Employees need to be trained in how to manage and handle their equipment. An employee that was bringing the trailer to my vehicle lost control of it and it rammed into the tailgate of my truck, leaving me with a serious dent/scratch and the damage now needs to be repaired. I asked the team there how this gets resolved and was given a business card of the general manager. I reached out to that person today, and they were unaware of the situation (the team on site didnt advise the manager of the situation!). So far, handling this incident has not gone well, and I truly hope that repairs are made without much involvement from me.
Patrick WI reserved a dolly, but none were available at 9am, so instead of being able to move 3 boxes at a time, I had to do one box and couldn't move heavier stuff, so I wasn't able to finish my move and will have to return to rent again when I would have finished with a dolly. So not having a $7 dolly means I'll pay another $100 for a rental. I'm not happy about that. Also, very busy location with not a lot of staff, long wait time as a result. Not the staff who was their fault, they can only do one person at a time, but more staff is needed.

They had me checked in in a minute and I received my receipt by e-mail while I was on my way home. Overall, a very easy process.

Clark HI reserved an appliance dolly online, only to be told at the pickup location that they don't have dollys. No notifications about it in advance, only got there to pick up the truck to find that I wasn't going to have all the tools I needed. I should note I booked the truck at one location and was told after the fact via a phone call (after it said online that it was available) that I had to pickup at a different location (about 20 minutes out of the way). Overall not a great experience. Totally understand that stuff happens, but clearly the website is out of sync with reality.
Josh GShowed up and got different equipment than reserved. The truck that was given to me was dirty and smelled of smoke.
Maxwell MThe truck's suspension was not in great condition. The driver's door was messed up and was being impeded by damage to the front quarter panel. It made a horrible noise every time it was opened. It often looked like it wasn't closed all the way.

Ben SThe lady on the register did not seem like she enjoyed her job at all, maybe a bad day I don't know. It made me feel really uncomfortable. My truck started overheating and when we looked under the hood there was no coolant at all. Completely empty I was grateful it was an easy fix but I had to buy it. Roadside did say they would reimburse me so that was nice. I used this location before and it was great I don't know what happened.

Marlin WCross train your employees so there's not 5 people waiting in line for over a half an hour. Someone can help out. Like the way Quick Trip's employees can all do everyone else's job. Improve the parking situation. Horrible parking lot.

larry zTruck was left dirty with trash in the cab from the last person who rented the truck. The truck didn't have a furniture dolly or moving pads in the truck. I had to call to make sure they checked my truck in so I wouldn't be charged for another day. When I called to verify at 3pm my truck had been moved but not checked in. I dropped it off at 9 am on the dot. I've always used U-Haul for my moving experiences. But I'm reconsidering next time.
NICHOLAS AI've rented from this particular U-haul facility approximately 10 different times over the last 30 years. Each time has been the same, the equipment is there ready to go, and it has performed well each time. No issues to report. Pleasant people to deal with and excellent service.

Nafis TIf you don't want your items to get wet, cover everything in plastic. Very disappointed that we rented a cargo trailer and it leaked! I would understand if a few items were damp but not dripping with water. Boxes were destroyed made it hard to unload items.

Darell BThe first U-Haul they gave us had a radiator light on and then when we returned it, they gave us another U-Haul, and this one had a wheel light on the general manager at this location was very rude from the very beginning. Also the second U-Haul that we ended up just taking had a bald front right tire, the alignment was terrible. It veered to the right, and shook so bad you couldn't even see out of the mirrors. It was dirty with cigarette ashes and dog hair. The lock on the back did not work just seem like they overall did not care and did not maintain their equipment.

Very sad and terrible experience and i have talked to others that had similar experiences, just sad!

When the lady finally came out I approached the counter and let her know that I was there to complete my reservation for a storage unit and to drop off my truck. She very rudely told me she did t have any of the units that I reserved, when I asked about the available units she continued to be rude. I calmly asked her to stop being so rude and that she should treat her customers as if she were the GM, not the way she was treating me. She then told me that if I didn't change my attitude, ( which I didn't even have, tho I am very close to showing up and having one after yesterday) she would refuse my service and send me elsewhere. I was baffled that she would act this way. Serious retracing needs to happen

ADAM E | Expérience généraleUhaul forces you to book online, I tried to call the toll free # and was on hold for greater than 40 minutes and then had to give up due to an appointment. I did not get the truck I ordered or the pick up location that I requested. That was rectified when I had to call, but was given a local number. On truck pick up, I was informed that they did not have the furniture dolly that I reserved. I reserved a 10x15 storage unit. When I arrived to unload, I was told that a unit of that size had not been available for months. I was frustrated because I was forced to order online an nothing I ordered was actually available. I questioned the person helping me and it was obvious that she could have cared less about my frustration. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told they were unavailable. I asked when they would be available and told they did know. I asked when I could call and was told the manager was on vacation. I asked when they would return and told by the extremely unhelpful employee that they didn't know when the manager would be back from vacation. Really? To top things off, the 10x10 unit that I had to use, was very dirty. The floor was dirty and there were cobwebs throughout. I wish I had bought a broom. I did not expect it to be spotless, but I expected debris to be sweep out. Overall, I did not get services ordered or expected. It was a bad experience and the apathetic employee was ridiculous. It will be along time before I use Uhaul again. Customer service matters and I felt misled. My frustrations could also have been lessened with better communication.

The keypad would not except my code. The office did not answer using on the call button on the key pad. I tried phoning ling the office, got put on hold & never did get a human being. Finally a lady came out to move a truck. I leaned on my horn to get her attention. She was angry! I was too since I'd been trapped for 10-15 minutes behind your fence. She yelled at me to enter my code to which I responded I had done that (several times). She stomped over & pushed some buttons. Finally, I was free! This is not my first rental from this facility. My son says I should have gotten a card to the gate. He has one from when he rented las Sept. Overall, this was not a good start to my latest rental.

The first person couldn't help me so I waited 20 minutes or more. Bailey then helped me get a unit within a few minutes. I ended up having to leave the place with all my stuff loaded in my trunk and drove around with a stuffed trunk all day. My experience at U-Haul was EXCELLENT, but I wish there were a way to remotely open and close the door outside of office hours for someone who got their card de-magnetized/stolen/lost.
