As well wanted a second phone number of friends or relatives to verify they know me I am sorry it’s mid week and mid day everyone is working not going to burden them with this nonsense made me feel like I was buying a car with bad credit. I will not be back and will post my experience on social media completely non sense just to rent a vehicle.

First of all I rent uhauls about 5 to 10 times a month. The person who checked me out had no customer service. He acted like he did not care about my business and weather I rented a truck or not. Would not let me leave a vehicle on the lot... just lousy way to treat a customer.

Stop your online service. My ex stole my phone and got this in my name. I didn't want this nor did i know about it. I'd advise making the customer see a real person b4 they can drive off in your equipment. I'm extremely happy nothing happened to yourequipment and that u got it back. I was told in Vashon that I could remove an insurance that I didn’t want. In auburn, they said that I should have had the insurance removed in Vashon. I want to be reimbursed for the insurance that I didn’t want or need.

The rental truck was for $29.95 & it totaled out to $107.82. I am not satisfied at all. This has never happened to me before renting from your company. I was charged rental rate $29.95 plus rental charge $29.95=$71.57. Plus $25.18 EZ fuel sales when I brought the truck back with the same amount of gas when I rented it. If this isn't fixed; I will never rent from your company again!

I reserved a 26 foot truck 3 weeks in advance and 2 days before our move I called them only to find out the truck went in for service and never bothered to call me. They gave us a 15ft truck which took 5 loads, alot of miles and a ton of fuel all the while a 26ft sat in there parking lot!! Not pleased with them one bit...NEVER AGAIN!

Make sure to tell people about the Tow/haul button that automatically turns on when you start the truck. I didn't know about it and the truck swerved in the rain. Another thing is the truck had a dolly already in the back that I was charged for and I didn't ask for it nor use it. I had my own flat bed dolly.

I have to ask. What the hell happened to UHaul? You used to be sometimes the only bright spot in a move. When everything fell apart and nothing on the other end came together, U-Haul was there. No it anymore. You made me drive (physically drive) accross two counties to four different locations each time telling me "Your truck on the Ground." All those miles I drove and u wasn't offered jack shit for compensation. I was told at pick up "We don't do that." Assholes.

I was harassed by the South Auburn location. I extended my reservation by another 24 hours. They called my cell phone 52 times STRAIGHT!! Back to back for an hour and called my contacts phone number 57 times!!!! I rent fro U-Haul regularly and was treated like I was a CRIMINAL! They sent me a harrassing text message stating they were going to charge me $1500 if I didn’t call them. I will NEVER use U-Haul again!

First, this was not my original pick up location choice. The rep that asked me to pick up here instead only gave me a 10 mile credit. Agent said rental truck gas full. I took a picture showing that it was not full. Went back inside and he changed it to 15/16 tank gas but in actuality it was 7/8. When I was a block away from this location the gauge had dropped to that mark.

After reserving online, completing all emails I received, completing the check in process on my phone- while physically taking pictures of the truck we had been assigned, the truck was taken by another customer who came up with a key and drove away. We were told we would have to wait in line. This is unacceptable service. There is no reason that a reserved vehicle should be given away right from under us. This process is ridiculous, inconvenient, and resulted in a complete waste of time. I would never recommend u haul to anyone or use your services again

Nothing for Auburn they were great, I was very frustrated with Uhaul in General because I reserved one in Kittitas and couldn’t get it in Kittitas or Ellensburg or Cle Elum. They wanted me to go to Yakima or Sunnyside or Wenatchee, all at least 40 minutes past my destination which was already two hours away

It was upsetting to pick up a Uhaul with 1/4 tank of gas. I would think since you charge $5/gallon for those who do not bring the tank back "with the same amount of fuel as it had in it", that you would have plenty of funds to refill the tank, and always rent them out full. It would really be a step up in the Customer Service department and say "We truly value the customer experience".

U-Haul needs to make a strong assessment on the 'come-along' ratchet devices you sell. They have multiple sharp edges and may very well result in laceration. They contain stamped out parts that have not been de-burred; hence have razor like edges.

Went the very next day to rent again, and was told that I couldn't leave my car on their lot and that I would have to park across the street and walk back. Probably wouldn't have been a problem except they allowed me to park their the day before. The asst. Mgr. Was extremely rude and approached the situation wrong. I told him that I did it the day before. Also, there were 3 employees and 8 cars parked in the lot so was I just not allowed to park there? I have rented from there several times without incident and have parked my car there each time. I then cancelled my transaction and left. Why would someone who is using your business have to park offsite?

Location denied we had a reservation despite written e-mail confirmation. Eventually we were told the reservation was at a different location and it had to be "moved". This took over an hour. Then when we returned the vehicle we found that we had been charged for two days rental despite having the vehicle less than the ten hours we told the location initially that we would have it. We have rented at this location before without incident but doubtful we will ever be back.

