I had to locate my rental, additionally I had to load my own rental equipment of pads and a furniture dolly. I found this to be unprofessional. In my previous rentals at other locations, everything was ready for me when I arrived. This is the purpose of making a reservation correct? This was not the case with this experience. I've rented a car hauler from this location at least 4 times and always had a great experience. The equipment is always ready on time and in great working condition. I will continue to rent from here in the future.William M.
Everything was great besides pricing. I was told it was 106 to rent it with taxes, 35miles, dolly, and premium insurance. Then I get billed for $170â€¦. That's about a 40 %increase from quote for no reason at all. Give accurate pricing.Garrett Evan L.

When we rented our trailer one way from WV to Florida we were charged $482,3!! We told them at that time that we would be gone 2 weeks and would be retuning with another trailer. When we returned from Florida, we were only charged $138,45! When we questioned the WV dealer upon return, we were told that was because WV didn't have the supply that Florida had and that we would have been better off renting for the full 2 weeks that we were gone. Then why weren't we informed of that by the WV dealer?!! He said he didn't realize we were only going for 2 weeks, but that's not true. He should have been more straight forward from the start!!fred C.

We stopped and put 10 dollars gas in right before returning. We were between 1/2 and 5/8. We need 5/8. We only traveled approximately 50 miles. We were charged 19 for gas there is no way it should've cost that much. Other than that they were friendly and helpful.Lafe M.

The only problem we had was with our account on your website. When I would log in to the UHaul website it would say I had no storage unit. We went to the UHaul office and the clerk went into his computer and said it was fixed but we still could not see our rental storage unit when we logged into the website online. This storage unit was in a law suit. From where uhaul cut the lock off of my unit and proceeded to let someone who was only an alternate contact. And had no access to my unit. I tried to get my stuff before this bill got so high. But was told by Austin Dorsey. That it was in a law suit and I could not get it. He lied to police over and over again. Stuff went missing and then some returned. But the funny thing is. I live in Colorado. So you tell me how that could have happened. This was my life and personal items. That u haul allowed this to happen. I have police reports and pictures from the incident.. And the sad thing about it . Austin Dorsey covered the crime up. And I have spent so much money renting from u haul. I would never recommend u haul to anyone. I will be posting my comments on u haul website. And I think this should be checked into again. Tyler Lemaster was awesome and extremely helpful. I first spoke with Tyler over the phone. I called to inquire about the climate control units available. He was very informative and knowledgeable. I went to the store about two hours later and he assisted me in store as well. He made the process easy and effortless. He also explained everything well and into detail, he pretty much answered all my questions before I had to ask. He was kind and provided an awesome guest experience. Upon leaving I felt cared for as a guest, and felt pleased and comfortable utilizing the facility. Would recommend this location and Tyler to family and friends. Thanks for the awesome guest experience as well as putting my mind at ease as far as leaving my possessions in this facility. Tyler deserves a raise. I asked for a 5 X 8 trailer. Was told none were available. Had to take a 6 X 12. It had a very worn tire. Asked for a better trailer which I didn't get. I had gone into facility on November 13, rented a 10x15. And reserved a truck for the 27th. The gentleman that waited on me was excellent. I did not start moving my belongings in until November 26th. My access card would not work. Going to front office they could not find my info plus the unit i had signed up for on the 13th had now been rented to someone else. There were no other 10x15 units available. Here i have people from out of state & a trailer full. The gentleman helped me get into a a 10' & 10 & 5x10 nxt to each other. So the day was saved. I had to take a retake pictures like five times, then end up having to enter the information in manually anyways. Had a very poor experience Had rented a truck (pick up was 11/13) and storage (starting 11/13) During Friday 11/12, I received an email stating that they did not have they truck size I had ordered and that the truck that could be provided had to be picked up 30mi away from where I had reserved it Cancelled my truck, and called the storage location just to be sure everything was ok. Was told that my 10x10 was there and that everything was perfect 11/14 went to the storage location and was told that 10x10 storages didn't exist there!!!!!! Live in Hurricane, came to St. Albans because it was the only one that had a pick up truck available. Set reservation and made it basically right at 9:31/9:32 Pick up was not ready, they seemed to not know where it was either. I had to settle for a van, it got the job done but not the way I preferred. If I was going to settle for a van, I would have just got one from the one local to me. Considering you charge per mile and I had to use gas to get there, I had wasted about $8/10. Also, I was told truck had 1/4 tank of gas, I didn't pay attention thinking that they would have their stuff correct, and I was in a hurry when I was leaving due to being there longer. But it had 1/8 a tank, but I had to return it with more gas than I picked it up with?? Not including it wasn't the cleanest.Preston M.

