I made a reservation for a 17’ foot truck. I was contacted the day before saying they wouldn’t have one available but with the reservation guarantee I would receive $50 off. I given a 15’ truck (which by the way was too small). When I checked in the rep said I had to tell the rep when I came back. When I returned the truck the rep went outside to look at the vehicle and came back in and said my receipt was sent to me via email. I asked if he gave me the $50 off. He said no. Then the guy from the morning came in and said he was supposed to give me the discount rate so he went on the computer and was typing away. He said I was all set. I asked for an updated receipt and he said it would show on my credit card and he couldn’t print an updated receipt. He said if it didn’t show up to come back. Really? After all this drive hung he wanted me to have to come back to where I moved from...?? Well, my credit card only shows the original amount with no discount and no refund. I’ll be calling my credit card with fraudulent activity if this isn’t fixed. What a scam they’re running saying you get $50 if they don’t keep a reservation!

I am very satisfied with my walk in service at U-Haul. Once I walked in the customer service was outstanding, very friendly and kind. The young man Ermias helped me out and was quick to the point on getting me out and started on my rental. I would definitely recommend coming back again and renting from them! They have the best services and mostly the greatest customer service with Ermias as a Rep.

The gas level was inaccurate, the brakes were VERY bad and the computer system didn’t work. When technology doesn’t work staff should be trained to to complete check out with paper forms. The staff worked hard to try to help us. It was a training and maintenance problem, not a personnel problem! Had we not checked the gas tank to verify, compared to the paperwork, we would have been responsible for an additional quarter tank! Employee told us location has had problems with gas left, which says to me, employees should be verifying EVERY tank with paperwork! Brakes were dangerous and we were grateful were were making one short trip in the neighborhood. We reported it when returning the truck. Praying this vehicle goes in for immediate service!

I wanted to rent the uhaul for 19.99, but the cashier said it wasn’t available and I could only rent for 110. Then when I dropped it off the cashier (smoke shop) said it could have been an option.

The first person was helpful and very knowledgeable. When I dropped off the people were on their phones so I was standing there waiting for someone to help me. I appreciate a company that allows their employees to use their phones to promote employee satisfaction but I believe the employees should be prompt when a customer walks in.

The location was clean except that the store smelled like urine both times I was there. We were told there was a key for the lock on the key chain. It wasn't there. We had to spend 40 minutes buying a lock for the main door of the truck. The light in the storage area didn't work. The doors on the cab were difficult to close. It usually took slamming the doors several times to get them to close, and even then we could hear air entering through the doors.

Staff was very helpful and congenial when dropping off the auto trailer we had just used. They had us in and out very quickly and gave clear instructions throughout.

The lady who checked me in was borderline rude. She did not greet me or otherwise look up from her phone even when I was standing in front of her. When I asked her for assistance, she seemed annoyed that she had to do worm and that piss poor attitude continued until I left. She was incredibly slow. The moving truck itself is UNSAFE and I told her (although I don't think she cared at all). The steering is dangerously unsafe, especially when the truck is fully loaded. It was nearly impossible to keep the truck straight. It looked like I was a drunk driver as bad as I was weaving (and I was driving slow to help control the truck better). That truck should NOT be on the road until it is repaired! The guy who rented the truck to me was very nice. All in all, a terrible experience. I am not entirely sure I will rent from Uhaul again after this experience.

The online return process was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE/ PROCESS. SUCH A JOKE. WOULDNT RECOGN8ZE ME BY MY PH# OR EMAIL . EVEN THOUGH I CHECKED IN / RENTED WITH MY INFO. TOOK 2 CALLS TO CUSTOMER SERVICE & 30 MINS OF WASTED TIME TO RETURN TRUCK

I have called over 4 times to try and get a resolution for my horrendous experience with your company last weekend. I called Saturday, July 26th and spoke a representative to help me schedule both a uhaul and a storage unit for the following day (Sunday July 27th). When asked what time would you like to pick up the uhaul, I responded "I am moving in the evening, so probably 6, or 7 pm. SHE RESPONDED "how about 5:30, will that work for you?" I said, "yes that is fine" . I was under the understanding that this was for the location on baseline rd (336 e baseline rd) I was told I would receive email confirmation on my reservation soon after the call. The email never came, but since my reservation was the next day, It wasnt a big deal. Fast forward to Sunday the 27th. I arrive promptly at 5:30 to a closed store. I was confused... why would she tell me to come at 5:30, when the store closes at 5? That prompted me to call in right away. after about a 20 minute hold, I was finally connected to a rep that explained that I could still pick up the truck although there are no employees to help at the store. I was advised to download the app. I told her, this wasnt my MAJOR CONCERN..I was moving out THAT DAY and I have NO ONE TO HELP ME WITH MY STORAGE UNIT!!! She told me there was nothing that she could do about it personally, so I was transferred to another department. (another 15 minute hold.) While on hold, I tried to figure out the app. figured worst case scenario I would have to leave the items in the truck. (although this is inconvenient because I will have to rehire another set of movers to unload). Guess what... THE APP DID NOT WORK. wouldnt let me get past the login although I set my username and password 2 times. I finally get to a rep who I had to AGAIN explain the situation to. he agreed that I do deserve something for my inconvenience whether it be a credit for the storage or towards the uhaul, BUT he could not help me with that. in fact, he would need to transfer me to ANOTHER department in order for me to get help with the app. So what EXACTLY was I even transferred to him for in the first place? at this point, I had been on the phone with you folks going on 40 minutes. My movers are waiting and it is very apparent that this would not get resolved today. I cut my losses. confident that UHAUL would quickly resolve my situation. I was very wrong. After calling back on Monday the 29th I was once again transferred 3 times, each explaining my situation until I was eventually connected to a "supervisor" who was very rude. very cold. seemed like she didnt care one bit about my experience or inconveniences at this point. She stated that she would listen to the call and call me back. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A CALL BACK. The only HELPFUL information that I got from the call is that the storage unit I was expecting to move into was actually at an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LOCATION. WHY would this never have been mentioned to begin with? That

The location is poorly staffed, There were not enough employees to assist customers and the 2 employees there were not well trained. I reserved a van and still waited nearly and hour. I tried to use the mobile app and it was no better. It took over 30 minutes to get as far as opening the kiosk for the key - then there was no key! I STILL had to go inside and wait . . . and wait . . . and wait. I will never rent from this U-Haul location again and probably never rent from U-Haul at all.
