This facility is not convenient for people who have a whole house to store. We had to get our heaviest items into the unit that was the furthest away!! It was a hassle!

I needed to extend my time by an hour and had to wait a half hour to get through to customer service, they weren't able to help me and told me it might just be better to keep it overnight because I'd be charged for another day. Not being able to call the local office for a quick question will stop me from using Uhaul in the future.

It was kind of a hassle to return the trailer, I signed in like it said to but it wouldn't let me do it online, so I had to download the app, and even that wasn't super user-friendly. Customer service was great though.

The trailer I ordered became unavailable the day before I was scheduled to pick it up so I was forced to upgrade to the next size up. I saw a few trailers of the size I ordered when I pulled up so I was a little skeptical when they told me that nobody in the area had any trailers. I was also scheduled to drop off my trailer at 7:00AM. I showed up at 6:55AM and was told by one of the employees outside that I could just drop it off right then. I was charged an after hours charge for doing without ever being informed that would happen. Just overall kind of frustrating. I like the service uhaul provides but I don't think I would use this location again.

We got about 3 hours into our 13 hour trip and we had to pull over because the tire on the trailer about blew on us. Also after the first 2 hours the air conditioning went out and we had to go through the Mojave desert in the middle of a heat wave with absolutely no AC. We got the tire fixed but the 2 hour wait for the repair guy to get to the shop just to work on the AC for 2 hours resulted in nothing. We had to stay in Las Vegas for a night that was a non expected stay because of the 6 hour delay in our trip.

I used the 24/7 Uhaul service and it exceeded my expectations. Using my phone to schedule, pick up and drop off my vehicle was so easy and time efficient. I did briefly speak to a uhaul representative at my pickup location. He made sure my pick up process was going smoothly and asked if I needed help. Incredible experience!

I did not know how this facility was set up prior to reserving storage units. It is an indoor facility where everything had to be put on carts and wheeled to your units from the moving truck. We had a 26 foot truck FULL of 27 years of our household items. While trying to cart not only small items but big heavy items we are having to move around other people doing the same thing. In the past, we have always been able to pull right up to our unit and unload directly from moving truck. Also, first thing that same morning I received an email that said one of our units were canceled, but no phone call. I had to call Uhaul two times in order to get answers. Apparently they did not have the size I reserved available and canceled it. I feel they could have called me as I was panicked since I had my entire house I needed to store. I WILL NOT be using this storage facility again.

The truck worked like crap. It also had low tires, which probably affected the gas mileage. Finally, the tank wasn't full, but the app said it was. So; I put more gas that it had at the beginning, but I still had to pay for the full price of the rental.

So I was given a "cheat sheet" that showed how many gallons of gas I needed to put in to get the tank back to where it was when I took delivery. I started pumping gas and before it hits the "goal", it shuts off. I filled the damn tank. I put in more than $25 than was required. I told them at check in and they said sorry, nothing we can do. So don't use the cheat sheet or you'll give a billion dollar company free gas that they won't refund you. Pretty disappointed.

I had reserved a larger truck 11 days prior to my needed day. Uhaul didn't do a good job of informing me they changed the pickup location. All they did was send a confirmation text with a new address. However since the new address was in the same town I didn't notice it wasn't the location I reserved the truck at. Had they made reference to a change there never would have been an issue. As it was I had to make due with a smaller truck and therefore had to leave things behind.

The truck I rented only had a half tank of fuel. I reported that to the store associate on duty. Apparently they did not document the issue, and i was charged 130 dollars for fuel. Your team dropped the ball on this one.

The truck was very dirty. Needs to be wiped down. Also key didn't turn well. They told me upon returning that's not normal or good. Very hard during my moving. Not worth what I had to spend to get my moving done.

