I know this location was struggling with staff in the past. I scheduled early morning pick-up since I had a busy day ahead of me. When I arrived my U-Box wasn't loaded on a dolly yet, so I had to wait for the young woman to load it, about 30 minutes.ROBERT R.

Has nothing to do with this location but the main customer service needs some work.. This is now the 2nd trailer I have rented in the last few months that the original location doesn't have one in stock the day before or the day of.. the 1st person that contacted me when I told her the location she was sending me to that was over 30mins away from my house wasn't going to work she went silent or hung up not sure so what.. I called and had to spend 30mins on the phone before getting someone that knew what to do they found the cypress location 5mins from my house.. customers service needs to do better..CHERYL MARIE J.

Brian did not understand the UHaul software which made my renting process long and painful. The girl behind the counter had to help him numerous times. When Brian escorted me to my rental his mother called and he took the call. Really? I waited 2 seconds before I interrupted him because I had questions. Frustrating. Communication was lacking as I had to call multiple times to get updates about a missed delivery window. I understand the breakdown was between the driver and the customer reps I was speaking with. They were very helpful, but have no control over the delivery issues. We had to postpone our movers because of the lack of communication which was very frustrating.Erin M.

Manager was 15 minutes late. It took 30 minutes to get our truck. We were leaving for Ohio, time was precious. Air conditioning went out 10 minutes into our trip. Head lights dim. Terrible tripDEBRA S.
Do not under any circumstances use Uhaul for moving your items. I They have no regard their customers and do not communicate at all. It took them until 4:30 pm the day before my delivering the Uboxes to tell me that they would be there between 4 and 7 pm. I hired movers through moving help when I ordered the boxes for the same day. Common sense would say that the boxes need to be there in the morning for a 5 bedroom house, but obviously that doesn't occur to them, so the movers had to go back and forth getting 2 boxes at a time, making it until 10:30 pm before they were done. I was smart and had the boxes delivered the day before the movers where scheduled to unload. Well, the problems did not stop there. They were supposed to pick up the boxes the day after the unload. They called and asked to come 2 days later due to problems with the truck. I said that was fine. They texted that Saturday morning to say they were on the way and never heard from them again. Supposidely, they showed up and left because there was a car parked halfway in front of the driveway. No call, text, or knok on the door to move it. They just left. I found out about that 4-5 hours later when I called. How ridiculous is that? No communication with their customers whatsoever. If you use the for Uboxes, expect there to be problems with communciation. You have been forewarned. I would stop using them for reserving trailers as well, but there really are no other options.John G.

First impressions are everything and with that said. So far the only thing about this storage is the location. Our first impression of the facility was not very good. The employee at the front seemed like she really didnt want to be bothered. The loading area is full of old junk as soon as you enter the building and it is filthy and smelly. You are greeted by a dirty mattress as soon as you enter the building that smells bad. The building smells bad as soon as you enter and there were roaches crawling in the elevator. My unit was not cleaned at all with chips and dirt over the whole inside u had to sweep it out myself. The person at the front said the maid service would be there later and to just sweep it out to the end of the hall. I returned hours later the dirt and chips of trash were still there. Not a good first impression at all. I would not recommend anyone here. May need to invest in a maid that actually cleans and not leave the junk in front of the entrance for months. Daniel was excellent! Your u-haul in College Station was horrible. I booked the u-box and asked it to remain on site for a week. You are a national company. With locations in most cities, if not all. Your brand promotes for people to move item on their own.â€ U Haulâ€ yet you charge people extra for one way rental. This was not explained at the pickup location at the time of rental and it seems like your penalizing customer for doing what your company promotes. Rental of a 6x12 trailer for 30 hours, which is a little over 1 day should not cost 313.00. For this, I probably will not be using your service again nor will I recommend it to anyone I know!HERMAN R.

I picked up the tow dolly on 8/7 and dropped it off the same day in the afternoon and I was charged 45 plus 98,8 dollars on my card because they said I returned the tow dolly on 8/9 and when I called they employee said that his coworker messed up and he charged me wrong and now I have to wait like 6 business days for me to get my money back when it only too then couple of seconds to take my money .AZUCENA G.

