Online check-ins are not user friendly. When that option does not want to be utilized by a customer to check out, checking out with a representative should be an available option. My pickup was delayed because it was insisted I used the uhaul online checkin, which did not work. The truck I rented needed to be serviced for a move within the same town… approximately 7 blocks away. I was unable to utilize the truck for 2 1/2 hours, which was extremely frustrating because move in hours for my new apartment building are only 9-5 M-F.

Easy in and out. They van was relatively new (4k miles), ready, clean, and fueled for the day of moving. Counter person was very helpful. Also, a nice clean location and drive up, the drop off was smooth and the person was great.

It wasn't with the place i picked up or dropped off. The problem was with u-haul and the customer srevice. Dealing with uhaul and customer service was absolutely horrible experience. I had my reservation a month in advanced thank god !

The only problem I had was when I first parked the truck it was double parked with the flashers on. When I went to move it truck was completely dead. Mechanic came quickly and put new battery in, told me these trucks will go dead if you leave the flashers on for more than 20 minutes. If true, something you should warn truck renters about

Your customer service was excellent.. Your vehicle's on the other hand should be maintained before releasing for service. The truck rattled so much, I couldn't drive faster than 45 mph. It had a vacuum leak that made a loud hissing noise. Some of the instrument panel light bulbs were out, making driving at night a nuisance.

We were 100 % satisfied with the facility until having had an encounter with the manager at the end show and she was very punitive and and hostile . She felt challenged challenged because a product that she recommended was not received with enthusiasm and later sought to pull rank and punish us by insisting we should go up and take a photograph of the room even though it was busy and a staff member was willing and able to go inspect the vacatied room. She was utterly combative and unprofessional. Poor customer sevice. Unlike what she purported in the video which is what appealed to me when I was shopping around. She certainly did a poir show of representating the company.

The three staff members at the counter said “we can see your reservation in the system, but we can't release the truck at that rate”. They refused to contact a manager, saying “she's not here. They “reentered” the reservation in the system at a higher rate, refusing to honor the reservation rate, and told me I couldn't have the truck otherwise, which would have been a disaster. The process took 90 MINUTES!

The staff was friendly but I was overcharged, and I feel it was on purpose. First, I went in after I made an order on line. I was asked on line if I wanted insurance and I indicated that I did not. The young lady added the insurance and did not mention it to me so when I signed I was not paying attention and had to pay the 14 dollars I specifically declined when I made my reservation. My fault for trusting the staff. Then, which is why I say I was overcharged and on purpose, I bring the truck in and was charged 20,00 $ for After Hours Drop off, not sure how it was afterhours when I handed my keys to an employee and the location was open and advertises as such at the time of my drop off. The grand total for the additional charges 34 plus the tax.

I have never experienced worse customer service. I was charged triple the amount of my uhaul and was called a racist from the manager at the store. She then put a hold on my account for bringing truck back to wrong address which I brought it back to same store i received from. Unacceptable

I RENTED A CARGO VAN FROM UHAUL LOCATED AT SHELL OV ROCKVILLE CENTRE, 360 SUNRISE HWY., ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY. RES#23110416. MY RENTAL WAS FOR FRIDAY, 9/24/21 AT 10:30 AM. I ARRIVED EARLY TO THIS LOCATION WHERE I WAS GREETED BY A VERY NASTY ANGRY MAN WHO TOLD US WE SHOULD GO OUTISE & CALL THE NUMBER ON THE DOOR AS UHAUL RENTAS WERE NOT HIS PROBLEM. WE WERE VERY TAKING BACK BY HIS BEHAVIOR SINCE HE SEEMED LITERALLY ENRAGED. WE IMMED STEPPED OUTSIDE, ACTUALLY IN FEAR AND CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE DOOR (516-608-5932) AT LEAST 20 TIMES AND NOBODY ANSWERED. WE LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES AT THIS NUMBER AND ACTUALLY TO DATE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. THE VAN WAS ON SITE BUT OBVIOUSLY WE NEEDED A KEY. AFTER WASTING 35 MINUTES WITH THIS ANIMAL WE CALLED UHAUL (1-800-996-0500) AND THE WOMAN I SPOKE TO TOLD US TO LEAVE THIS LCOATION & GO TO THE 230-240 MAPLE AVE LOCATION TO GET A VAN AND SHE CHANGED OUR RESERVATION TO THAT LOCATION WHERE WE WERE TREATED GREAT. I AM APALLED THAT U-HAUL WOULD EVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH SHELL OF ROCKIVLLE CENTRE. DUE TO THIS DELAY I MISSED MY 11 A.M. APPT AND AM INFURIATED AND VERY DISAPPOINTED. The move-in was fine, back in 2017 when I moved in, so I don't know why I'm getting this now, but it is typical of the complete lack of communication at the facility. For six months now I have been having major problems with my payments -- checks are lost and then posted 6 months late, checks take weeks and weeks to post, and no one knows what is going on or has any interest in finding out. I had to come personally to the facility to straighten out my account, and then ANOTHER check appeared and was posted 6 months after I sent it in. When I texted the manager (as he had asked me to do about any issued), he has never responded. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.
