I didn't catch the name of your employee that worked here on Aug 1, 2021, but he deserves a raise! He was the only employee working and there were at least 10 customers both when I picked up my truck and and dropped it off. He was working very hard and was very helpful. He made the experience extremely easy! I'm not sure if someone called off or not, but there should be at least 2 or 3 people working on busy days.

For starters, this is the third time I rented a truck from Uhual in the last 4 years. Every single time they have told me the day before I need the truck that they don't have the truck that I want as the requested location. Keep in mind I reqested the truck each time at least a month in advance and received a confirmation that I would have that truck at that location. Uhuals practice of "Not holding trucks" is a very porr way to conduct business. What is the point of a "reservation" and a "confirmation" if you can't guarantee the truck a person wants at the location they need it? Instead you'll mae the customer (me) have to drive 32 miles out of my way round trip to get the truck I need. Thats really poor customer service. That's issue number one. Issue number two, the truck was filthy inside. I seriously didn't even want to sit on the seat yet alone place anything in the disgusting cup holders. The truck was obviously not cleaned before I took it and it looked like the truck had not been cleaned for quite some time. Issue number three was a safety issue. Only one headlight was working. As soon as I left the uhual parking lot I could see in the reflection of the vehicle in front of me that only the passenger side headlight was working. I didn't have time to go back to the Uhual place and trade trucks ( which they didn't even have another 15ft on site) or wait for them to repair it. I had to drive with the high beams on the whole time so that I had two working headights and I could actully see where I was going. Thats strike three for Uhaul. The next time I need a truck I will be looking at other options like Enterprise, or renting from a home improvement location.

I was disappointed that the 24/7 option that I signed up for in order to pick the van up prior to the store did not work. We then had to wait in a long line during open hours which delayed our day by 2 hours. The individual who checked us in indicates that he was able to see we attempted to use the 24/7 option and said that the system frequently does not work. If this option is not a viable option at this location, it should not be offered! It created a big change for our schedule.

I didn't ask for furniture pads or a utility dolly. They were both in the truck. I didn't use either of them but got charged for both.

Going on the app is a pain. It take over 30 mins to complete after you drop off the truck. If you run into problems on app and can't continue after step 1 you need to call customer service and you wait another 30 mins waiting on them to answer the phone so they can fix a mistake the person checking you out messed up on. So now you wasted a whole hour just to check in the truck just to drop off. I myself am inpatient had problems on the 1st step and called and after waiting on hold for 15 mins hung up and put key in drop box. Called uhaul next day about problem woman took my number said she call back and never did. Some customer service. Charged me 20 to do paper work when everything was their fault from the beginning. If mileage was put in computer right the first time i would of not had problems. Thanks

Just a heads up the driver side door the window frame the insulation was falling off it just hung there so that is why I said no to well maintained but otherwise great experience the employees were friendly and consise made sure if I had any questions would answer best of there knowledge.

Rented a van from there on Saturday 7/3. The employee told us we could split the payment when we payed. Later in the week I saw 2 transactions from them on my bank statement. I called the store on Tuesday and they said it should drop off my account. It didn't drop off. Went back yesterday again to the store 7/10. Here they lied at time of service and couldn't split it. The women I talked to about it yesterday afternoon was very rude and said we shouldn't rent from them if we have to split it. And she said they probably said that they could as a courtesy. She said she's been there for 5 years, and obviously doesn't have good customer service in our opinion. We will not be recommending them to anyone.

The initial arrangements on the web and phone were painfully long. Questions asked over the phone did not determine early enough that the rental was one way. The web lists available rental units inaccurately and it became necessary to drive 40 minutes one way out of the way to pick up the rental. At the pick up location, the process to check in was too long. Again it appeared system limitations contributed to the delay. The individuals were very helpful

Uhaul has their act together. From reserving the vehicle, to picking it up and returning it everything went smooth. I've been to this location several times and I love having it so close to where I live. Top notch service from the lady who checked me in. Could not be happier with the entire experience. 5 stars from me!! Well done Uhaul!!

U-haul is a Shit show, bit this location shouldn't have to pay for it I ordered a 26ft and got aren't able hour away for a 20ft. Get your shit together.