I was double charged both from my debit card the day I returned the equipment and then on my CC the next day after being told my CC had declined when returning the equipment. I called the location/ number on my CC statement as it was not one I had been to or made my reservation at and was told they would call me back and " see what they could do " Meanwhile i have been charged over $100+ dollars .. if this gets fixed in a timely manner I would recommend but IF this isn't resolved this is every U-haul horror story coming to life all at once - Make sure you check, check double check and call if things do not feel right they probably aren't right. lesson learned.

If a person makes a reservation at this location, the confirmed rental (several times) SHOULD BE AVAILABLE regardless of any circumstances that arise. I was forced to drive to the Tacoma location 20 miles away. This is the second time a similar incident has occurred at this location. If you need more 26ft trucks, get them!

I have been renting on a regular basis for the past 15 years. Chris told me I am required to give a second contact phone number that an actual human would answer. This has never in 15 years been required. Once I got to the van I realized I didn't get the keys. Chris told me you don't get the keys until you check out the vehicle. On this date some guy named Chris tried to rent me a van that had a service light on. When I started to back the van out it made an awful grinding noise. Chis said it's not a problem the sensor is not working it will be fine. There were at least 4 other van's available. After telling Chris I would most certainly NOT drive that van, a very nice man named Steven Blankship took over.

When I picked it up Avery was great, she walked me through the process from start to finish. I've been a professional driver for years, I have a CDL license with many endorsements, she noticed that when she took my licenses but still went through all the steps of safety towing a bumper tag trailer. I set my reservation to be picked up in federal way wa, within 30 minutes uhaul was calling me to tell me they did not have a pick up forme at that location and that i needed to drive further away to get one, they would not compensate for the extra millage they were adding to my reservation. Total bummer. So i drove an hour to get this pick up arrive and they can't accept my card because because it was issued through movinghelp.com my husband and i own a moving service and work right along side all of uhauls customers. Funny that I can't use my card. Anyways. They also failed to mention any where in the reservation that pickups cannot be paid for with cash. Yet the box trucks can. Another funny. Another incredibly inconvenient. I had already gone through the whole check in process just to be declined over this. Here's another funny thing. My total came to $60 something, where as my online reservation said it was around $39. After waiting for someone to return with my car i had to go to the bank pull money from my business card to my personal card. Eugh. Return to uhaul just to have to do the check in process all over again. The gentlemanthat helped me was incredibly rude to begin with. When i mentioned that my drivers license had already been scanned and all i needed to do was pay for the truck he told me that i could always just wait for someone else to check me in. Terrible manners that one. My total this time was mid $40. I told both individuals that checked me in that i would be dropping off in lacey in 4 hours. 4 hours go by and i am in lacey dropping the truck off. Everything went smooth, the truck was mechanically sound, clean comfy. It was simply a breeze once i was no longer dealing with uhaul employees. Filled up the tank and put the keys in the drop box. Simple. Done. So i had thought. Next morning i receive a call from uhaul telling me that i was not allowed to drop the truck off in Lacey, pick up trucks were NEVER one way rentals and i needed to go pick up the truck and returnit am hour North where i had rented it from or i would be charged a wrongful destination fee of around $217! I explained that not once had any of the employees said anything about having to bring it back to my pick up location. And we went over this several times. Again they are unwilling to even try to waive any kind of mileage fees or even discount them for the inconvenience or lack of knowledge and instruction from their employees. Some how my order of a 4 hour one way pick up has turned into a 24 hour round trip pick up. I was never made aware of ANY of these details. I explain to the woman in the phone that i am unable to get the truck at the moment and she says that i have until the locations closing time to pick it up and return it to the original location. Prior to returning to the truck i called this woman again as spoke with her still made to believe i can save myself this outrageous charge, only to show and get scolded by a different uhaul employee on

I have never been in a Uhaul before. I was very surprised at how rough the drive was. We were bounced all over the place and every little bump threw us all over. Why can"t trucks ride like cars???!!! and trying to get into the back was a killer...it is SO SO far from the ground!! Can't you make trucks closer to the ground or build in those lift gates or have ramps??? I will never rent a truck again!!! I worried about my cabinet with glass doors all the way home!!! If someone bothered to make and rent REALLY NICE TRUCKS they would get a lot of business.

I always rent trucks from Uhaul and I hate the new policy like everyone else. Why do you need to call a friend/family. Most friends and family members won’t oick up a call from Uhaul because they don’t recognize the number. And what’s worse, most people text and don’t call. Why doesn’t Uhaul just hold my credit card like everything else? Whoever made this policy sucks at doing his/her job.

At check-out, the front desk person was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there were cigarette butts in the truck's ash tray from a previous renter. At check-in, the outside person was a little abrupt and less than helpful.

My pod was brought outside for my access. I did not enter the facility. However, the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to provide assistance.

I arrived during a rush on moving equipment. Chris was patient, friendly, and helpful with every person in line, and took care of everyone much faster than I would have expected. Excellent service!