I have always had issues with this location, from them over charging me for my rental down to them giving me a dolly with broken ratchet straps that caused my vehicle to fall off and nearly caused fatalities. 1. I got a box left that was locked so they had to come and exchange. 2. My order said the guaranteed arrival at destination was 10/25/21. Each time I called when a notification came they said I had to wait until St. Albons notified me to give address. 3. I wasn't charged until 10'/21/21 for the transport. 4. When I signed in the box had been here since 10/13/21 5. Definitely tell customers when box arrives. I lived without my stuff for more than a week because of no notification.Margi A.

Website for this location needs to have Sunday hours fixed. Listed as being closed. I happened to drive by for another reason and found that they were open, so I went back to get the trailer for turn in. This delayed my unloading of the truck rented.WILLIAM N.

Let's see where to start, the general manager Patrick is a stoner, the lot was such a mess when I arrived that I couldn't fit my dually pickup anywhere to get turned around. Trailers and vans were strung all over the place, the other guy in there working his name was Tyler. Had pierceings inside of his piercings. Was bragging about night school and how he was banned from regular school. He was like one of those sketchy kids from high school that offered you cigarettes out behind the gym. But anyway. Your manager Patrick tried to make jokes about the truck I drove. Took me outside then was so useless that he just told me to figure it out. Since I barely had room to get my truck turned around. THEN proceeds to tell me I'm lying about renting the same type of trailer from there 2 months ago and takes me inside and pulls rental records to prove me wrong after insinuating I'm lying about it for some stupid reason. Then charged me the cash price instead of the card price and told me â€œmy bank must be prepaidâ€ and it wasn't and he just told me I was wrong. He was an absolutely incompetent manager. What do I think you could do? Clean it up there. Clean house. Drug test. Straighten the lot up. Got back to drop the trailer and there was a herd of guys smoking weed in the parking lot talking to the other ones that worked there. There was only one long haired guy doing his job and he was the one that checked in my return. I felt bad for the kid. It's honestly the most horribly ran piss poor uhaul that I've been to in my life. And I've been to a lot and even to that one before. And it was HORRIBLE. I bet they are running people away left and right. Business at that location would have to do nothing but fall on its face do to the negligence that goes on there.Travis York Ii N.

We ordered my trailer hitch. I made a trip down there to have it installed. There was no bolts. Said it would take about a week to get the boats in. About seven days later you guys had a re-order a new hitch with the bolts. After we got that done the installation was fine. The only thing I can say is we need to make sure we have all the parts before we call the customer.Butch A.

The reason I said I would not recommend this business is two reasons. Patrick was very nice. I also had an encounter with another worker. I asked him would it be trouble for me to rent a UHAUL truck on a different day and still get the first month free. He responded with "ya kinda" so I asked Patrick and he told me to get in touch with him and he would help me when I'm ready to rent a truck. My issue is the I have to be out of my other storage unit on the 9th and my apartment on the 30th. He was very understanding. The facility itself was very clean and security measures were impressive. The other thing that bothered me some is that the price of the unit said $129. Then when I went to pay it was $139 PLUS tax. I don't know why it was $139, it was not explained, instead of the $129, and I have never seen tax on a storage unit. It is short term so I just went with it and Patrick was actually really nice and helpful, the other was just kinda ok.jennifer m. | Premières impressions
