Air freshener in the trucks and vans would be a nice touch that I'm sure something all your customers would appreciate. My U-haul smelled liked someone smoked cigarettes in it before I got it. Which isn't a big deal really. But a quick spray of smell goods or sanitizing after each use once returned would be much appreciated. All in all though, I'll always come to this location as long as it's available.

We had to call and switch our reservation to this location the morning of our move because the original location didn't tell us they didn't have all the equipment we ordered. We had massive difficulties with the app and our account not showing our reservation, and we were unable to use mobile pickup like we wanted.

I was lucky enough to get a unit on the first floor. The facility is clean and very secure. Plenty of carts available to assist in move-in/move-out. I like their billing process as well. I would highly recommend this facility for storage.

First off we requested a 20' but they gave us a 26'. Not a huge deal but we did not want such a large one because we do not like driving large vehicles. Secondly they didn't supply the Dolly we requested. And still charged us for it. Thirdly the uhaul was dirty and could hardly see out the windshield. Lastly we were told to drop the uhaul off before 7 am. We ended up dropping it off at 1am in the morning. We dropped it off in the exact spot we picked it up from and put the key in the drop box. A little after 7 am I get a nasty call from someone there asking me why we didn't return the truck. I was like we did, check your parking lot. Then they are like Oh never mind and hung up. Save your self the trouble and go somewhere else.

Customer service is very important. The manager at this location gave me a better rate, with out me asking. He was extremely helpful, and U-Haul better understand employees like this are hard to come by....do everything to keep this guy.

The first unit I moved into had an odor. I mentioned it to the manager Ted and he not only relocated us to an adjacent unit he literally helped. I appreciated that.

Even though I made my reservation through the website to pick up a 5x8 trailer here and had an email confirming it, when I got there they didn't have one. They then transferred my reservation to another location which supposedly had one, when we got there we were told they didn't have one. He was under the impression that our reservation was a one way but it wasn't and my confirmation never said it was. After a lot of back and forth, he all of a sudden had a 5x8 trailor.

The cabin was quite dirty/sticky and smelled strongly of cigarettes (the steering wheel was covered in ash). We found this to be quite frustrating, since the salesperson had just told us it was clean. Thankfully, we had our own cleaning supplies...

I rented furniture blankets, I was charged for them, but they weren't in the vehicle. Since I rented the vehicle after the business was closed, there wasn't anyone I could talk to about that. Otherwise the rental was easy, I checked out using my phone which was a simple process.

My first location that the rental was supposed to be on 3511 N East St, Lansing, MI 48906 didn't have the equipment I had reserved, the staff was not very helpful at first but finally one girl contacted other locations to find the trailer I had reserved. The staffing at the 3511 N East St, Lansing, MI 48906 is not professional nor well educated, this facility should be evaluated by U-Haul. It was not a very pleasant experience.

My truck was not available causing us to have to make multiple trips to move. We weren't offered the $50 guarantee for our reserved truck. When returning the truck the gentleman at the counter was asleep or something. It took about 3 minutes to get his attention. When the keys were handed over he handed them to the woman who was already assisting someone and then put his head back down. We had to ask if we needed paperwork and the woman who was with another client responded that we'd get an email. I'm hesitant to reserve a truck again with UHaul since they can't even guarantee we will get the one we need for our big move out of town.

I reserved the trailer over the phone prior to coming to pick it up. The person that was ‘helping' me in the store barely acknowledged me. He seemed bored and uninterested. I think he was new, because he had to be walked through the entire process, which would have been fine if he had shown any interest. The other 3 people that were working spent the entire time joking around with another client. I definitely felt like I was just an interruption to their day.

Ensure that the trailers are fully inspected. My trailer rental from this U-Haul location resulted in two tires bursting into flames and exploding 30 minutes in to my trip.

Have employees greet customers nicely and the employee of U-Haul should not have through the keys on the counter and my receipt I asked him are you going to show me where the truck is you looked at me and said it's over there by that van and walked off he also told me if I didn't have the truck back by 6:15 I will be charged another day I did not get it back at 6:15 so I thought that I had until 6:30 the next day but that's okay they called and Disturbed my mother at 87 years old in a rest her about the truck I did return the truck early at 4:00 or 3:00 but I would never ever rent from that U-Haul ever again I've always run it from U-Haul and never had a bad experience but this young man was really really rude to me he messed up my whole weekend and then I still have to pay for the truck not good.

Manager was very rude to his employees. I'd never want to work there. Despite reserving a dolly, one was not available until someone happened to bring a truck back that had one in it. He underestimated the distance I needed to drive to where I was going to and I was billed for “miles over.”

I know its hard right now, but the girl that checked us in was the only one there. She had 5 customers right there at the end and worked her butt off to make sure none of us felt we were waiting long, and was super friendly throughout my check in. Please give her a raise, cause frankly that is the only way business are going to retain workers in this economy.

I said no on well maintained because the console was continuously flashing that the right front tire needed air or related about performing maintenance on the low tire monitor, was told the tire was fine but was the spare. Also change oil message kept showing.

This is the nicest U Haul location I have visited. They were well stocked with supplies and the loading/unloading ramps are covered. We were given a tour of the facility and shown our unit.