Great ratings from me but we were almost unhappy customers. Initially, the lights connection was not working between my truck and the trailer. I was told I could not rent the trailer and their guy was off that day that could troubleshoot. I had to contact 3 trailer places but they were too busy. I came back to cancel but Michael (I believe) wanted to take a look. Long story short he only pressed the connection harder together and the lights worked. I was so grateful for Michael and sorry I was 2 hrs late because Initially the obvious action was not taken to confirm the lights did actually work.

I was not happy. I rented a truck and wanted to redeem my free month of storage that you get with a truck rental but the associate said that I had to get the truck from their location specifically in order to do that. I got the truck from somewhere local and expected to be able to have a free month of storage. When I called and talked to an associate nothing was mentioned about having to get the truck from a specific location and nothing was mentioned on the website. It was very inconvenient to have to dish out another 90$ for a storage unit after paying already for a truck.

I was charged $20 for after-hours drop-off, even though the vehicle was early by 9 hours. It was due back Aug 2nd at 11 am, and I dropped it off on Aug1st at 8 pm. That charge is complete and utter bullshit, in my opinion.

In what has been one big mess of a move, U-Haul is the company that was able to get me a truck and a in a pinch, a trailer in the last hours and was very, very flexible when I realized my storage needs were greater than I had originally planned. U-Haul has been a bright star and they have earned my loyalty as a customer.

The location is immaculately clean, the air conditioner is amazing and does an excellent job at climate control. The staff is always helpful and professional. The manager knows what she is doing and is amazing. My only complaint is that for a facility that is supposed to have 24 hr access to a unit I'm paying for, U-Haul wants to charge me additional fees to have actual 24 hr access. That seems like a con. The QR code posted to get more information about 24 hr access leads to a dead web link. The office hours are posted. The facility "open hours" are not posted. I only found out what the facility hours were after having to call the security company to get access to the building because my access card wasn't working after I got locked out mid move and was unable to at least lock up my unit. I'd have to wait 7 hrs to be able to get back in. Some customers work odd hours, and can only do their moving at night. And with our current heat wave, it's actually preferable. If I start moving things in and out during "open hours", I can be locked out of my unit and the building in the middle of my move the moment I walk out the door to put something in my car after 10:01 pm. Or set off alarms while inside the building and have the police called because I can't turn it off by just swiping my card. That's an awkward situation that doesn't need to happen. As long as I have my access card or code, there should be no restrictions on me accessing my unit for the full 24 hrs like ANY OTHER storage company. The building doesn't "close" right when the office closes. While I appreciate those "extended access hours", Restricting those hours of access doesn't make a lot of sense, especially with all the cameras and the heavy duty security system already in place. Wanting to charge extra for that access, without offering the ability to even choose to pay for that option online outside of office hours like what is already available when starting a unit rental contract on the U-Haul website, seems like poor planning. Making that option possible will save existing customers a lot of headaches.

My overall experience was great. My only suggestion is that when you move out and don't have time to go to the office to close out your unit, to leave your storage door open so they know you have checked out and it is vacant. I had two. One with a swinging door and the other with a roll up door. I pulled the roller door down when I vacated. Even though the locks were removed they only checked me out of the unit with the swinging door. That one closed out flawlessly. The other, they didn't easily see it so I had to call and go into the office to ensure that it was closed out. Had I left the door open I'm sure it would have been like the other unit. They sent me a text to ask if I moved out, which I responded yes, and emailed me a close out receipt. The other they didn't do it was clear that they did not know. Outside of that, a great experience.

I had a fantastic experience with this location when I brought my items in from out of town. We're moving to the area and our place wasn't ready yet, so I needed a storage unit for a while. Sierra was polite and professional, and took great care of me, despite being very obviously busy.

Wish I could have gotten a larger unit but oh well. Great staff. A few times I was loading unloading by myself but there was not a courtesy cart to be found anywhere!? Unfortunate but it be like that sometimes. Overall great place in my experience. Not much I'd change (I can't think of anything rn) maybe making sure the outside loading area is free of the massive amount of bird poop that it was covered in. The floors were really smooth so that was nice too.

