The young man who helped me finish my check out/in. Was very helpful. I should have gotten his name. The truck was old seatbelt indicator would stay on haul indicator as well. Windows didn't seal. You could hear all sounds coming in from outside. The truck was just old. It did get the job done though.

I was charged more miles than I drove. I used the trip button to keep track of my miles. I drove 23 miles but was charged 90 miles. I was also charged for insurance and gas. I paid for 30 miles but returned the truck and was charged nearly $250

The drop-off instructions weren't clear, and I was almost penalized when my employer directed me to just leave the keys in the truck. Then, two days later, when I realized my rental was still active, customer service informed me that next time I should insist on getting a receipt. After that phone call, I received a call from the drop-off location asking when I was going to return the truck. They then charged me for going over the mileage and not leaving the correct amount of gas. When I told the representative that I had, he apologized and said sometimes they mark it incorrectly, and refunded me. I like U-Haul and will still use their services, but they should really work on making the checkout process more seamless and efficient.

While I was returning my u-haul at the end of the day the employee that was they’re working that late afternoon was super rude when I had asked him a question about my contract and just snatched the keys away from me and told me not to worry that he got the keys already to “go away I’m busy can’t you see” .

If you’re going to charge me if I bring a truck back with less gas then it started with you should reimburse me if I bring it back with more instead of telling me essentially too bad.

I reserved a truck in the evening, and when I got there my pick up was delayed as they wanted to give me a truck with no gas and trying for me take it with a discount according to the office personal, yet I had to return it with a 1/4 of a thank wich I feel would of added to what I paid for the truck with fuel. And then had to wait for them to get me a truck that actually had gas. Delayed my departure to go pick my stuff.

Only problem I have is that uhaul has bad telephone ☎️ services because every time I call down at soutmountian uhaul they put me on hold for hours then they forget about me Waiting on phone everytime that happens one time one Hispanic gentleman told he apologized to me about me Waiting on phone he even said they have bad phone service.

The man who claimed to run the store and personally own the truck was rude an arrogant I left full google review about him will never return to this location ever told me he would take action if I didn’t bring truck back even though I was paying for it when I rented it I expressed to them big time that I didn’t know when I would bring it back!

I'm not sure why I keep getting emails pertaining to a passed bill that is due, however upon revewing my order as well as my profile I show NO PAYMENT IS DUE! I HAVE BEEN GETTING EMAILS FOR OVER TWO YEARS!! I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING. THE REASON THE TRUCK WAS DROPPED OFF IN MESA WAS DUE TO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT BACK TO SOUTH MOUNTAIN. I SEND PICTURES OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEING ON AND I WAS TOLD VIA EMAIL DAYS BEFORE I PICKED UP THE TRUCK IT HAD SOME WORK DONE ON IT. If the customer wants to have a good experience, have them see Edwin at your location on 340 E. Baseline. He was helpful and professional. I explained to him the nature of our move, and he was sympathetic to the loss of my Mother. His kindness is something you can't teach, it comes from within. He made things easy and seemed happy to help. He was also there upon return to make the whole process smooth.

My entire experience was stellar until the last rental and and the closure of my storage account. I reached s 10' truck to recover all items from my storage space. The unit has AC additional lock on it that El was put on by the facilities management. When I inquired about it, I was told that it might be on because the Unit was in arrears, which it was not. Payments had been made by direct debit. After records were checked, the additional lock was removed. This was very incorrect l inconvenient since I had just rented a truck to revive my belongings and was now "on the clock" so to speak. When I returned the truck clean and with the amount of gas required, I handed the keys to an employee and advised him that the dolly I rented was in the truck. He advised that a receipt would be sent via email with the final charges. On 03/14 I see that I had been charged a total 285!!! Coroner service advised that these charges arose from a missing dolly fee and a late return of the truck which is not possible because I returned the truck during business hours within the required timeframe and have the keys to an employee. I would like my 200 refunded immediately. This is horrible business!!

Bringing the U-box was right on time to my old address. The driver was friendly and answered all my questions. The U-box was delivered on time to my new address and the driver was also friendly and answered all questions. I would recommend this way of moving.

I reserved a trailer and chose the optional $8 towing coverage. When I went to pick up the trailer today, this location was charging me $11 for the coverage even though my online receipt showed it for $8. The associate then said "they didn't update the website price" and still charged me the $11. I know it's only $3 difference but the price I agreed to online should have been honored.

