Michael BI was charged a second day rental fee for being 4 hours late (I thought a booked it for 24 hours, apparently I only booked 9). At the very least the second day charge should've been prorated. Ideally it would've been explained better. When a representative from the local store called me and explained that he was not going to do anything about the charge, I asked, "so it's just f*ck me?" to which he responded, "yes sir". 藍藍藍 Thankfully we have plenty of Budget Truck rental locations nearby as well. I get the message.

Lamar GSecurity issues prevail. Lack thereof of and cleanliness isn't first concern. Receptionist and President Kurkbride are best assets at this location. Rude manager, attempted theft to my unit and each to my right and left following an encounter with an unknown and random burglar/stranger walking the halls without any notice or of a concern when I notified after-hour answering service and no response was received or action taken to immediately remedy the security gate stuck in an upright position while 2 trucks remained, blocking driveway and the path of the gate. Arguing with customers is unprofessional, the exact opposite of what I expect in regards to Southern Manners and Mommas being proud of what their sons do. BLESS HER HEART: SHE'D BOX YOUR EARS IF SHE WERE WITNESS TO SUCH BLATANT DISRESPECT. LORD, BLESS HER HEART. Thank you Mr. KURKBRIDE for taking time to take my call. david nBooked the reservation online and the insurance was $22 however when I arrived to pickup the truck, the insurance charged was $30. The agent could not offer an explanation and I find this unacceptable that there was a difference in the charge.
Stephanie YI had reserved furniture pads and they didn't have any when I picked up the truck. If I had known ahead of time, I could have used another place. The furniture dolly was not in the truck and I had to return to pick it up.
Robyn GI originally reserved a 9:00am and this location cancelled my reservation, then sent me to another far location which cancelled my reservation as well. I finally contacted a representative and they told me this location had my reservation for a 12pm .... which was 3 hours later. So I had to wait 3 hours later to start moving even though I went up to the office face to face and reserved a uhual for 9am. It was a complete inconvenience.
JASMINE DI would recommend having a dolly in your trucks. I had to borrow one from someone. A ramp was not with the truck. The ramp would have been helpful when moving furniture. Torey was very nice and had a positive smilie attitude!

Amber JI scheduled a truck a week in advance and the day prior to my move, they said a truck was not available. Pissed, i scheduled a truck for the next weekend. Uhaul did not have my truck at the location I wanted close to home but they did on the other side of town. This was 10 miles away. When I was about to cancel, uhaul said they would bump the mileage rate from 79 cents to 59 cents. I agreed. Even though this new location cost me 20 miles back and forth to get the truck and 10 miles to get it back. I asked the clerk whether my new rate would be reflected. She lied and told me it would at checkout. When I brought the truck back, it was 79 cents a mile. The clerk was not happy i complained. She went out and parked the truck almost right in back of my private vehicle making it hard to pull out. When I complained, the clerk told me to take it up with the 800 number. Very rude.

Kayla AAfter paying all our fees, at the last minute my wife asked fir a gate clicker. They gave her one and said nothing. 4 days later I got a past due notice for 5 dollars along with a 15 dollar late fee. That is ridiculous. After this time, I will never do business with u haul again.

David CWas lucky to have found a 10' truck for a 4 hour rental at the last minute as I was driving to Tallahassee from Atlanta. I did the vast majority of the booking online. When I arrived at the location, the truck was waiting for me in front and was ready to go. The young lady who was working there (alone, I might add) was very funny and knew her stuff. She was happy that I had already done pretty much everything online so it was a quick transaction in the store and I was on the road. Truck has no power locks or windows but it had a working AC which was critical since it was 100 degrees outside. The 10' trucks don't have ramps so I got a decent leg workout in, but it is a very functional truck and we packed it front to back and bottom to top. All in all, a great rental for a great price at the last minute.

He did not know where our unit was, which gate to go through, didn't tell me about a lock, etc. The two ladies helping me in the 22nd seemed competent, BUT I was triple charged for the blankets and dolly we rented for the day. That was pretty horrible, especially since I'm still trying to contact them to resolve the issue. People moving certainly don't need extra tasks caused by lack of attention to detail or incompetency.

