Judy K.My vehicle had the low oil light come on about 20 miles into use. The following day the low air in tire warning came on after the vehicle had been parked for 24 hours. The online checkin process didn't work and kept giving us errors. There was a long line for help. after 15 minutes we were helped by a friendly person, but the online process should be improved. When we returned the van we had issues with the online return process as well. An associate offered to help but then made us wait while he checked that the all the lights on the vehicle were working which seemed really strange. We had to test the signals, hazards and head and brake lights for him. The last time we rented and used the online process it was much smoother and we didn't have to do a complete equipment check upon returning the vehicle.

The hitch screw was very hard to turn a little grease would help like for other parts too. Like the tube were the documents are it wasn't possible to turn it.

Yesterday I went to the facility to get access to the storage space but was told by the girl at the counter that there were no 10x15's available and that the website booked too many reservations for the amount of spaces of that size available. Not my problem but the clerks didn't care. I tried to reason with the manager but she was very rude and obnoxious to me and didn't care that I was unhappy or dissatisfied. I had no choice but to accept a 10x10 space instead which worked out fine. I moved in today but there were a couple of other groups moving in to theirs also but there are only four carts/dollies available. Not nearly enough for the total number of spaces available. If that's not enough, the floor plan diagram on the wall indicates two elevators side by side and an adjacent restroom but there is only one elevator and no restroom because it is actually a storage space. UHAUL YOU NEED A SECOND ELEVATOR IN THIS HUGE FACILITY! This facility is new, very clean and plenty of storage spaces but crappy, unprofessional and unfriendly customer service staff and insufficient amenities made this a very unpleasant experience.

RICHARD S.The staff was super friendly, however the truck was delivered with brake and engine problems along with the gas tank completely on empty. I barely made it into a gas station. This is not acceptable. Then we get gave me a discount and I was supposed to pay $65 because I sent it back with gas and they never gave me a hand truck I had rented, but the charge that came through was over $100. I am not pleased at all.

They tried to send us over 45 minutes away for a 26 ft truck, then they offered a 15 ft at our requested location. Through a wrench in our plans completely. We will be avoiding uhaul at all costs and spreading the word.

Don't tell a customer that now they have to move using a 10 U-Haul instead of the 15 that they reserved 10 mins before the customer is going to pick up their U-Haul. Don't tell a customer that they are overbooked.. Terrible customer service. Not the first I've had trouble with this location.

I can see charging for >20mi and making folks fill up on gas but you shouldn't advertise a $40 truck rental and then have it be $80 to go 21 miles.

APRIL B.Made a reservation for 24 hours, Friday 4:30 PM to 4:30PM on Saturday. During the pick up the lady stated I can only have until 10:30PM but extended it to 8:30AM the next morning. Received a call at 6AM about return time, again at 8:20AM and then 10:30AM. Ended up returning the truck at noon. The truck exhaust was leaking which caused the fumes to build up in the back of the truck. Luckily we didn't have a long way to go.

Eliud R.Elecia was friendly, fast and efficient at the paperwork side of things, and knowledgeable on available services and products. Probably the fastest and easiest trip I've had to a uhaul, and I will definitely be using this location in the future. As a note to the corporate side of this comment section, I would recommend evaluating Her for a pay increase - people who take their work seriously and develop knowledge pertinent to their position will become increasingly difficult to retain in the coming economic environment, and Elecia would be a good target for another Customer service industry to poach. For the mechanical maintenance side of this comment section: the power steering on the truck i rented is probably due for a tune-up sometime soon, as the steering had a lot of slack before the hydraulics started turning the wheel, even on the highway. Definitely a manageable amount for persons familiar with bigger vehicles, but for someone renting a box truck for the first time it might mess with their heads a little and lead to a fender bender on tighter turns or at intersections if they fail to compensate for the lack of responsiveness in the steering. There is too much traffic on weekends and that space is needed for loading and unloading. Staff are very helpful at this facility.

MARIBEL V. | Online Move InMy only issue was I needed it on Sunday and emphasized to the attendant how important it was that I only had one day of helpers to help me move the stuff in but when we got there they had forgotten to remove their lock from the storage unit and the place was closed. So I had to pay a crew to come out again the next day and bring my belongings. But it's a nice storage unit,the price is reasonable and it's very clean. It's too soon to give a rating better than average. I guess it's an honest mistake but I did say it was very important I move in Sunday- the day I rented it.

madan kumar n. | Premières impressionsIn July I rented RV Space 175, which was a 12 x 42 ft. RV space. Shortly there after I was transferred to Florida and had to check out of that space. After arriving in Florida my company canceled the relocation due to COVID and I quickly realized that I needed to contact the U-Haul location and reserve a space. I called and asked to speak with Tim or Mike so that I could explain my situation, but was told that the representative would send Tim an email with my contact number and proceeded to create a reservation for a 42 ft spot. My reservation number was 924074-00106151 and when my wife arrived yesterday the person at the counter said that my reservation could not be found, and there were no 42ft spaces available. My wife then was told that 37 ft space or there was nothing that they could help her with. My wife paid the fee and was told that there were zero gate fobs. I am beside myself as I have ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD CUSTOMER and I have no idea what went wrong. Merci.

Colleen M. | Premières impressionsI have used UHaul before for RV storage. I have made my reservation in advance and my spot was held for me. Imagine my surprise when I walk in, on the day I am suppose to drop off my RV to find that I to be told that my reservation has been cancelled (turns out they only cancelled inside storage ones) but that my spot had not been held. This meant I needed to pick a new spot. This is a challenge for a mom who now has to back in an RV with her 3 children guiding her. Looking at and selecting a spot took 45 minutes, while actually getting in the spot took another 45 minutes. (This is in addition to my original stop to meet with the manager to select a spot when I made my first reservation.) If you are not going to maintain site selection, please notify customers of that in advance. In the past I used to make my reservations months in advance and my site would be held. This time it was not. Please do people the courtesy of informing them in advance if that is going to be the case.

I was able to call and had great customer service to get set up for auto-pay, and also have that fee reimbursed. Overall turned out fine, just the appearance of the page looked like auto-pay was set up with my card on file and it wasn't.
