I had a New credit card sent to me, but it did not get updated on my automatic withdrawal. So I was charged two separate times for this. That did not seem right to me.

The pick up location in Ocala was changed from 2 min from my house to 20 minutes and was terrible. First issue was when I clicked on address provided in confirmation text it took me to a dangerous neighborhood (I did not feel safe and was worried for my mother and myself), NOT the U-Haul location. I then manually searched the location on internet and eventually figured out where to go (40 min later). Next issue is the vehicle was never rinsed or washed after last use so the windshield was covered in bugs so bad I couldn't see through it. I told the woman working counter and asked for a hose to rinse. The woman's reply was “use the windshield wipers.” The wipers just smeared the dead bugs and still couldn't see, the woman then realized she had to drive around back to rinse off. Next, I am given a truck with 1/2 tank of gas. Well I am not sure how much gas my trip is going to need so naturally I fill it up. $80 to fill 1/2 tank of gas. I only ended up using 1/4. So I paid $40 of unnecessary gas. The truck should have been filled and then I simply replaced the used gas. Lastly, due to all the listed above I spent $40+ unnecessarily. It added 1,5 hours to trip and a lot more driving. I was stressed from being lost and 1,5 hours late, upset about having to stop and get gas and paying mire money then needed. I have moved many times using U-Haul, this was by far my worst experience. I would not recommend that Ocala U-Haul location to an enemy never the less a friend.

Amanda is a professional and a great representative for U-Haul and dealing with her directly is a very positive experience. She's 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Management and you should keep her if you can.

I had to drive to another location to pay and I had to move in with no employees around to inquire so I couldn't locate any dolly or fork lift to help pull up boxes to my reserved container but satisfied to finally get a place for my things to be stored safely just weird location to get to and get all up there

Rented both a drive-up mini-storage and RV storage spot. Checkin was quick and was given a map of the access/exit points. Mini-storage was very clean with a fresh rodent poison trap. Rv spot was easy to parallel park the rig. Was difficult to first find the entry to the facility. GPS was confusing. Second time in was just fine knowing what streets to take. All in all very pleased.

I did feel that $80 a month for a little 10/10 was pricey. But overall this facility is terrific.

The Uhaul agent at this location did not assign the equipment to me and when I showed up for a 24/7 pick up I could not access the lock box. I had no choice to stay over night. I was not given the $50 guarantee refund and was denied a requested refund for a hotel stay forced upon me.

There was a leaking pipe in my unit causing bugs to invade what I had in storage good thing everything I had was packed in a bin or I would have been irate about that unit 007 don't rent unless you have no other choice

I was given a 5x5x10 unit when I told the lady I had a 3 bedroom house to move and it wasn't even 10ft long it was 10ft high i could have probable put a suitcase in that unit and I moved in on Saturday night so showing up with a trailer full of stuff and it was pouring rain so my stuff stayed on a trailer getting ruined because I had no storage and couldn't call to get one until Monday and then i call Monday and they have nothing available I feel like someone should have shown me the unit or explained it's size atleast I also received a free month because I used uhaul within the passed year and they wouldn't even transfer my promotion to the ubox container ended up having to get which no one told me was even an option. I'll never use uhaul for storage again terrible experience

Make sure when someone reserves a vehicle that there is one available to rent. I had to cancel & change plans when I went in at 9 am to pick up my rental pick-up truck, & there was not one available. I had to cancel everything until the next day. Don't reserve a vehicle on the premise that it will be returned on time by the previous renter. Was not a happy camper. Besides that, the truck was dirty. On the good side, the truck was fairly new & in good condition.

We love this location but lately it's been very difficult to get any trucks from them because of some merger with another store. Please bring back the trucks to this location!

We were very satisfied with the unit and the price. It was spotless and temperature controlled. It was easy to access the unit when needed. They have carts assigned to each area to make it easy to take things in and out. Every person was friendly and helpful. We were not experienced with storage units so we appreciated their help, expertise and prompt service. Merci!

Would never recommend. Took a reservation , confirmed it in writing then when we arrived with the moving truck plus staff behind us there as not a storage unit available. They acknowledged the reservation but told us that this was a normal procedure, the call center double books and there is nothing they can do about it. All the person at the storage could say was" I can do nothing, we do not have a conditioned space available"

I'm short & I'm almost 70 years old! And when I went to get the truck that we had rented it became evident that I was going to have a major issue climbing up into the cab to drive the truck. One of the young ladies at this location actually lent me a little step stool to use to get in and out of the truck! Excellent customer service!

Parking was a bit rough up front (all of the spots were taken, we're guessing by those who rented a truck and left their personal vehicles at the location), but otherwise all went smoothly. The associates were kind and quick to get us in and out.

From the time arriving in the state/city the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant. They made a nightmare of an experience into a pleasant one in a heartbeat. While I was disappointed that the size unitI originally requested on line a month ago was not available, I was able to get a unit - a little larger (so more $) that I was planning on. The girl that helped me was very helpful and nice. She answered all my questions and it took very little time to complete the transaction.

The units that I originally ordered online were not available upon arrival. Thank goodness there was one unit left that I was able to cram all of my stuff in, but I'm not happy about it. It is what it is, but if that unit would not have been there, I would have been desperate to find somewhere to go. Not a good feeling after moving 2 days in the pouring rain. Poor planning on uhaul's part.
