The person at the counter was very rude and confrontational. When he saw my car parked next to where other customers parked he said that he would tow my car if I didn’t move it. Correct me if I’m wrong, how can you tow your customers car that is giving you business? I have never been treated by people like that and this will be the last time I will ever rent Uhaul again. Let me mention that I been a loyal Uhaul customers for over 20 years. Bye bye Uhaul

Planning a move I've visited this location 2 or 3 times in the past few weeks. For the final move into a U-Box for the cross country transport, Cora was effective and in-charge getting things set-up for us. Then when we were running late for our 3rd and final drop-off into the U-Box the team was gracious enough get us access although it was nearing closing time - great effort.

Employees were very customer service oriented very friendly. The only complaint I have is I was getting charge for 60 miles of travel because the mileage on my contract was incorrect and me as a customer is assuming that all the information is correct. I went a total of approximately 7 miles it was being charge for 60+ miles. The employee worked with me but I still end up paying $118 when it should’ve been less than the estimated $63 so I was very disappointed that I almost paid double what it should’ve been because the information on the contract was incorrect and I had no way of proving it. I will be very hesitant to use the service again if I do I would have to be a better consumer and double check everything because the information being supplied by your company on contracts is incorrect. I have shared my experience on my Facebook and Twitter accounts to warn others to double check contract before leaving because information supplied isn’t correct and your company doesn’t have to supply back up that what is on contract is correct. I wanted to see last contract for the truck I rented to verify mileage.

I requested a truck with 7' of clearance inside the box. The truck I received advertised 7'2" but the actual measurement inside was about 6'2"(15' truck). When ordering the truck, I confirmed my need for 7' of clearance with the operator, she confirmed the 15' truck had 7'2" inside the box. I was VERY disappointed! We had to lay items on their side instead of upright. The dimensions on your website and the info your operators have is wrong or deceiving. Please fix your information.

My experience was a nightmare. I rented the equipment at another store, but they overbooked. I had to try to book at this location, but when you call, you get a national call line, who can't confirm whether they have trucks available. Oh, and I paid extra for the mileage to get back and forth from a place way out of my way.

Better customer service. I went to turn in my van. I pulled in and a truck pulled in behind me. The employee went right to the driver of the 2nd vehicle. I went inside to return my keys and was told the returns are outside I went back outside and the employee was still checking in the truck that was behind the van that I was returning. After 10 minutes of listening to the employee and customer socializing, I just left the key in the car and went home. The employee never even acknowledged me even though my van was the 1st in line.

I rented 17' truck from this location. I was told that there would be 3/8 gas in the tank. But I found only 1/4 to be available. Since I was in a hurry, I took a picture of the dashboard and didn't look into the text message. On calling the rental store, learnt that I would have to upload the image before leaving the location itself. I would appreciate if u-haul has a better way to rectify this kind of customer mistakes.

No one was at the counter when I arrived and there were also other customers waiting ahead of me. I waited at least 7 minutes before someone came to the counter, and he came in from outside with another customer. We could hear conversations coming from the back area (behind a door), but it took too long for someone to wait on the customers. Always a disappointment to use this location. The one good location NEVER has the needed vehicle.

I registered for quick pick up and waited in line for over 30 minutes the person that was checking me out kept having problems and seemed like he was spacing off and it took another 45 minutes to check out then the blinker lights would not work on trailer and it took another 30 minutes for them to check me out for a van Cora was good at giving me a discount but it took going back in 3 times and asking several people to get THE RIGHT KEYS I had to load the appliance dolly myself multiple other customers were helped and checked out in front of me including those without a reservation. I have had problems with this one before takeoff no forever to get checked out despite having completed everything online. I only went back because they were the only ones with a trailer and ended up with a van with no ramp my resercvation was @ 2 pm I left @ 430

SYDNEY NEEDS A PROMOTION! MAD LOVE FOR THIS UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE. NOT TO MENTION I WALKED IN 5 MIN BEFORE YOU CLOSED. SHE WAS HELPING HER FINAL CUSTOMER THEN RECEIVED A 10 MIN PHONE CALL FROM A NEEDY CUSTOMER SHE CALMLY VALIDATED THIS CALLERS CONCERNS REPEATEDLY IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER WITH PATIENCE. THEN TURNED TO ME AND STILL WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HER SCOPE OF DUTIES EAGER TO MEET MY NEEDS AS WELL. HER CO WORKER A GENTLEMAN WAS NOT VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED ME EVEN THOUGH HE FINISHED WITH HIS LAST CUSTOMER BEFORE SYDNEY DID. HE REPEATEDLY COMMENTED ON THE TIME AND HE WANTED TO CLOSE AND GO HOME. Furthermore I did return the following morning to provide the items needed to complete my rental and Cora assisted me. Mind you it was early and I am very bubbly Cora was not so bubbly quite yet but she appreciated my energy and quickly and efficiently found the right vehicle since my truck bed was uncovered and she noted it was raining. I even added a pair of work gloves and she was eager to see if she could modify the order to add it rather than ask me to pay again. She commented on how she loves to learn new ways of doing things. It is very clear that Sydney and Cora totally love their jobs at this store and I promise you they will leave the same impression if not better on future customers. They will go above and beyond to serve each individual customers needs whether its before or after their scheduled shift and both demonstrate the ability to make this a career not just a paycheck. For starters get rid of the GM. He doesn’t return phone calls after calling and leaving a message four different times and refuses to fix or acknowledge the problem with the rental contact that was made with a non profit organization. When I arrived for my reservation there was not a truck available for me even though the reservation was made a week ahead. After getting a run around for an hour they finally found a truck but didn’t do a proper turn in before checking back out due to being in a hurry. This is what caused the issue.

