I was harassed each time getting out of my car so I would try and limit the people who loiter in the parking lot. Also the back of our truck had nasty brown stuff all over the floor and the inside of the truck smelled of cigarettes.

During this time of Coronavirus, I do not believe my Uhaul was cleaned and sanitized as promised in your new message. I know this act might take a little extra time for your staff, but it is absolutely essential it is followed for the safety of your staff and customers.

Everyone at this location was so friendly, even when the facility was closed, an employee came over as he was walking to his car to ask if we needed any help. Probably the best Uhaul experience we've had.

Employee at location first forgot rental equipment sono had to go back to get it i then asked if the height would be an issue during my trip they said No until I reached a 9ft bridge and caused a huge traffic jam. Moving sucks and renting from you guys was not a healthy experience

usually I have a very very good experience at that location they are pleasant and helpful,I don’t know for reason when I when there last time it was all new peaple that I haven see before they where so comfortable and even forget about what they where there for , one African American female and one male African American when they first call me I told them to give me a minute because I was checking the price before get to them to avoid any confusion. After that I appreciate them and ignore me for 2-3 I was in rushed because i have a exam to toke So I asked her to please give a favor to be a little bit faster and they both respond me aggressively that can’t and start a rguing with me , and I let them know that I don’t want to argue with them just the problem I’m in ruched and still doing something so I had to stopped talking so toke all there time , if didn’t stopped talking they were ready to fait with because man said that . The only reason of my feedback is to let U-Haul know to not just have employees but to have employees who care about business and treat customers like family thanks.

The location was clean. The truck was not. We drop the truck off and called back within a few hours and was told that the truck already. I found this very concerning because the truck should be thoroughly cleaned because the current health situation in the country

Truck was not well maintained. It broke in the middle of trip then we had to wait 4 hours to get a road assistance. In the meantime we had to called extra man power to transfer asset from U-haul to another rental in order to accomplish our goal. The service was not good at all, I am not happy! Bad truck. The fuel tank got problems. I find out the issue the day of my travel. By that time everything was loaded to the truck and hard to unload again. All the office did was to send somebody with me to the gas station and he confirmed that there was an issue with the fuel tank. He literally said "It is good we are able to fuel it, it least we did the job". then I have to refuel it again and again and every time that cost me at least 5 dollars more because of the spilled fuel. I wasted a lot of money on fuel spilled out of the tank. I expected that you guys have to check on your trucks before renting them to customers.

truck was not on site for after hours pick up. cust service hold time was 48 minutes. had to go back to location at 7am the following morning. exactly what i did not want to do, which is why i reserved the truck for the night before. very disruptive to my schedule.

Costumer service is a joke! I am charged for gas when I returned truck same fuel level I rented it. Convenient staff wont look at pictures I took before and after I rented the truck as proof Truck was left with same fuel level! Overcharged! Charged for 2 days rental when the truck was only reserved for 9 hours!

The location was clean, well organized, and mostly easy to navigate. The customer service representatives were helpful and knowledgable. One downside wast the racks of items for sale blocking the view of the customer service representatives made checkout feel confusing (waiting in line you can't see if someone is being served or if the register is open) and as if they don't want customers to know what is going on. It is most definitely not welcoming.

The owner Alfonzo did not know his prices. Charged me $102 and when another employee informed of a refund and mistake in billing, he disregarded it. Now I have had to call customer service and finally get a refund. Terrible management.

I discussed my nees and wanted the truck door to be 7-8' wide to load 2 windows that are 74" wide and tall. I discussed it with the rep and he assured me that it was. I went to load the truck with a hired helper only to fi d out it was not. So, I could not accomplish my need and wasted 5 hrs and a helper and had to pay someone $ 200. Your staff were supposed to know their equipment. I was not happy. Appreciated the discount. Thanks for allowing me to comment on your quality

The alignment on the vehicle was terrible. Both front wheels were toed in. I didn't realize this until we reached the Beltway the next morning. We did not have time to return to Uhaul. The truck was loaded, and we were on a tight schedule. Thankfully the 3 day drive was fine, and the weather was ideal. The truck was very twitchy at highway speeds.

Mechanically, some of the larger trucks need to be better maintained. I had to bring back a truck in exchange for another one, because there was a problem with the steering, plus the Check Engine light was on.

The office inside and the personnel staff were great. The only concern I have, the many non-UHaul personnel persons walking up to my car as I enter the lot, asking for work. Then some followed us to where we parked to go in the office, asking for work.

This is the worst Uhaul location I have ever visited located in the ghetto. The truck was given to us with 15 miles to empty. A $22 gas credit doesnt come near to making up for the fact that we had to try and find gas in the sketchy neighborhood with the huge truck. We have never been so frustrated with a check in process - took her 20 minutes to just check us in without anyone else there. The vehicle was absolutely filthy, coffee spilled in the cup holder the window was left open overnight in the rain, oil smeared on the window, smelled of air freshened garbage. It was literally a nightmare. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Overall terrible experience. Overcharged for mileage use, daily use, and that SafeMove insurance. Truck was dirty in the seating area and in the back storage area. I rented the truck on a Sunday and brung back the same day AND still was receiving calls the following Monday and Tuesday on when I would be bringing the truck back. Still dealing with corporate to get my money back because they said I went more miles than I actually did. Still waiting for pending charges to come off my bank account. Don't use this Takoma Park location. I have been using U-Haul for over 15 years and never dealt with an issue like this.

Manager was very helpful when I had misplaced the key to the vehicle when moving, he was very helpful on getting a replacement and providing us with another key until the other was found. Greatly appreciate his services and management skills cause this eased the stress when moving is already stressful along. Thanks!

I brought in a Nissan Rogue to be fitted for a 6 x 12 trailer, and it fit but the lighting was having an issue. Jonathan White diagnosed the issue really quickly as a faulty converter in the wiring. Uhaul installed my hitch frame and wiring 2 years prior in Orlando and he took a half hour out of his busy schedule (it was 8:30 am and he had an appt at 9am) to work on the wiring for me. Apparently the initial installation was fed through the battery and the wire wasn't strung tightly under the car and had worn to the point that the converter was faulty. So he redid the wiring and fed it through the tail lights instead. The wiring then worked correctly, and he didn't charge me anything for the labor since it was due to previous uhaul fault. He was a professional.

Checkout Lines were too long almost 30 minutes. Truck given me was box in couldn't get out had to wait for another 10 to swatch trucks. But the worst part was the receiving staff when I returned the truck. Very discourteous because I ask if payment could be may to a different card. Frequent renter at other locations. This was horrendous.

I took the extra time to make my reservation on the internet so that I could do a "mobile" pickup, but when I arrived at the location I was forced to stand in line and had to redo all of the same steps again. Despite going through the rental process a second time in-person, your agent had the temerity to say that maybe it was my phone or me that was the problem. Not exactly the best way to sympathize with an irritated customer.