Tariq, the associate at this location did an EXCELLENT job helping us when everything got messed up through our online reservation. While our overall experience with U-Haul was horrible and I will never use U-Haul by choice again, the associate here was the only good thing with our U-Haul experience.

They had me pay 100 dollars for a 19,95 dollar vehicle. Then automatically slapped me with tax and fees and coverage that I didn't ask for. I was told I would get the 60 dollars back. I have Yet to see refund. Biggest scam I ever had to deal with. To top it off the 10 ft was labeled as "one bedroom/ studio apt... uhuh I had to make two runs. And please tell me why ramps are not a standard feature with all "moving" vehicles ? 100 percent not satisfied and still waiting on my refund.

Hope that fat lazy fuck gets his job stolen by a computer. 250$ for a 1 day truck rental. Home depot or a rental car place is the better option. Side note guy in the morning was super helpful and nice.

Had issue using first my credit card which had plenty of availability, then my debit card also! As I have had no problem with either of these cards anywhere else I find that problematic. The guy helping finally manually entered my debit card which of course it took because seems like issues on your end. Took much longer and frustrating.

Never used uhaul storage before, but my experience at South Mount Uhaul was nice. The cleanliness the security the maintenance, and the staff were friendly, polite, understanding, and very helpful. I will recommend family and friends to go to South Mountain Uhaul under the management of Mr. Michael Robinson anytime. Thank you for allowing me to rent your storage unit.

The only issue is the one way in and one way out. The storage facility is huge and if you have a storage way in the back corner you're screwed. There should be another sliding door closer to the rear or a back or side door you can use. Very inconvenient for customers with far storages.

The young man I spoke with was very polite and knowledgeable and understanding of my not knowing anything about uhaul storage. Made me feel very comfortable to store my things there. After some light conversations I was told he was the General Manager. I said great job young man.

My only note was my inability to change my address at the South Mountain site. I changed it on the UHaul website but correspondence from the site always had us living at our Bakersfield address and not our W Yorkshire Dr address! I tried a number of times to get it changed and corrected through responses from emails bbut to no avail, something was not syncing!

This is a an amazing facility, very well maintained everybody is so friendly. The only thing I would change is how long it takes to get checked out. Also I believe when you book a storage unit your rates should not change, they should remain the same. I believe the rates increased two times if not more in the two years I have the storage unit.

The people in the office are rude and will avoid you like the plague. I am most happy that all I had to do was move out online vs having to go talk to one of them. I remember needing help removing the trailer from the uhaul truck and they refused to help. when they were the ones who put it on? My disabled VETERAN father had to come out and try to help remove the trailer. Then one of the guys who worked there saw me waiting in the front and stayed in the back so he wouldnt have to help me? I will forsure be paying more money to work with a different company for my moving and storage.

There were cockroaches in my unit, and water came in on the month of July from the roof, and when I rented a van I had to wait about half hour to get my receipt after returning the van, because they’re were only two people and the store had 5 people waiting.

Did a 2700 mile one way move. Was told by uhaul that I had 1 free month storage at the facility located at 340 e baseline. That became untrue and is costing me $200 a month. I feel they should stick by what they told me.

I was told by an employee I could only access my unit during business hours 7-7:30pm and that had always been the case. I then informed the rep that hadn't been my previous experience storing with other UHaul locations. My account was also reported as past due when my due date hadn't yet passed. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone as they seem to make up their own rules and not a reflection of my overall UHaul experience. Very poor experience with this location.

My only suggestion is to improve the access to units which always set off the alarm. Entering my code never seemed to work. The staff would tell me just to ignore the alarm, which was fine but not sure that's a good use of the staff's time. They're always so busy helping customers :-)