I was unsure about reputable storage facilities in the area. U-haul is a name I trust. We rented a truck and two units for our recent move. Everything was clean, orderly, predictable, friendly, and convenient. Well done U-haul.

The poor rating is no reflection on the employees at the Odgen facility. It is because of Uhaul's policies & procedures. I already tried to resolve these issues at corporate level. I would like to thank the staff at the Odgen facility for helping me load my Uhaul when my moving help didn't show up. The people at the counter were always helpful and courteous. My rating is because of this: I do have 2 issues with Uhaul and why I would not ever rent from them again. I was discouraged when I rented my storage shed & told that I would be getting a military discount after the first month then it wasn't honored. I called corporate and they backed up the store manager after you state that you support our military. Doesn't seem that way to me. Also, to pay for a truck for 4 days and have it back in less than 24 hrs & receive no kind of refund for the unused days is messed up. Uhaul is going to immediately re-rent that truck out and make even more money off of it. I can see being charged for the actual number of days you have it + a one way fee. When you put in the destination, Uhaul determined the number of days for the rental. I did not.

I was a customer of this facility since it was built like 10 years ago and was one of the first customers back when Dahne was the manager. Never had any issues until a couple of months ago dealing with sierra. From the get go she was rude and unfair. The uhaul facility is awesome but that manager there is trash.

I was not clear on where my room was, or how to check in. I asked a girl at the front desk, who though helpful, was very quick to point out how "easy things were" and "most people dont have to ask". Ultimately, I was able to access my room, and after reading a sign board, understand how the keypad system worked. Im very happy with the facility overall, and am glad I chose this location for my things.

My only reason for not recommending to a friend is that the area of Ogden can get a little strange, I am a single female, often I would be uncomfortable walking to my unit if there were folks gathered outside around the garbage cans and such. I also think it would be great if there was a way to latch the door from the inside while you are in your unit, I understand that you don't want it locked from the inside, but while I was in The storage unit for whatever reason I was nervous. The staff is incredible, and it is very clean, the area is just sketchy at times.

i honestly couldn’t have moved out fast enough. i was treated so poorly by the staff. i called when i moved out & they didn’t record it in the system properly, so i was charged for another month. the overall experience was unpleasant & i will not recommend this place.

I had my unit locked out when payment had been made and so it was frustrating. I wish thee hour to access units were extended. There were a few times I needed to get in my storage and I couldnt cause I needed a blue key to unlock. Then I got a notice about a past due when I had gave notice i was no longer needing unit.

Yesterday Which was the 26th. I was supposed to rent a $19,95 truck. My nephew just asked of we could return somewhere in Salt Lake. Then she proceeded to be very rude and said no im not letting you drop it back off somewhere else. He Was just asking. Then I asked how much it would be and she told me. I didn't have that much on my card and I so I took out cash and she very ignorantly told us I told her twice we didnt take cash. So she said have a nice day. But her demeanor was very hostile and rude my nephew said I was going to pay with my card and have me give him my cash. It was the manager on 32nd and Wall. We went somewhere else to get a truck. and all all I was there for is to clean out my storage shed

They tell you can that you can access your storage till 10 but really it's till 5 then the qr code for extended hours doesn't work and when you try to call the general manager she'll just ignore your calls till she blocks you and when you let her know you're going to file a complaint she'll evict you even if you just paid rent 5 days ago and she won't give you a refund but she will put a past due payment lock on your unit even though it's up to date worse experience I've ever had and I'll be sure to let everyone I know about how awful it was and how poorly Sierra Kennedy does her job

long lines, long wait and my access card doesn't work most of the time. but otherwise it's a lot cheaper than near storage unit facilities. Over all no issues so far!

I am so grateful for the help from the manager at the Ogden facility on Wall avenue! She helped me transfer my storage unit to a bigger unit and that was an enormous stress for me. I was preparing myself to weed through and get rid of items to make it all fit. She freed me of a major headache! Merci.
