the location of pickup changed and was never told. That slowed down our plans and caused the delay returning. Really disappointed in UHAUL!Anthony N.

I didn't understand the after hours drop off procedures, and they charged me an extra $20. I tried 3 times to reach someone by phone for help. Put on hold for 30 minutes each time, no help answered. Tried the 3rd time the next morning, waited another 20 minutes, only then to find out it was too late and my truck was already checked in and with an extra $20 fee.RALPH S.

It was very hard to locate anyone in the office. I stopped by 10 times and it said they were out on the property. The number they gave was ultimately sent you to a call center for Uhaul. If someone is renting a truck and a space from your company online, it should be able to pick up and recommend a storage size that can accommodate that truck. For example, I got the 10' truck for my daughters dorm and a 5x5 storage unit. The website should have told me that not everything in a 10' truck could hold everything in a 5x5. It would have been nice to have had a warning that popped up telling me that the storage unit I chose may not fit what can fill a 10' truck. I would have then gotten a larger one! Thankfully, by the power of God, I got everything to fit in there. But a warning would have been nice. Not everyone can see how big a 5x5 is until they are there. I ordered a lock online with my purchase and was unaware each locker already came with one. The employee at the front desk was rather lethargic and unenthusiastic to be there. Almost made me feel like I shouldn't be there. A lady out in the yard though was helpful and polite when I needed help finding the reserved locker.