Buen Servicio , mejorar aseo, mantenimiento y vigilancia : :) Nuestra experiencia fue buena, en el sentido de que pudimos mantener nuestras cosas guardadas, en buen estados, durante el tiempo de transicion pudimos seleccionar que llevar,donar o botar...fue agotador pues no contabamos con mucha ayuda de familiares. Simembargo habia personas muy solidarias gracias a Dios! Por solucionar ..improvec..:( Solo observamos ciertas circunstancias...algunos sitios y carritos sucios, especialmente descuidafos los baños, la gente no cuidaba de este servicio...y al no haber papel higienico disponible, lo atascaron con las toallas...y el otro baño familiar era horrendo y apestaba ...(stinky and dirty)...creo un poco mas cuidado para el aseo y mantenimiento del lugar ...ademas de vigilancia..una noche, tirando unos cartones salto un hombre de dentro del basurero ( a homeless) ..esoces peligroso ! (Dangerous) yo grite y corri..nadie se inmuto...:( Pero en general aunque no fue perfecto,cumplio su funcion , y edtsmos muy agradecidos por ayudarnos en esta dificil situacion durante epoca de Pandemia y perdida de un ser querido.!! This is the first time I've ever had a negative experience with UHaul. For starters, this location which is normally well staffed only had one rep at the counter. While the rep was very helpful it was obvious he was overwhelmed. To make matters worst I was later told the facility closed at 7:30 pm and customers could not access the location. Something I had never experienced at any other UHaul storage facilities and very unacceptable. When i expressed my concerns I was told people were caught sleeping on site. If true, you hire security not limit access. I was very disappointed in my experience and would not recommend this location to anyone.

When I told them something was incorrect after seeing it on the printed paper, i was told "oh just come in one day and we can fix that". I mean come on, I'm standing right here just do it now. Staff was very clear and thorough when explaining where everything was located and how to access the facilities. I was very pleased. The only downfall was that 2 out of the 3 doors were out of service which made moving in a bit more difficult but that is on the facility, not on the staff.

Went in to get my unit and even though there was a very long line and about a 30 min wait....the gentlemen behind the counter were very nice and helpful. However, when I went to move into my unit....it had a sticker stating "needs cleaning." So I went to the office to inquire. When I walked up there; I asked a young african american male to assist me.... he replied back with "yo no hablo espanol." And began laughing (In front of another customer) I repeated that I needed help and he said it again. Not sire if he was being racist or trying to be funny but I thought this was being very disrespectful. I need this unit but I will never recommend this place to anyone for that type of service.

I told the gentleman that I was disabled, and yet I was put in a unit that was way too far away from where you unload/loaded your things. I actually thought I was going to die at one point. I couldn't catch my breath at all.

Storage units are alarmed individually which is really nice. The facility is clean and they have bays you can pull into to load and uload. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Besides a couple small hiccops (which really didn't affect my experience) the experience was really good. Definitely recommend this location.

First of all, I rented a enclosed trailer from you guys. Pulling it was like pulling a dead horse through quick sand. (Iowa to Arizona) this trailer would slow me down if I tapped on my brakes due to a car going slower in front if me the I could feel the trailer pulling me back. Going down a hill it would it would pull against me and made my vehicles transmission Rev up to 500/600 rpm's before it would shift down. I'm very upset about the crappy equipment and I'm sure the ware on my vehicle will show in time. Gas mileage was at least 3x higher then average. Then after driving all night to make sure I got to your location to upload it before my time was up. Every u haul except for the hubble location in dsm, IA were rude with NO CUSTOMER RESPECT! When I went to return the trailer I used your storage just so I wasn't charged extra. So I told the gentlemen I was rented a unit so I could put my things in there so it was unloaded on time. I mentioned that I was disabled, drove all night only to be put in a unit A LONG WAY FROM THE ENTRANCE! I FELT LIKE I WAS GONNA HAVE ANOTHER STROKE FROM UNLOADING IT. While unloading the trailer I noticed so many empty units. My question is why??? Why did I get a unit so far away being disabled. This is discrimination towards disabled folks. All of the folks I had to deal with(except Hubbell) were rude and had no respect towards me the customer. I WILL NEVER RENT ANYTHING AGAIN! I'll make sure I let everyone know how I was treated. THE gentleman in Oklahoma who I stop to talk to about the issues I was having made me feel like I was stupid. Sorry I actually think I knew more then him. He asked me to pop my hood, I was like Hu. But I did pop it open only to see he didn't know how to unlatch it. He then left to go help someone else. So I got out after seeing he had no clue how too. So I opened it up. He finally came back and he pulled the dip stick and said yup oil is fine. I almost cried laughing. I said dude oil has NOTHING to do with this issue. Just because I was aady he thought I was stupid. My anger grew even higher. By the time I left there nothing was solved. It's time for your company to get up to date with equipment. There's campers lighter then the dead horses you rent. Disrespect for folks with Disabilities is against the law. Might want to have better training on this subject.

I was only planning on staying for 30 days so my storage was free. My condo closing got postponed so I needed to pay for seven days of storage. In order to get this paid, I was on the phone several different times for over four hours. I couldn't pay on-line because it couldn't "locate me account." I will never use U-Haul again.