This place needs a new manager. Brian doesn’t care about doing things right or making sure the customer has a good experience. An hour wait to get a truck. Only one person at the desk. Multiple errors on truck info that I was charged for even after it was brought to their attention. Had to go in person for a refund. Ridiculous way to run a business.

Andrea is not a nice person; a times there are circumstances that are out of the customer’s control. In those situations customers should not be accused, be-rated or threaten. If it is uhaul’s policy to have her talk to customers the way she talked to me, it is a bad policy that needs to change.

I have used this facility twice over the last two weeks and found my experience to be wonderful! The service was exceptional. My issue is not with this alternate location my reservation that I had 3 weeks prior to move was changed 2 days before the move causing me to stress and scramble to find equipment that I needed and a semi-close location. Also storage place you recommend on the website (Orchard Express) does not honor your free month rental and they did not have my confirmed reservation when I went to site to confirm it. Like I said all the last minute changes were not good it was the worst move ever due to all the changes.

Make sure battery is charged. It died. We waited an hour and a half in the heat for some one to jump us. Roadside took forever to respond and it said minutes for someone to help and that was after waiting on hold 1/2 hour and them responding an hour later. Horrible.

The team at UHAUL Rainer Ave in Renton, WA was exceptional. They salvaged a really bad experience and made up for the extremely poor customer service I received at the 3131NE 4th ST, Renton, WA site that I had experienced earlier that day.

Receipt was not provided when we returned the truck so we thought that the charge from the contract will be the same when the supervisor said we are good to go.....We were surprised when we received the receipt from my e-mail that we were charged way more!

We were sent an email confirmation that our u box would arrive between 7am and 11 am and scheduled our moving help according to this. When the h box did not arrive by 11 am we were informed that we should have been told it would arrive between 7am and 5 pm. We had to reschedule the movers and it was extremely stressful and more expensive. The employees are nice but the system is a mess. I want s refund on my delivery charge.

I left my car overnight, and made it clear that was my intention to the staff when I picked up the truck. I knew i would need help getting my car on the transport. The staff failed to mention that nearly every car that stays over night gets broken into. I was robbed and then promptly told that there's a sign, that says temp parking only. And there is, about 20 ft away on a small sign. The team who checked me out didn't ensure I had a dolly, so I didn't have it, and in the morning when I discovered my car had been broken into, i asked again and everyone lost track of getting a dolly because of a blown fuse in the truck preventing the transport from having lights. It's okay to forget about a dolly. It sucked, but it's okay. It's *not* okay to forget that your location is apparently in an EXTREMELY high crime area. There are people who have literally set up camps in the woods behind your facility and will wait to break in. The team I worked with on Friday morning was WELL aware and knew the people in the woods would try to steal anything that wasn't nailed down.

The corporate store is great. I'm a repeat customer. However, the online reservation system is garbage. The website showed a trailer was available at a specific location. Made reservation for same day. Went to location. It was not in stock!! Gave up on the run-around and went to the corporate store which had it in stock. Of course it was Saturday morning, which I'm told is the busiest time of the week.

The two U-haul people I dealt with were very polite and professional even after the person before me was waiting for his rental, and the person with his rental was going to be four hours late since she didn't read the contract. Even after dealing with that situation, the man I dealt with (I'm didn't get his name) was kind enough to let me bring my trailer back Sunday morning instead of having to drive it back Saturday afternoon after moving all day. That was SUPER nice and appreciated!! :) The gal that helped me in the yard was great as well, and the guy that hooked up the trailer knew what he was doing since I watched him to make sure it was hooked up correctly since I am responsible for that ultimately. This location is really busy and they have to make due with the space they have available, but it seemed like it could be a little better organized as far as what is stored where and how accessible it is to the consumer in regard to hooking up the trailer with too much other stuff in the way. The trailer worked fine and the tires were in almost new condition and the right pressue, but the door needed lubricant and was really sticky and hard to open and close. Other than that, this was a great experience, and I would rent from them again.

Recommend padlocks for the van doors when picking up for longer use (overnight or longer). Otherwise, my experience with the Rainier Ave/Renton facility and it's staff was wonderful! I can say without a doubt this was my best experience in over 30 years of renting from U-Haul. Your associate Cora was courteous and knowledgeable. She quickly identified errors on my online reservation and corrected them promptly. Cora guided me through contract details and optional purchases clearly and concisely. As a former retail business mananger and military retiree, I'm able to recognize an outstanding employee when I see one. You have a gem in Cora. Please consider grooming her for a larger role within your organization. The investment will be well worth the time and effort.

Reseervations should leave renting the storage units to the people on site! I moved 1,400 miles with a 6x12 uhaul trailer to a unit that wouldnt fit 5x5 and they had no other units! Never again