The truck was far from smooth. It was bumpy as hell. As for improvements, these have nothing to do with the location... uhaul as an organization needs improvements. Here are a few of many ... A) how long it takes to reach a live person on the phone. I've called several times recently and waited no less than 10 minutes to be connected. B) more consistent customer service, including accuracy of advice given. C) consulting customers before just canceling their reservations.

The truck was dirty and gross when I picked it up. Office was busy. When I texted the truck needed cleaning at drop off, I was charged 25.00.

I did an online reservation, no issues. Get there this morning and the app never gave me a code for the lockbox to get a key, which was needed for the self check-in. I spent 45 mins on HOLD waiting to get a code from a rep. The man running the store arrived 15 mins before the store was to open, I tried to get his attention and tell him the issue, but he walked right past me and locked the doors behind him with out so much as a “I'll be with you in a moment.” Ended up finally getting a live person on the phone an hour later, and getting the code which wasn't even for a lockbox, it was for a lock on the truck that opened the cargo area where the key was. The phone guy was very nice and patient and was able to give me extra time for the missed hour of my rental.

Have the truck ready at the time of the appointment. Had to wait an hour for it and was told if it didn't arrive I would not have a truck at all. This is 3rd time in 4 months that this has been an issue. Last time using this company. Horrible with keeping reservation and awful customer service.

The Uhual representative was friendly and helpful. The check in process was easy and the equipment was in good working order with no issues. The return was equally easy. A representative greeted us on our return and quickly check us out. We would recommend using Uhaul to a friend. The only part of the experience that could have been an issue was the reservation process. We initially made a reservation to pick up the truck at a location close to us. It wasn't until I called did I understand that my "reservation" was not actually commitment to having a truck at the location. To ensure we would have the truck we needed, we should reserve the truck at the Shillington location. Had we not talked to someone, it could have been a very disappointing experience. I recommend making it more clear to on-line reservations that in some locations, there is NO reservation for the truck you want. Only a request. A request with no commitment does no good for planning a move.

This location had my license a for about a month and acted like having my identification card was not a big deal. For this reason alone I called customer service and complained due to the lack of professionalism and regard. Customer service apologize for this location's behavior and said that I will be contacted by a manager within 72 business hours. I was never contacted so I followed up with another call to customer service who apologized and put in a specific request to the traffic control manager with a reference ID number of 2651806 and I should have been contacted within 72 business hours by this specific manager. Due to not receiving this call I called again and I was informed that the manager of the Shillington location Debra Antonelli said that she apologized so they closed out the case. However, I never received an apology from Debra and told the customer service agent that Debra lied and has never contacted me let alone apologize. A few days later I am contacted by Debra, which follows, "Hello. I am emailing to apologize if you felt that your issue was not serious matter and I am glad that you have your licence back. If there is something else that can be done for you in the future we will be here to serve you. Thank you for your business, have good day. Debra" My reply to this email was, "While I appreciate you reaching out and apologizing, I am unhappy with the fact that it took so long for me to receive an apology. I am also unhappy with the fact that a representative stated you previously reached out to me directly, apologized, and  therefore the case was closed. However, this is the first time I received an apology. This apology does not sincerely apologize for the inconveniences your location caused me due to having my licence in your possession for a month. The apology does not cover the flippant behavior of Richard who chuckled at the fact that his colleague who I previously spoke to decided to mail the licence weeks after I gave her my address. This "apology" does not resolve my case and I believe I should be compensated for the inconvenience, unprofessionalism, and disrespect I received from your location. -Shyree J. Gonzalez" I did not receive any communication back. Due to all of this I decided I will no longer give my money to this company and removed my belongings to be stored with a company who are respectful, considerate, and professional. When I removed my belongings Debra (who did not wear a mask) serviced me and did not apologize for anything. I received an email that asked for my feedback and when I click the link it states that I've already given my feedback. Usually I'd think that this is a glitch but due to the lack integrity shown by this location I decided to give my feedback another way encase someone did something unprofessional and unethical again. I will also be reporting Debra and this location to the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration since I have witnessed Debra interact with/service clients inside and outside the facility without wearing a mask. My move-out date was 6/26/2020 and I expect to be able to see my feed back until the end of August 2020.
