I arrived before the time of their closed with 7 minutes i know this my mistake. When I arrived there was one more customer ahead of me. When she was done dealing with the person in front of me she yelled at me that is was 5:02 and that i needed to do it myself. I was not rude or anything and do not appreciate being spoken to that way.

It would be great to upload pictures directly without comparing with previous ones. Like this we can compare the ones we took previous to driving the vehicles to when we drop it off. Also, I did not receive any email prior to my pick up time as a reminder or to check in.

Please note that my reservation for a 3PM pick up was automatically changed to 5PM without my knowledge and that the 15' vehicle was not available. Thanks to the 2 gentlemen at the Port Kells location, where I reserved, they promptly reserved the correct vehicle at another location across town. This being the King George location of the rental. This was a massive inconvenience but I would like to say that all the counter people involved at both locations were professionals through and through.

terrible location - i had to wash the windows - the 26 foor truck I reserved for the move was downgraded to 20 foot - they said "someone else had it reserved to them (WHAT?!) - while I picked up my 20 foot truck there was a 26 in the lot and they gave it to that person - said "they needed it" - I had to pay to get rid of items that wouldn't fit in the smaller truck - TERRIBLE - Then, the wipers made noise for the entire trip - the inside of the truck was dirty - this, BY FAR - was the WORST U-Haul experience I have EVER HAD - Customer service simply told me - over and over: "I apologize" - but that doesn't make up for the FACT that I had to leave home items I planned to take and then PAY to have it hauled off to the dump because U-Haul FAILED to give me what I RESERVED & PLANNED for - TERRIBLE LOCATION - worst experience ever with U-Haul EVER -

The van we rented was dirty upon pick up. We specifically asked what time the location closed so that we were there in time to drop off and not have to go through the self return process. The representative said 7:00 PM. We arrived at 6:45 PM attendant in the parking lot did not come to us, and when I went inside to let the attendant know we were there he said just go wait outside for the attendant Who never showed up. Went back inside and at that point it was now after seven and they said sorry you have to do it through the app very unprofessional.

Online return App caused us spend lots of time, system was hang but after we finished the return it was not send any email to notice us know it completed. It is better if the system notice us the return success or not, then we know how it is. Thanks

Had an 8am 4 rental. Online check in took 25 minutes, then when we finally got the truck keys, we discover the dolly and 3 dozen blankets were not loaded in the back. Location didn't open until 9, had to wait for staff who took 15 minutes to then provide the dolly (which was not the model we rented in advance), and best of all... EVERY SINGLE BLANKET WAS WET AND DAMP. Completely unusable on our furniture. Wasted over an hour for soggy blankets.

Incredibly stupid long wait time in the am. Had to wait almost an hour and a half in line to get to the counter. Even with a reservation and online check in completed. Highly understaffed. Would not recommend this location.

I just felt that I was charged more than I thought it would be. $182 for 42 miles. I reserved a 1 way trip over a month ago with pick up in Surrey and drop off in Aldergrove near my new address. I phoned a few days before my move to confirm everything is good and I was told that I can't do a 1 way trip and I would need to return the van back to the same surrey location. I'm sure it would have been cheaper for me to just book that in the first place. The van was great and the staff were great. I was nice and made sure I put in extra gas. I was back in 6 hours.

I booked my truck for 10 a.m and reached around 9:45 a.m. There was huge lineup and i got my truck at 11 a.m. there is no point to book and still waiting in line for hour. I had really bad experience.

The price was reasonable and that is why we moved our stuff to this storage facility. But we are so disappointed due to access hours and also due to rat infestation. The rat infestation was the main reason why we moved out of this facility. All of our boxes had rat feces and droppings(poop) on it or the boxes were chewed up. I would not recommend this place due to the rat infestation as it is a health hazard.

Staff make the difference! Everyone there was great, even the older grumpy guy that works outside, and they are the ones who make the Uhaul experience excellent! Facilities are clean and well managed. I will definitely recommend it and be back myself.

Terrible parking for customers accessing their unit, requiring you to park down the street and move loads of items in and out. The slope down from the sliding doors is difficult to manage with a fully loaded cart. Our unit was invaded by mice that chewed through the foam rear wall. Not sure why there was no plywood for a back wall. The staff were helpful but I was fairly unhappy with the facility overall.

This appears to be a rodent infested storage facility; even on the third floor. They coerce customers to buy and use UHAUL padlocks; otherwise you cannot rent storage. They are redefining the free market system for which Canadians hold so dearly. Even the manager, tells me that, I rent at my own risk; if there be any rodent infestation of my storage unit. All caught on video tape.

