Absolutely nothing! This company is A+ for customer service. It starts as soon as you walk in the door . The counter customer rep (Aws) is super friendly (even at 7a.m.), super efficient as he completes all the paperwork and explains the contract. He asked a colleague to drive out the truck and load it with blankets, all which we preordered on line. We did a walk about, checked mileage and fuel gauge and then we were good to go! When returning the vehicle there was the same efficient, professional and personal staff there to assist. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend this U-Haul site to anyone wanting seamless and pleasant experience to what can be a stressful time. Tom and VernaThomas H.

This this location is the very bad location when it comes to your billing. They tried to bill me for over 150 $and then I told them it can it is not possible since I did not drive the truck this much the actual bill came up to 92 $which shows how much he was trying to overcharge me if I was not paying attention this is a really bad business practice and poor customer service or trademark of this location.Muhammad M.

We originally requested a 20ft truck but we're told less than 24 hours before that we had to choose between a 15 or 26 foot truck instead. The 26footer would not fit into the lot where we were moving so when I asked if we could get a mileage reduction because we would have been able to do one trip in the 20ft, I was told no because the 26ft was available.. not happy about something we couldn't control and being charged more for itBrayden Z.

The uhaul from Edmonton was a fantastic experience, although I would have appreciated a full tank of gas instead of 3/8's if a tank, we had to get gas immediately! Returning the truck to the Camrose lot, not so good an experience, we called at least 20 times leaving messages that were not returned, we decided to just drive out there and were fortunate to meet a uhaul employee that was there to set up a truck and trailer as the regular person was on vacation and we would not have been able to return the truck. One of the most important improvement is the reduce wait time for confirmed or prior online booking. Even though we have booked and come to pickup the vehicle customer has to wait upto 20 minutes before we can get to talk to an CSR. by the time we process the paperwork instore and hook up the trailer we have lost 45 - 50 minutes from our scheduled (requested) vehicle pickup time. Second improvement is calling the pickup location and speaking with an CSP agent is literally impossible. The lines are often busy and even if they pickup the call they will place the customer on hold for over 30 mins. This is a very frustrating experience to wait for enormously long time just to ask a simple question. I recommend value your customers time and answer them promptly.Ashish T.
.. the chains to attach to car one was broken when picked up they changed and the ratchets. For the wheel straps to anchor the car to the tow dolly were very corroded thin with rust and very difficult to release and very difficult to get to the upright position to release they've served their time I would expect better when it comes to something like a tow dolly. this is a safety concern.time to replace other than that the experience was great .also when I brought back the tow dolly early the staff were quick and decisive about what to do to get the dolly off the truck and get me underway again ThanksBrian T.
I rented a truck using self service pickup the time before this and it was a NIGHTMARE. SO SLOW, so clunky. THIS rental was a utility trailer using the service desk and they were super efficient, super helpful and speedy. A very positive experience - exactly what I have come to expect from this location. They are a 10/10 here and the reason why I keep coming back to you.Peter M.
truck hadnt been swept out, though a staff member offered to do so when he saw it needed it, without being asked. This made it a much more positive experience. The least positive part of the experience was absolutely the "self-pickup" process. The app was very slow, there were times when it seemed to hang for 5 minutes then it would catch up. I STILL had to go in to the office and get keys from staff anyway. I have rented four or five trucks or trailers from this location over many years and it was at LEAST twice as long to do the self pickup process, which makes NO sense. Why offer that if it isn't fast and simple? I will NOT be using self-service pickup anymore. (Self service drop off, on the other hand, is super simple and fast).Peter M.

This is a busy location and the staff are very expert and hard-working. There is an excellent selection of packing supplies on display and the pricing etc... are clearly visible. It was awesome! Our truck was mechanically great but the windshield was quite dirty inside and out. I'm not too fussy about how clean the inside of your trucks are, but a clean windshield is important for a safe trip. One other suggestion I would share is that the tank was half full when we received the truck. It is much easier for me as to work with a full tank. We can begin our journey with confidence knowing that we can travel a fair distance without having to stop to fuel up. And after our move is complete, we can easily fill the tank back to full vs. having to figure out how much fuel it will take to get it to half full. I think U-Haul is an excellent company and I will definitely recommend them to others and use them for our next move! :)Ian J.

They made sure the electrical connection worked for signalling and breaking on the trailer before I drove away. It didn't work on one of my vehicles, so I wasn't allowed to take the trailer until I returned with a vehicle with a good electrical connection. This took more time for me and them, but it made me feel like they valued safety over profit, and I applaude them for that!Richard W.

Unfortunately the trailer I rented was not available on my pickup time. Kirstyn phoned 3 people that were late returns and only 1 could return in 45 minutes. We reserved another unit at the west end location but I decided to wait. After about 1 hour another unit was dropped off and I took that one. So, after about 2 hours after arriving at U Haul I had my trailer. Kirstyn was so very, very polite and tried everything to help me. Refunded me 20,00 $ for my trouble and I thanked her. It would be exceptional service from U Haul if I got the 50,00 $ that they guarantee if your rental is not available at time of pickup. I looked into that and it appears to be too much of a hassle. The location was packed with people when I got there, but having my online reservation made it a fast process. I was in and out and gone with the truck in 2 minutes. Same thing when I got back. An agent went out of his way to close the rental within a few seconds of me pulling on site. I was truly impressed with the service level of that location. 5 stars all the way !! Get your instructions in order when you book someone. My confirmation email said to pick up 6am for self check-in. When I checkin the website says I can get it at ,7 when the location opens. So I loose an hour of my move on the hottest day of the year. Then when I flag down who I believe was the manager (who booked my reservation on the phone and said if I had problems to come find him) and explained my problem he just casually says system not online until 7 and walked away. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was beyond furious the way I was treated by this employee and the overall process.Jack B.
Its the end June. An extremely busy time for moving. There should have been more staff at front desk then 2. Waited over 45 minutes in 37Â°C weather to pick up prebooked van. You should have one or two designated for those that have already reservedMaureen A.
Here's the thing. Central scheduling (Winnipeg?) Was an ABSOLUTE nightmare. I booked my van TWENTY ONE (21) days in advance (ahead of schedule! Wow that's a long time)... The DAY of me picking up my van, they tell me the ONLY truck available is 1 hour and 30 minutes away... I live in Regina.. that's a well known city with over 200 000 people in it, not some small town. So I have to politely ask.. HOW in the HECK does that happen??? If I book AND PAY for a van TWENTY ONE days in advance, I expect that shit to have a bow on it and my name inscribed on the van when I go to pick it up at the location I selected TWENTY ONE DAYS PRIOR. You know??? This is a major flaw my guys. MAJOR. I TRULY hope someone with some wrinkles in their brain takes a look at this, and understands that this is a real problem. This should never happen. I should not have that wrench thrown at me the day prior to moving. I'm serious here folks... All joking aside this was incredibly unprofessional. The customer service rep I had just kept saying "There's nothing I can do". Not a goddam ounce of empathy came out of that person's mouth despite the absolute garbage situation I was now in because of their company, and I was extremely polite. Absolutely abysmal. Please. If their is just one wrinkle-brained person who can fix this... From the robot-like customer service rep who can't say anything besides the dog-written script in front of them, to the last minute scheduling to locations so far away from initial locations.. please fix this ASAP.SCOTT W.

Recieved hate mail each month The inability to do auto payment when getting storage was frustrating The space was locked to get to the unit. Each time a longgatted process Paying only a few months in advance rhrough the till seemed ridiculous Cash payment was also trouble. Preferred plastic because no cash till.
