Further than the location on Washington between 112th and 104th but no comparison. Washington street has practically no service, staff uninformed, trucks are dirty and options limited.

Logistics is still slow. Still treat customers like in the 80's with long paperwork. Just need an agreed button to push and get customers out of there within 5 minutes. Maybe have a few self serve kiosk. Only one human rep to oversee kiosk issues or questions.

The first lady that I talked to to place a rental was rude and seemed othered and upset that I was there. I told her the time I needed the truck and she gave me a box truck not a bed truck like i asked, she huffed and corrected it. went to pick up the next day in the morning and was told grumpily by a new person the truck i rented was for afternoon. said to cancel it then and id find somewhere who can listen and help me. Only then did he call his manager to figure something out. I was able to get the truck I needed but only after dealing with rude employees that didn't seem to want me there at all. 0 star for customer service. 5 star for truck being in good working order and very clean.

Light cover hanging loose in cargo area of truck. The associate could not provide a hard copy of my contact when I picked the truck up or my receipt when I returned the truck. Said printer was broken. What kind of business doesn't have backups for equipment that they use every day? Associate didn't want to check the truck in upon return due to printer being down. I had to demand that he check it in so that I would know what the final charge was for the truck. Overall I got really poor service.

The drivers who dropped off and picked up the container were great, although the drop off time was hours later than scheduled with no consideration for my time schedule. My container also had mice dropping and the phone rep(I believe Shuna was her name) had the nerve to ask me to sweep out the container and make sure to fold the blankets. Paul was amazing. My car battery died right after I dropped of my vehicle to get a new hitch installed (because of course it did) and Paul boosted it so I didn't have to tow it to the shop. The hitch install itself was clean and really well done. A+++++ service, all the way around!

Definitely be specific on how the billing willing work. You promote 30$ rented a uhaul plus a dollar something a mile I was assuming I would use $100 no more than $130 yesterday but I was wrong.

It seems your company has a real communication break down between the local stores and the national customer service workers. First and foremost on your website I was able to choose 2 very close options for packing and unpacking my box. The day before I was supposed to pack I was called and told the location changed to a spot further from my house. This was very inconvenient, so I had to pay more money to have it delivered to my house to pack up. I think this is the actual definition of a bait and switch. Same happened when my box was delivered. I was never notified it was in CA and when I tracked it down I was told that I would need to come unload it at a spot 17 miles from my house. Again, not what I chose originally and not convenient at all. Several times I was told someone would be calling me with an update, no one ever called me, I had to keep calling. Local stores would tell me the information I was getting from the national phone number was not correct. THIS WAS SO ANNOYING. I will not recommend your company for moving nor will I ever use you again. I also think you should refund me the $150 for having to have it delivered to my house for packing since your website is not up to date with actual stores that can house the boxes.

The truck was clean but had a mechanical issue. During driving the cruise control failed while simultaneously throwing codes for the ABS system as well as the electronic stability control. While in that state, hill start assist also does not work. Additionally a reverse light was inoperable. This occurred every time the truck was started, I'd drive for 30 minutes and it failed. The staff was helpful in that they helped me avoid penalties for mileage overage, but that was caused by dispatch seeing as neither the truck nor the car hauler were at the actual location that was supposed to complete the reservation. So yes, the local staff was helpful, but they shouldn't have had to be since it was dispatch that had me driving all over the fkng north Denver area for an extra couple of hours instead of loading up. Also third question is NA because if a real friend asked, I'd tell them to go to the location closest to them, because that makes the most sense.

Terrible employee, check the surveillance cameras from 3:00 to 3:15. Individuals like this shouldn't work with people at all; it's just rude behavior. The office worker rudely cut me off on the road, violating traffic rules - disgusting behavior.

They charge me for gas I don't use, they charge me for mileage I don't use, but th3y say they will reimburse the money for the gas in 35 to 70 day... Maybe.

Last time I rented from U-haul was probably close to 20 years ago and things have improved significantly since the last time I used these services. :) Everyone was great including fixing a mistake on my end which could have made for a difficult day.

I was over charged for mileage i used 122 miles and they said i 157; the gas tank was filled before i returned the truck but they claimed it was 1/8 under charging me $18. Therefore I was charged for 35 miles I did not drive plus the $18 fuel charge for a total of $45,65 and what can I( do about it? Nothing something always happens when i use Uhaul and i always promise to never use it again. This is the last time I use Uhaul

When I rented a truck and trailer recently, the drop off location was unilaterally changed after the fact by U-Haul to one that was very inconvenient. When I spoke to the technician on the phone, he pled ignorance and said there's nothing he can do. Changing the drop off location made moving very much more difficult and I do not appreciate uhaul doing this.

hardly any gas , windshield wiper not working, returned truck with about 1/4 tank more gas than originally had oh well extra bucks for uhaul. make customers walk halfway around building instead of using the convenient "employers only " entrance. employees suck look, act like they are doing customer a big f ing favor . super sucks never again

Rented a 15' to Deliver Product to a Customer. First Van's back door would not go up or down. Had to return it for another Van. Lost 1-1/2 hours in the medley. Second Van had no windshield fluid in the reservoir. Windows were dirty from sitting in the open.

