Lindsey (pretty sure that's right), the manager, was very pleasant and helpful. So was the guy who hooked up the trailer for me. The motorcycle trailer I rented worked very well. Price was great. I have already recommended U-haul to a couple of friends.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Engine light came on after half a day. I took it in and exchanged for another. Both vehicles clean and ran well (until the problem). Je les recommanderais sans hésiter.

Can't recall her name, but young lady at customer service is excellent. Helped me on several occasions. When purchasing moving supplies, returning unused supplies, reserving storage, and obtaining storage; always excellent attention to service. She is a top notch employee.

The truck was awful. The loading ramp didn't work. The drivers seat belt was non operational. The truck transmission was terrible. They took off the truck daily fee. I don't think that was enough considering we did the entire move without having a ramp that was functional.

When I got to the facility there was no record of the reservation I had made. The room size I wanted was not available. Had to get a bigger room than needed. Person who showed us to the locker was not wearing a mask. Otherwise, facility was very neat and clean. Locker looks like we were the first one to use it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I am particularly pleased with the convenient location and accessibility. The Sign Up Staf person was pleasant,helpful, courteous and professional.

I had to rent a total of 3 times for my move and each time the person handling my reserviation and delivery was kind, and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure each time. One person even showed me the various "free" boxes from people who donated some when I said I couldn't afford to purchase any more boxes. Now that's customer service !!

everyone was extremely helpful to me. I had at the end misplaced the keys into a box and they helped ease my panic. I h ad rented a pick up for the move and it was raining and they changed it to a van for me. I will definately use this place again.

Very big and nice service center with a lot of moving, packing and transportation products for sale. The customer service was very helpful, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend the Uhaul Moving and Storage of Pekin, Illinois!

We rented a U-Haul expecting 11 miles out of it we went 16 miles so we had to pay an extra 60 $10 $a mile and then also put gas in it I just absolutely think that's ridiculous Not to mention it already cost us 100 $to rent it Tracy Padgett

Everything worked out great; however, I had difficulty logging on and checking the truck in after hours. Although I was using UHaul's WiFi and had my location services turned on my telephone, the system would error my submissions and indicate I could not be located. I spent about 45 minutes on the lot trying to get the process to work. Besides that apparent technical glitch, my experience with UHaul of Pekin, IL was outstanding. It was a very smooth process and the representatives were terrific.

When Isaiah contacted me regarding the rental by phone he actually huffed at me not once but twice during the phone call. When I returned it his butt did not move from that chair at all! Didn't get up to look at equipment had to call his boss twice. I have a storage unit at that facility but will be moving it this week! Not a good look Pekin Uhaul! Poor CUSTOMER SERVICE

Rented a trailer that hadn't been swept out. We needed to do it before we could put our stuff in it.

the brake lights and driver's side turn indicator did not work on the trailer. There was no other trailer for me to use at the facility. So I had to use the illegal trailer for my move. These common malfunctions should be checked prior to sales to a customer.

*1st time customer at the new store. *The drivers door on the truck would only latch completely if you slammed it 3-4 times. *Also the employee on duty at 9 AM on 5/24/20 told me to walk across the entire massive parking lot to “find“ the truck with my number. He told me to then drive the truck back down to the front doors and he would then load the appliance dolly I reserved. I was confused by this as I was the only customer at the store. I feel this was not good customer service in the least. I was there alone and a 58 year old female. Why in the world was I or any customer walking that ridiculous distance while he stood outside and watched me?

Reservation through drop-off was a great experience. The reservation process online was especially easy. I was able to go in multiple times to make changes to the reservation- that was great to be able to do that on my own so easily!

My experience was very dissatisfying. I rented a 10' truck and appliance dolly online and reserved it with a credit card. I went thru the process of early online check in so that i could go and pick everything up without having to make contact with anyone inside by using the online check-in and pickup option in the morning. When it was time to pick up the online no contact option was not working as i tried it for 10 min in the parking lot before going in. I went inside and waited for half an hour with only one customer ahead of me. Then i find out that i do not have an appliance dollie because the last one was given away to the customer in front of me who had just asked on the spot and did not have one reserved even though i had reserved one the day before. The suggested fix? Well you can rent one somewhere else! Thats pretty professional right? No offer to discount something for the mistake and inconvenience ...just rent it somewhere else. So i lost almost an hour at your store and then didnt leave with what i had reserved and needed. If I didnt already have people waiting at my home for the truck I would have cancelled the whole thing right then and there and gone somewhere else. My first experience renting a uhaul instead of using personal pick up trucks and not sure i will ever use them in the future after this experience. I give it one star because at least the truck was working and clean. Customer experience and service is a ZERO. Thanks uhaul for making a stressful day more stressful and less efficient.

No improvements, but just wanted to say how helpful the attendant was in making my experience smooth and quick. I had pre-registered for the pick-up, so I was in and out in under 15 minutes... and that's including the attendant attaching the trailer and explaining what I needed to do if disconnecting the trailer. Overall, a great experience! I will be renting from this location again when I need a trailer. Very easy and affordable.

When I needed a storage unit. I didn't know where to go. Then I saw that U-haul had opened this new facility in Pekin. I was extremely impressed with their storage rooms, the price, the ease and convenience of going in and out whenever I needed to drop off or pick up items. I absolutely loved the garage doors that automatically opened and you can pull inside to load and unload! That was wonderful! The bathroom area and the area with the complimentary carts to use always looked and smelled clean. It was well lit and easy to enter and exit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you very much!

I love my storage unit. It's so handy! I'm happy that there are restrooms, if needed, carts to load and unload provided for free, the place is clean, well-lit, and I love the pull-in garage for privacy and for cold weather! I love this facility and will refer friends. Thank you! Julie Oberle
