My friend and I had a miscommunication and she shut the back door with a shelf ro my Armour in it. I thought she grabbed it. Soon as I disco ered it missing the next morning I spent 3 hour trying to call. As usual they do not answer the phone. Yet when I went there, there was no customers and the kid sitting behind the checkout was ignoring the phone and wasn't even helping anyone. When I told him I believes I forgot my shelf in the truck last evening he took me out to where trucks are checked in to see if it was set ro the side. Then a lady came out and said she threw it away and it was gone. Couldn't do a courtesy call? This place is the absolute worse I've ever seen for customer service. From holding babies and talking ignoring customers to flat out ignoring phones to throwing people's things in the garbage

Language matters. When an employee walks up to behind the counter and says (quoting) “I can't find anything on this fucking order.” It's just inappropriate and very unprofessional. Male-not the thin one.

I was very impressed with friendliness of the lady that waited on me when when I pickup the 6 x 12 trailer on Monday May 3rd. She had me backup to the trailer and she did the rest. She answered all the questions I had and was I quickly on the road . When I returned the trailer the same lady had my receipt within 10 minutes. A young man unhook the trailer within those 10 minutes. I have never rented from U-Haul before and would definitely rent from the Sioux Falls location again. Both of your employees were so friendly and hard working. Employees like this are very valuable. Thank you again the Great service and rental.

Your online truck share site is very hard to operate. 3 of us were not able to get it to work. Not a big deal dropping off but unable to pickup if site doesn't work

I had to get my trailer at another location do to wiring issues. Even with this the young man handling my rental made my experience absolutely outstanding. I believe his name was Gage. He deserves a pat on the back for working hard to make the best of a bad situation.

Was not totally clear where I should return the trailer to, so I just dropped it where I got it. Maybe some instructions on return procedures. Great service though!

Xavier was the man in terms of getting us set up with a storage unit. Uhaul website was down and he bent over backwards to get us settled into a unit.

My experience with the puckup and return was great. I called the day before and my conversation with Gage was not the same. I had called to inquire about my location being changed. He flippantly told me it was because customers want to see him. When I told him that was unprofessional he said he really didn't know. He then put someone else on the phone that quickly answered my question. I would let Gage have as little contact with customers as possible! My expectation in a business dealing to maintain professionalism!

This location initially frustrated me because they could not get my hitch in stock. However, they explained the reasoning and provided excellent customer service when I picked up the trailer.

I didn't get the trailer I ordered. Towing a motorcycle in a standard utility trailer is a much bigger pain in the ass than the one designed for motorcycles with a wheel chuck i.e. the one I requested.

Treat customers with some sort of respect, and clean up the parking lot so people can actually access the rental equipment. If I could I would never deal with these people again. From the half wit who acted annoyed I was there to the mess everywhere.

My concerns have to do with the staff customer service, They need to improved by talking to customers whenever they are going out of the store to attend to somethings else and do talk to the customer who is waiting for service or business transactions

The windows of the truck cab were hard to see through - dirty on both outside and inside of windshield. Not a deal breaker, but hard to clean on our own with a gas station squeegee on the outside and we had nothing to clean the inside of the glass with. The person who checked us out was difficult to hear/understand. (I am 50+ with mild hearing impairment, but my husband has better hearing and said the same)

i had a reservation 2-3 days in advance, and they gave away my truck to someone else who had put in a reservation 2 hrs prior to me showing up to pick it up. when i mentioned it the women on the phone "kylie" argued with me saying it didn't mattered and kept saying they did me a favor by upgrading me to a bigger van. which defeated my purpose as i'm towing a motorcycle and needed to be able to see the trailer, which i also rented, and actually would of made my trip worse. even explaining that she refused to back down and was a complete jerk and had terrible customer service. and the men in the store were of no help either. the truck i ended up taking had a bad mirror that made it almost impossible to safely move into the right lane, the padlock wouldnt lock without a hammer to shut it. overall awful experience and if i move again i pray i don't need your service.

The only comment I would like to make. Your under staffed at the front desk. If you can't find help management needs to fill in. I did not see any manager in the office or helping with customers.

Ok for an in town move. However, Truck was damaged and rusty. Rear door was very hard to pull down. High mileage vehicle that probably needs replacement. This is not a reflection on the staff at the location. Team member who took care of me was very knowledgeable and professional. He is the reason I will come back. Definitely not the truck.

Although the location was clean it is very congested with trucks parked along the street and the lot is full. This in itself lends to a feeling of unorganized and overwhelmed.

The kid when I first came in didnt even notice I was there. I stood for 5 minutes before he noticed. Too busy on computer doing his own research. Today, when checked out, 2 people there and a line of 5 others and a phone call.

I reserved a 6Ã-12 trailer to pick up at Safeship in Sioux Falls. When I arrived they had one on-site. After processing my reservation I was told I could not have that trailer and I needed to go to Uhaul location on 11th St. When I arrived there they had no 6x12 trailers and I had to rent a 15ft truck for a higher price + pay for gas.

When I returned the trailer, the individual at the customer service counter made me feel very uncomfortable. The whole time he continued to talk politics and basing President Biden very aggressively. I did not engage, but this type of customer service is unprofessional and not acceptable. I will not be revising this location, nor will I recommend it after this.

My initial phone conversations were very helpful but when I got confirmations on everyting the size of my unit was wrong. I called 2X and when I got there it was still not correct. Your employee on site (Tyler?) was excellant to work with. He got me the unit size I wanted and worked it out so that I could drop off my rental truck at the storage site instead of across town.
