I was there at 11AM, and they couldn't rent me a truck or trailer because they said they had no inventory (the lady even searched all the local U-haul locations and said nothing was available anywhere) - an hour later, we were home and called the 1-800 U Haul number, talked to a rep who reserved us a truck at 1:45PM at the EXACT SAME location. So we went back and picked up our truck there. Ridiculous that they "couldn't" help us an hour earlier...

The staff who checked us in was incredibly nasty and rude. We were yelled at repeatedly for being confused about where to go questioning additional charges for items we never received and we stopped for gas twice prior to returning the truck to make sure we had the fuel at the level we received and yet were charged extra for not having a completely full tank when that was not how we received the vehicle. Overall just a terrible experience and we have no interest in using uhaul equipment ever again.

It was a huge improvement at Linden Ave versus the Woodman Rd location and would be helpful to know the difference in a larger rental full service center vs a smaller gas station pick up.

Absolutely terrible. The counter person, Nosferatu (that's their name), speaks as fast as he possibly can to purposefully confuse people on their agreements and is actively rude. I couldn't get into my storage unit for four days bc they didn't have a working code to give me. They never answer their phones. I was overcharged on my truck rental and when I went in to get this all resolved the manager, Evan, offered to let me pay in cash for what I was overcharged so it wouldn't be on my card. COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL. A one day 20 $truck rental turned into a 55 $charge and a week long excursion. I've been using uhaul for atleast 6 years and this is by far the worst experience I've had at uhaul as well as one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I expect a full refund for the truck rental but I don't know how that will happen since it's impossible to get ahold of anyone.

Your online app doesn't work. When I tried to load photos of my drivers license, it would only upload the photo of the back. When I returned the trailer and tried to upload the photo showing the trailer was clean, the app reset and restarted. I tried multiple times to complete each process. (Using an android phone)

The man that waited in my husband is extremely rude. My husband has medical reasons for not wearing a mask, and he didn't say one word until after my husband paid. Then he was a complete asshole. My husbands issues and reasons for not wearing a mask are extreme and this guy wants to yell and threaten my husband. Not ok. The anti discrimination act of 2010 states that a private buisness cannot refuse service over medical issues. Not wearing a mask because of medical issues falls under that act. The way he was treated was completely and totally uncalled for and if he had video of it we would be talking to our lawyers. If this is how you treat people with medical issues then your buisness is not worth anyones money. Completely and totally uncalled for and ridiculous way to treat someone. Also making comments about the way my husband was dressed! Making fun of him and assuming his occupation! Completely and totally insulting and disrespecting my husband. I will not be a returning customer. Employees name was evan good.

Uhaul needs to be more professional & stop ripping customers off. I was told that I had to do a minimal of a two day rental when I only needed one day. Then I wasn't able to get my day reimbursed when I returned the uhaul. Your company sucks as a whole. Everything I asked about the reimbursement I was told to call the 1-800 number. I called and was on hold for like 40 minutes just for them to say I can't be reimbursed. Not professional at all

I went 15 miles and had to put 9,2 gallons of gas to fill the truck before returning the truck. Obviously, I did not really have a full tank when I picked up the truck. I was robbed.

There was straw in the trailer but we cleaned it out and they actually took money off our rental for the inconvenience. That were such a friendly crew there and all so helpful especially Nefraatous ( can't remember how to spell it!! The vampire name)! He helped me with sizes needed and with carrying things tot he car and was very cheerful and courteous!!! This is the only one I like going to!!!!!

The workers at this facility hope to it and made the experience easy. They were very busy and worked very hard to accommodate all of the customers and phone calls. These employees performed outstanding under the pressure of the high volume.

The people at the Linden location were very nice and the equipment was fine. The only thing that would deter me from using your service in the future is the terrible website. It was hard to check in and edit information and when I got back it was hard to get checked out. Luckily the person on site helped me get checked out so I could go home.

Walk out to check the vehicle- The clerk documented me down for the wrong mileage and charged me. Also, I received the vehicle on E and did not receive my credit amount.

I showed up to get my trailer and the entire system was down. This was very frustrating. He called me a couple hours later saying it was back up. I show up and get my trailer thinking for the inconvenience they would discount my trailer or something, there was nothing. and there was a big pack of blankets in the trailer I didn't ask for which I didn't appreciated because it was just in the way of me loading it up. Where they keep the trailers is pretty narrow space so trying to return and back up is not so easy.

I had a lot of trouble getting the online check in to work properly with issues during every step. The employees at this location were able to provide assistance and saved me a lot of stress from the online portion not working for me. Great staff here

It was said vehicle was provided with full tank gas, drove only 40 miles and it costed me about 22$ to fill tank. Not sure if the gas was full when it was provided.

Flat tire back driver side. Truck very dirty. Took an additional 5 when they still had 59,05 of my deposit and still waiting for that to come back. Will never rent from uhaul again. Very displease and very unprofessional general manager. Couldn't even explain why charges where what they were for and very unclean and rude.

I was charged 3 times what I was supposed to pay, because of a little trick with the milage. Was not informed of the difference. We,(customers), are involved in a move and it's hard to keep all these little details in mind. I think that you use shadey and deceitful business practices. I will never use or recommend U-haul to anyone.

In the beginning we were extremely happy with the facility. We had no problem when our rate was raised from 54,99 to 59.99. We were annoyed at the immediate almost unstable 5 $increase to 64.99. When the rate eventually increased to 79,99 for a 5x10x10 we were very dissatisfied. we were told the increase was not to keep people like us out, but to keep the riff faff out.

I've been calling the 800 number and local for 2 weeks now trying to connect my linden ave rental to my online account. The lady on the 800 # didn't know how and no one answers the phone at the store.. so how am I supposed to pay my bill ??? This is ridiculous

We were there on Thursday July 2 to check and see about placing a few of our boxes.. We were "yelled" at since it was already after 6 pm and we had not done "all the paperwork" yet. The store was open until 7. We had reserved the unit for Thursday, July 2. Since the unit had also "not been cleaned," we agreed to come back on Friday July 3. When we arrived the next morning, the unit had STILL not been swept and mopped. So the unit was WET when it was turned over to us. Cardboard and wet floors do not make a good mix. Our time was wasted waiting for the unit to be cleaned and the floor to dry so we could place our boxes in the unit. The unit should have been cleaned in a timely manner, maybe Wednesday? Thursday morning?

I didn't appreciate UHaul raising the rates without giving me a notice, and time to decide if I accepted it. Also didn't appreciate the no pro rate time. If I don't use an entire month I shouldn't be charged for it. I'll never use UHaul for anything else ever again. You Lost a customer for life. I also will not recommend you to anyone.

The loading/unloading vehicle lane facilitated easier transition of our belongings. It was especially useful on a misty morning. We also appreciated that carts that were provided.