After over an hour the car was still there and I was waiting to move my stuff into the unit. The computer on your end showed it empty....had reserved it days in advance. Finally it got moved it. It was suppose to rain and I was unloading the truck myself. This put me in a panic since I did not want my things put in storage wet! Just curious how someone gets to park a car in a unit with no record in your system? I waited 1hr and 15 minutes in the hot sun for a my unit. Iwas very unsatisfied with my experience.

He was unaware there is a facility map on the wall, which we found when we came to ask about the lock. Again, he was polite, but not much help:-)

This makes me concerned about any liability between 16th and 24th. Other than that our U-Haul storage usage was a good experience and the location was well lit and easy to get in/out.

She gave us a map of the property and the available units and suggested we walk around to make our choice. Since we were also renting a 10' truck from U-Haul we were told we could return it there after unloading it and this would also qualify us to get a month's free rent on the unit. We walked the property and made our selection and reserve the exact unit and the price right then before we left the property. When we returned to move in, we were told the unit we had reserved (and had the paperwork as back up) not only wasn't available but the one that was available was considerably more each month. We were then also told we could not return the truck there. We asked if at the very least the price we reserved the unit for could be honored. That too was denied. We decided to cancel the reservation all together and find another location. We did. In that location they made good on all the promises made and did it with a smile and ease. So, I would love to say it was a great experience or even a good one. I can not say either of those things. It was unsatisfactory in the extreme. Regards, Cameron

Lora T | Expérience généraleIt is a very tight area, hard to move around in with a vehicle of any size and especially if you are carrying a trailer. It appears there are multiple businesses that are also running out of that facility so that makes it that more difficult to maneuver when you are trying to navigate in and around parked truck and trailers all throughout the property. We made a reservation well in advance and when we showed up from our 500 mile trip, there was not the size unit that we reserved available, I am certain this is a corporate issue and they don't care they are overbooking no matter what, it made things very stressful for a family moving from out of state. After a lot of phone calls with corporate and talking to multiple people that never helped at all, Thankfully we came to an alternative plan with the help of Torrey one of the managers (although inconvenient) we got 2 units on separate floors. We payed for "Climate control" for both our units, the climate control on the third floor was really only keeping the moisture out at best because it was crazy hot up there. Lastly, there was a business or rental office room on the first floor directly across from our elevator access that some young men always seemed to be in and out of throughout the day and night. The smell of weed coming from that place would just about knock a grown man down. A bad look for a professional storage provider. We appreciated the restroom facilities for the just in case emergencies, very grateful for them and the access in and out of the mechanical gate was very easy. Thanks Torrey for all your help, I know most of this isn't the best feedback but it's honest.

The traffic wasn't getting any quieter but she wasn't getting any louder. She was basically pretty rude.

Especially, during the pandemic. Third, during a time I had to purchase boxes, the credit machine was not working. So, my options were to pay cash or give the associate my credit card number, which I found inconvenient. Other than that, my overall experience was good.

So what did the front office do ,they gave one of my guys my new gate code so he was coming in and out as he pleased and they going to tell me I need to leave because he was coming in late at night when they gave him the code .which happens 2 be the 4 digit code for all of my important business. Including my home door lock. What a joke

LOLA B | Premières impressionsI am disappointed because when I called 1-800-go-uhaul, the rep informed me that I could get an air-conditioned unit for $139. I asked her to reserve it for me. Then, when I went to the actual facility to move my things in, I confirmed with the lady at the front desk that the storage unit assigned to me was air-conditioned, and she said yes. I then proceeded to my unit and moved my things in. I thought it felt too hot to be air-conditioned, so I went back to the front desk to ask the lady to double-check that my unit was air-conditioned. She said no it wasn't, and that I had to pay $169 for that. This directly contradicts what I was told over the phone and what she told me when I spoke with her initially. She did transfer me to an air-conditioned unit for $169, but now I have to go back and move my heavy things from the previous unit to an air-conditioned unit.
