The trailer was clean however the lights weren't working when we hooked it up to our truck and the employee who conducted the safety check stated it was working when he checked it out. Another u-haul employee in their garage came out to check out the situation and he quickly determined what was wrong and replaced the wiring.
RHONDA DI cannot speak for everyone but in my own personal experience, Kyle and his current staff have turned this place around where people want to come and rent from here now. I've shared this location with friends numerous times over the last 6 months.
LEONARD STrain the staff to be a little more people friendly. They act like they could care less if you're there and probably don't. Even if you couldn't care less about your patrons, they should at least pretend like you are a valued customer. I've rented from this location more than 6 times over the years. used to have good staff. Not any more. However the tall guy last Saturday evening that had the long beard was very nice. Everyone else, not. All too busy on their cell phones standing around.
Camron NThey gave me a truck that the engine light was on and said tow haul. The truck was shaky while driving. When I picked it up it was after hours and couldn't get another truck so I had no choice but take a chance driving it and moving my stuff. I think I should get some of my money back since I had to drive a truck that needed service and they still gave it to. A customer to drive it. This was the first time I had this problem with any Uhaul place . What you can do to improve for next customers is make sure your employers check the truck before putting it out for customers to use.

When he saw me get frustrated and express I really needed the truck I reserved, he Rudely and loudly told me to calm my ass down he was going to look for another truck! His name was Kameron C. I will never rent from this location again!
Stirling GWe reseved our truck the night before and then received a call that it had been booked previous so the rerouted us to a different location. then I received a call saying that truck was broken so we had to be re routed to a different location again. They were able to get us in a working truck by the time of our rental but it was confusing and frustrating to be rerouted so many times.

wayne jThe first truck I was offered had a malfunctioning gear shift. "D" on the shifter reversed the vehicle. The second truck I was given, after leaving I noticed how unsafe it was. Turn indicators did not provide feedback in the cab. No dash lights and no sound. It randomly would throw oil warnings, the parking brake stuck, and took me a few mins to get it to release. The seatbelt receiver had no shroud and was quite jagged. I broke skin (small cut on finger) scraping it on the buckle. Truck as insanely loud with in cab engine noise. Absolutely would never rent from this place again.

The guy checking me out was too busy texting on his phone to respond to my question. The U-Haul was dirty inside and out.

He advised the truck was "around the corner". I had to ask, what corner? Fuel was so low, it had a warning light on. Clerk who checked it back in later in the day was very helpful and on the ball.

Rick BI had an issue when I accidentally locked my wallet inside the truck, felt just brushed off. Even though I had already contacted customer service for after hours and it was docked on my account for the openers it still was missed causing more stress and worry. Was apologized to after the fact but could've been handled differently when I arrived when no one answered the lines and met with empathy rather than a closed ticket and sale.

Roy FCustomer service with my agent was good, not so much for the other customer there next to me. Customers do not want to feel rushed or as if they are bother. Also, the truck has some engine issues that probably need checked. Power was lacking and hard to get up to 40mph.

Kinam KWhen I arrived I was told that I needed to purchase an adapter for the trailer electrical connection. I do not recall seeing that item on the rental process. It is just a pain to not know clearly what is expected for the hookup.

Had I know that, I would not have returned the trailer until the next day and not worked so hard in trying to get back Sunday evening.

Then he told me to make sure I didn't bring it back until he was off work. So basically he wouldn't have to be bothered. Very very poor customer service. Haven't used Uhaul.in years and I see why.

Nicholas WMoving is stressful. The U-Haul website was not function when a sought help. The user interface for finding a facility that I could get immediate access to storage was even less helpful. When I accomplished the access the facility had not given the access promised delaying storing my things and returning the truck. It would be helpful if the type of storage was described more accurately perhaps with multiple levels of security available and location.

Charity P | Expérience généraleThe unit was clean. The facility was clean. It's two stories with no elevator, thin double door that don't prop open. For a price comparison, this unit was more expensive and a pain to get things in and out of. The ramps are steep and full of potholes. It was incredibly frustrating to move my things in and out. They would get knocked off by the swinging doors and fall from the incessant shaking from the pot holes on the steep ramps. When I lost my keys to my lock the members couldn't care less, were rude, and told me I was required to have a locksmith take the lock off. $125 to cut off a $15 lock. Ridiculous. They acted put out that I was asking about the process to remove the lock. All in all, the place is clean, but the service and amenities are awful in comparison to cheaper units.

dena w | Expérience généraleThis storage facility was acquired by U-haul. The storage space is smaller than advertised by up to a foot in a direction. The manager knows this, will argue to the contrary, go up and measure at an angle just to tell you there is nothing she can do and take it up with the regional manager. Regional manager was nice and the rest of the staff was nice. 24/7 access didn't always work. The public dollies are damaged but they are free for use. There is no elevator but the ramp worked as a nice alternative. The Uhaul truck I rented from them was damaged so make sure you take dispute photos prior to taking it off the lot.

There was this face-masked fellow walking toward my wife and my direction during after-hours whenever we were moving stuff in there. I stared him to turn back the other way around. An alarm scared the both of us after 3 am. Other than those, we got the job done. Oops! I almost forgot about the key return. I think I was not told about that, even though there were stickers all over the front stating so.

Employees did not have satisfactory tools to work with and the toolbox was a mess. They also did not have a dolly for boxes. They only had appliance and furniture dolls and did not remove the furniture dolly from my reservation after I told them I did not need it. However, as a disabled veteran the Okc location was able to get me a storage on the first floor. It was a mixed and frustrating experience but they worked with me. The blond lady at NW Expressway demanded I folded the blankets or I would be charged. I need to charge U-Haul for helping to fix the tow dolly and I do not work for less than $35 and hour. That was a total bs move on her behalf!!!

Gary E | Expérience généraleThe extra star came because it had available units and boxes for sell; otherwise, It would've been one star. 1st off, I go to the store to pickup the 10x10 conditioned unit I reserved online. The manager argues with me the unit I reserved is non-conditioned. Then after some debate she rereads the paperwork to see I was right. 2nd I had purchased a lock with the reservation. She then argues I did not and charges me for a lock. I had to call later and inquire later in why I got charged for two locks and a separate employee had to refund me the money. 3rd the 10x10 unit measures a couple inches short of 9 ft one way and ~6 inches short of 10 ft the other way. I called 3 times on separate days to get an answer why and if I could get an actual 10x10 or reduced rate for the loss in square feet. I was told by the employees they would have to talk to the manager and call me back. I never received a call back. I then had to show up in person for the manager to argue with me again that it measures 10 ft by 10 ft. We go up and measure and sure enough the unit measured in short. Even as I watched the manager measure at angles to make it longer and measure the grate of the wall too. She then says to bad and says take it or move out. She can not provide me a deal and said take it up with corporate because it's over her head. 4th because the unit is smaller than expected, I had to reserve another unit. I called and they said they had none available but then was able to reserve one with corporate. I showed up and they had availability.

I could never get through to the actual site and would have to drive up there to address anything.