I had to throw around $2000 of my belongings since it was destroyed by rat's. In the boxes and all around there have been rat feces, After I removed my boxes feces all around the floor. This is a huge health issue and should be reported to public health Canada.

I've read about storages free first month or a dollar but my experience with U-Haul Surrey, King George after 108 Avenue was worth recommending not just to my relatives and friends but for all those who know/s me, the facility are secure, clean, shining floors always, motion lighting, conveniently accessible during and after office hours...most especially the knowledgeable helping hands of their friendly manager and staff, thank you is not enough for their efforts and excellent service I've experienced.

The manager rips people off with extra charges. I was being charged $100 per month for late fees and then charged a $50 lien fee all within 30 days of late payment. Thats not even after 30days late, it is within 30 days. You should never have to pay half your rent in late fees. This owner us making a lot of money charging this to customers. I want revenue Canada to look into this income that I am sure he pockets. Also, the manager was very rude and sent threatening messages after I complained to the district manager. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. GO ELSEWHERE

The staff at this location have been a GREAT pleasure to deal wit, over the last year and a half. Very pleasant, happy, as well with a sense of humour. It has been a great experience, storing my belongings in the unit, at this location. I'm sure to stop by, occasionally, just to say Hello.

The UHAUL location on 84th Ave and King George messed up my storage reservation so I ended up at this location because it had a locker the size I needed. 3 other families were moving in at the same time, while one party was using all 3 carts and monopolizing the elevator. We complained to the front staff and finally were able to get to a cart. 1 elevator is no acceptable for a storage this size it was complete chaos. Once up to my locker another tenant had stuff all down the hallway. I cant wait to get my items out of this location. Even waiting to be processed the space is small and there as a line up of 5 people ahead of me. Im not happy with the service I received from UHAUL (either of the location).

Staff accommodated my needs and were quick to respond to most inquiries via email. I have to say the staff don't get enough credit, I mean the amount of crap they get from customers seems to go unnoticed by most... that being said, staff should not take other customers crap and pass it to the next... long story short, I can't give thanks to the extremely salty female csr (who knows why she is the way she is ), but BIG THANKS to the GM and AGM 

Every time I went to load/ unload my car your workers would block me in or park stupidly close to my car the last time I was there they double parked a truck for no reason there was 5 other stalls but wanted to park close to my car than help other clients in the office with booking trucks and taking payments but when I go inside to pay for the month they can't help me at all over all this was a really bad experience and will never come back. I would rather spend my money elsewhere

Why is it that I was able I reserve a storage unit online and had everything setup ready for a specific move-in date only to learn from the location staff that my reservation is not guaranteed and it's still first come-first serve basis which made me panic to rush down to the location to pay-in advanced just to hold my unit ahead of the date that I actually need to start the rental on. It feels very much like I got scammed.

When I first opened the storage their was a transition in management. The alarm system was due for an upgrade it kept going off after hours even when i had 24h access. The management seems to change over often doesn't make U-Haul look very good to us renters. Upon me moving out i purchased boxes I had to park near King George as the workers had all their trucks parked In front of the main doors and visitor parking. I was struggling carrying the boxes out to my car and the 2 employee's standing talking one on their phone in front of the door backed out of my way rather than offering to help me. Then on moving out day again the trucks were parked in front of the loading doors. I asked if he could move the truck he said no not really and their was 3 empty spots for the truck. Over all U-Haul would be a great company if the staff was trained better and monitored.

i lost my keys and was told i could gain access to the locker myself by bolt cutters, grinder or locksmith. i had tools so i chose that option. ended up causing a little damage to the door and they charged me almost 1 000 to replace the door and did not accept any responsibility for the employee that told me i was able to cut the lock myself by sharing the cost of the replacement or anything. they are extremely rude men that work there and have horrible customer service and people skills.

The facility was maintained and clean however parking there was absolutely horrendous. They had way too many trucks parking around with rarely any parking spots open for our regular cars when we needed something from our storage units. Upon move out tbe staff was absolutely terrible and rude. We had 4 storage months for about a year paying over $400 a month for the units and when we went to move out the staff kept being rude to us because we we had our truck parked in front so we could load. Obviously moving out 4 units takes time. They kept rushing our moving guys and kept being rude during the entire process. Very poor customer service there.

When I called team didn't seem to communicate with each other. Upon arrival team wakes around aimless didn't greet anyone 5 customers waiting in line. I had to ask your team to open till twice.

My overall experience with U-Haul Langley and Head Office was horrible as they took my reservation on moving day but had given the unit away by the time I arrived with my goods, but Surrey was great.

UHaul has e-mailed me to ask me to comment on Ubox service in Surrey, B.C. I have never had a UBox there. I never booked any UHaul service in Surrey, B.C. UHaul online system is broken. Don't trust it