I arrived at 9 AM to pickup my rental. There was nobody at the counter to complete the rental process. There were 3 parties waiting on three separate rentals. Nobody was at the counter until 9:15. The gentleman ahead of me in line was not amused. He tried calling the store manager and got voicemail and then tried the store owner as the numbers were posted. Just as he got off the phone with the owner, the guy showed up to do checkout. It was 9:15.CHRIS JAMES M.
First of, the store opens at 9 on Sunday but no employee was available till 9:30am. That too after called the President of the company. My pickup was confirmed for 9am. Did online check in, had to wait 20 mins coz another employee took the key for the truck that was assigned to me. Eventually they changed the truck in the system and I got the keys at 10am. Renting the storage was a great experience! The couple that checked me in was so friendly and personable! I do have a complaint, then next day that I went to drop off my stuff in the unit, I noticed the latch to close was lose. I went to report it to the gentleman in front office, guy with long hair and he told me that he didn't have access to his tools because the previous manager had been pushed out of the office and left everything locked. Initially I was very pleased with this location. A letter will follow with reasons and photos as to why I am giving this rating. Perhaps, Brittany, if you took a moment to get to know your clients, you would have known my wallet was locked in one of my units rented 5/21/21 and if you retrieve your camera footage you will see me, my kid, and my father in law loading on three separate trips, multiple bags, and my father in law mixed up two bags I was CURRENTLY using with my other bags. In those two bags; there were snacks for my special needs son, his seizure medication, my husbands insulin and syringes, and my passport and my WALLET. When I spoke to you about a late payment initially I was going to call you back when I was not in my car. Then, with all going on in my life, I flat forgot. Then, I planned to pay when Robert reserved the new units (for his belongings and his files), since I would be down there. Somehow I missed all of you during hours you were open and when I went to pay the next few days after that I realized my wallet was missing and honestly thought it was stolen until I pieced the insulin, missing seizure medicine and snacks. Normally I would have noticed this immediately BUT the same day we moved into the facility, my younger sons were with their father, ROBERT (who opened the lockers with free rentals he earned) and my husband CHRIS (bald with glasses) was being rushed back to the hospital from Somerville (to the medical center) That is another reason you will see my father in law on the tapes from last week because my husband wasn't feeling well. Please keep an eye out for my letter which will come to you online and if need be, certified. Please also provide a name of the supervisor who instructed you to speak to my daughter, threatening her with police and telling her that your supervisor said my husband wasn't allowed to wait for me in the car, with his eyes closed in the air conditioning, after being in your hot warehouse, the same warehouse your employee (that gave me a tour) told us didn't get hotter than 80 despite it saying it was not climate control. I found out later he was new, even though your asm is who sold me the spaces. (He is amazing and polite btw) I also don't think someone looking for a bunch of free space would have purchased a total of 11 bundles between Uhaul and another competitor of yours. I do, as explained to the new guy and Asm on 4/11 and again a few days later to a young girl, have 4918 sq ft and six generations of stuff to move, ALONE. That is how the young girl sold me on these uboxes. Which , for the record, are NOT FREE AT ALL. Delivery alone was almost 300 $. I was pressured into that transaction she told me to just change the date change the date and guess what? They don't answer the phone to change it. Next thing( I have SIX boxes and had it not been for my son, all SIX your staff member pushed me into ordering would have been left in my street. So, again my letter is in route. I look forward to a Very productive chat with you and your boss, and the corporate office along with the corporate attorney for Uhaul if need be. I take defamation of my character serious and keep in mind I have numerous friends with lockers there and your staff discussing me to customers is unacceptable. I get you and your staff are all young but making assumptions and poking fun to others or via social media is a huge moral/ ethical issue my book. I suggest you inform your staff to stop , you included, and refrain from ever discussing a customer outside of work. Brittany Rayburn has been such an amazing person to deal with from day 1. We have been using this U-Haul location for almost a year, renting the Cargo trailers monthly for our business. We are no longer using the cargo as much, however, we have now moved to rent parking space to park our own trailer now, and once again, Brittany has just been nothing but great at assisting us and helping us with the whole process. Great helpful staff. We were renting a medium Uhaul truck for 24 hours to assist us from our hour & moving into storage . ( Just sold our home.) We were planning use the truck to put our things in storage with another Storage Company. Upon arrival were told a 2nd floor storage unit was not available instead it was 1st floor & NOT climate controlled. We called the Uhaul staff where we rented the truck. It is just what we wanted & needed. 2nd floor Climate Controlled. It is a brand new building so very few Spaces are presently Leased. The only concern we have is the RAT trap that was in our unit. I put all my soft goods in Rubbermaid boxes for protection but boxes for the rest. We'll see & hope/pray the rats steer clear of our stuff. very helpful associates, and the manager goes above and beyond to be helpful. Facilities are very clean and love that the facilities have propane available to RV users! Love that. One other suggestion for your next mostly RV storage, add a dump station! Would be happy to pay a small fee each time it's used for the convenience and I'm sure others would also.
