The unit was in need of maintenance. The cable on the back door had broken strands. The alignment was also off. The unit had a pull to the right. Revisit the refusal to use the Department of Driver Service temporary driver's license. As a driver we do not have control of the length of time it takes to get the actual card.

Drop off was fine, it was after hours and nobody was there. Only minor complaint is I spent 10 minutes looking for a dropoff box before realizing it was a slot in the door. They could make that more obvious.

Everyone at this location was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a tiny problem arise, and they were quick to get it resolved and in a friendly/timely manner. This is the only U-haul location I've been to or dealt with that was as amazing as this one. Thank you so much to the team that helped me today!

The woman who was at the counter at 5:00pm was unkept, rude, and abusive. She was not wearing a name tag. She seemed to not understand the computer system and worked at a very slow pace. Mr. Patterson, the other person at the counter was professional and competent. When I asked for the name of the woman that I am complaining about, no one would supply it. I think you should replace her.

Staff needs to know how to address a customer upon arriving on property. Seven people all over the place and only one greeted me. No friendly at all. First trailer had some homeless people items in the back of it. Wasted too much time changing it out. Manager didn't offer an apology nor a discount for the trailer not being ready. I spent too much time on your lot just to rent a trailer. Tried to make a reservation days before but the Manager informed me that I didn't have to make a reservation; we have plenty trailers to rent. I was more concerned about my time frame for the day not how many trailers you have. Staff and Manager first impression was not a good one with me.

Overwhelmed staff. Did express check-in yet I still waited over an hour to be processed again with the same information, including duplicate pictures of my drivers license. What's the point of an appointment time if we still have to wait an hour for repeated processing.

Anthony, the district manager who helped me with the rental was very helpful. He took care of the problem with our missing trailer hitch part. We had to rent a truck and auto transport because our hitch part wasn't in. You should call people ahead of time if they are not going to be able to add a hitch for a trailer they are renting.

There was one employee at both pick up and drop off. This location is extremely busy and both employees were super busy and had way to much going on at one time. Otherwise, great experience with the mobile system for renting.

Returning the truck was a problem...this was the second time I encountered this man. Even thought I had the receipt for the gas I put in the truck (4,1 gallons for a 37 mile trip) he tried to tell me that he would have to record that the gas level was lower that when I check out the truck. He claimed he could adjust his entry for a tip. He has used the scam on me twice.

Totally displeased with UHaul not the this facility. UHaul did not allow me to drop off in the area I had moved so had to drive 45 minutes one way to drop off versus maybe 10 minutes to a more local facility. They were using my time to facilitate repositioning their equipment. Also I was informed by one of their employees that I could drop off at any local but that is not the case. Not sure I will use UHaul in future if I cannot drop off to a spot more convenient.

Location was fine, easy to get to and what you'd basically expect. I was not happy with the service rep bringing up “I got this tip.. and this tip... and if you do this you get a better tip”. It never dawned on me to tip at uHaul, didn't know that was a thing. I pulled out a 10 $bill (thank goodness I had some cash, worried what would happen if I didn't) and slid it to the guy after it took him 15 minutes in the scorching sun to unhook a trailer that I could have done myself is 60 seconds. I'll not be using that location again.

After walking around the facility I discovered that my reserved truck size was not available at the time of my pickup. Contact-less pickup was no longer possible in order to be reassigned another - larger- than needed - truck. Positive note was the man that fixed the problem in a professional and timely manner. Great job

I am totally disappointed with this location process , I was assured a rate change dure to equipment change and tet i was OVER CHARGED and for services not done-- If ireturn after hours at 9pm I am the one doing the service (disconnect) why charge saying the employee did it. NOT!!!

My original location's padlock wasn't working to retrieve the key. When we got to this location after waiting an hour to get off the phone with Uhaul the employees were carrying on personal conversations. The rep was supposed to have management contact me about my experience because I had to put extra mileage on the truck at 0,99/mi for going to another location because of not being able to retrieve the truck. Everything about this experience was horrible.

Don't rent broken trucks. I drove the 20ft. Box truck across the street to fill it with gas. After filling it with file I climbed back in and it wouldn't start. Thankfully one of the employees came to my aid and jumped it. After driving it back they told me there was nothing wrong with the truck..... and wanted me to continue using it. I requested a different truck and it felt like it was a huge inconvenience for me to have done that. Over all I did not leave this location feeling like I could trust the workers or the owner.

The employees looked and acted like they were having a bad day. My original rental location did not have the truck I had reserved when I arrived as scheduled to pick it up. They then transferred my reservation to the main rental location about 25 minutes further away. Got there and was given a truck that was just checked that supposedly had the furniture pads I requested. Opened the back door and there were 3 piles of pads just haphazardly thrown down. Made them do a count - they were 17 pads short of want I had been told were there. When this was pointed out to them they quickly got missing pads but it was obvious no one had checked when the truck was checked in. This added about 90 minutes to my pick up time.

Replace the staff working there. The staff (not everyone) has the worst attitude to the point of unwelcoming. One worker even said “this job is stupid” in front of me and several other customers. The truck I received, the cab was dirty and crawling with ants. Somebody there canceled my auto trailer that was already paid for, so I had to re-rent the trailer which costs me more then the original price I had already paid. Overall this location would be better if they had staff that actually cared about their job.

It was impossible to close out my units using the online system. I got auto responses that it was being handled but yet nothing happened. I often could not get through to the local office and corporate office didn't have control over what needed to be done. I was billed late fees both times and it took me several hours to handle closing my accounts. The local staff was pleasant and helpful once I got through but it can be very difficult to call and get someone at the Ogeechee office.

Regarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly 200 $in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.

I had a reservation for my storage unit as well as drop off location for the truck rental, I called to confirm my order by calling gouhaul.com and was setup with a 1 bedroom unit when I clearly requested a unit for a 2 bedroom home with living room furniture and appliances , I was also told that I couldn't use the location as my drop off location, only for my storage unit.when the location is in fact a drop off spot. The reps online needs to be more knowledgeable of their job.I literally had to call about 4 times,spoke to someone different each time and my orders still was not accurate.

It was like an oven coming up to grab anything. I understand I didn't pay for temperature control but it was like walking into an oven and was extremely uncomfortable. I feel like there could have been some air circulation without paying extra money considering the storage unit itself was close to a hundred dollars a month. I won't be using u haul again for storage needs.

They are the best! During a time of Covid they were a blessing to me! God is great and they are the next best to God. I'm an ever so grateful! I promised my dad before he died I would donate to the museum is Korean War pictures and his picture with Ava Gardner to the marine museum. I can keep my promise to him ! Staff was very courteous and helpful. I'm renting an RV space outside under cover, I am very disappointed in the gravel parking lot, was not installed properly and I need to be in four wheel drive just to drive through. Have complained