We had a horrible experience, when we got to this location they gave us a truck with no gas in it so he switched it out to a different one and didn't change the paperwork. We had estimated 50 miles to be safe but only drove 22 miles and got charged for the 50 miles anyway because the guy working didn't do the paperwork appropriately and didn't write down the starting milage so estimated based on the return miles. When I called the store about this they told me because we didn't take a picture of the starting miles and the ending milage matched what was wrote down they couldn't do anything. How is my responsibility to take a picture of something your employee should have done before handing over the keys. Uhaul has been awful and I won't be using them or recommending them again.

Listen to the customer. It took me 3 different times to get a ubox to be delivered to my house. Then when it arrived in Chattanooga TN. It was supposed to be picked up by a service to be delivered and unloaded at my home. It was actually set up to be unloaded in Chattanooga. This was the worst experience with Uhaul I have ever had.

The online/mobile check-in is a hassle. In the end had to switch to bigger truck, the young man at the desk made so easy. Insanely easy. It was a "yes! We can handle that!" And it got handled. I was amazed by the great customer service I received.

Trailer was there on time. Door was open and had a snowdrift in it and it was dirty. One blanket short in a bundle.. my bad for being in a hurry.. Make sure you check everything and record it if it's not working (clearance / tail lights..)

The truck still had stuff in the bed when I picked it up, no one came out to check the truck when I dropped it off, I was charged 55 miles for a 20 mile trip, I over filled the gas and was charged 2 gals. Something ain't right.

When I called to make reservations I asked the rep several times if I rented the truck at this location would it qualify for the free month of storage and he assured me that it did when I showed up to pick up the truck guess what I was advised that I would have to pay full price for the storage and there wasn't even a storage reserved for me classic bait and switch we were in a pinch so I had no choice but to pay the money I believe Parker was the reps name on the phone so this is why I wouldn't recommend I have used U-Haul truck rental and storage several times in the past but will be using different truck rental and storage on my next move beware of the bait and switch

I was a little disappointed to discover that for around a year, my unit wasn't behind locked gates. I thought I was paying for secure storage. Your staff is great though and I would still use you again - just a unit behind the security fence.

My first time having a storage and it couldn't have been worse. The gate key didn't work for me and had to be re-entered multiple times in the computer only to be told later that there was an IT issue. Then the staff screwed up with my unit and assigned me one that had a customer already occupied. I was then re-assigned to another unit by this incompetent staff member that had some paint supplies in there already which I thought nothing of it so I moved all my stuff inside. I was then told the next day that because it was not empty, I would have to be re-assigned another unit for the third time and the best part was that I would not be getting any help to move these heavy items. The manager and I had a screaming match about this only to be told that it had already happened and nothing else can be done. So I had to move all my heavy stuff by myself to a unit that was finally checked to be empty. I was then charged for the time that was in the second unit as well instead of when the third unit started. The staff was terrible and the manager didn't do his job. I was glad to have moved out from this place. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would.

The gentleman Brandon that helped hates his job and may need to find a different one. He had complete attitude from the moment we walked in the door and was upset he had to work. He looked like he just woke up hadn't combed his hair and smelt bad. There was a Hispanic gentleman that tried to be helpful but Brandon was mean to him as well.

We had an old van in storage through U-Haul for over 15 years. We had to move it from one location to another in the middle of that time. We are out of state so it was a huge inconvenience for us. We really didn't get any help from anyone at U-Haul. We were sending monthly payments through the mail for most of that time and fairly often, it got lost somewhere along the way and were charged late fees that mostly got waived when we would call to tell the managers that we'd sent payment, but still had to resend the fee which was a hardship for us. Finally, we decided to pay electronically so to put an end to that nonsense. Now at the end, we were notified about a month before that it needed to be removed again permanently and again received no help from anyone at U-Haul. We were unable to go to Colorado from California this time and so lost the van completely, after paying all these years to store it. We're very angry about this, but there's now nothing we can do. We really would have appreciated more assistance in finding a towing company and another storage facility and getting it done without us having to physically be there, but I guess that just wasn't possible from U-Haul. I don't think we will ever use U-Haul ever again for anything.

When I reported that my unit was broken into, staff didn't help or explain on what to do. I filed a claim with the person at the reception, but he didn't explain on what to do next. I also checked all the storage facilities around me and no other locks were cut open. I guarantee that the person working here on May 28th has something to do with this break in. He put as all the way in the back for a reason where there are no cameras.

The unit leaked water. The gate was moved so close to the unit and the pin pad was put to close to my unit so I was unable to park infront of mine due to people needing to punch the gate code and also allowed people to look in my unit Witch made me uncomfortable that someone could rob me and the gate was not always working and that allowed anybody to come and go.

The storage had stains on the wall and there was no lights inside when I needed to access my unit at night. They also confused my storage unit with someone else's. They had canceled the other persons storage and did mine by accident, and in doing so they had to change my pay day since they had to reapply me for my unit. They kept raising the prices on me about every few months. Over all the storage was alright but there was a lot that could have been worked on.

My RV was broken into 4 different times. The cameras that were on the premises were blocked by semi trucks so basically they didn't work. UHaul did nothing about it. They said sorry about that. But 4 times in 3 months is not right. Now they are putting up a better fence and cameras. That won't pay for the stolen items. I am going to have a post on social media to let everyone I know not to patronage UHaul

The hours to get into storage ith a remote for 24 hour access was a bit pressing on time for me. I could not afford th remote so I hd to clear out the storage in a rushed manner because of thelimited time available after work. Other then that everything was fantastic.

Everything was great until we moved out. We found out the storage until must have had some leaks so some of our stuff was water damaged. It wasn't anything of high value but kind of ruins the valve of storage when you pull your thing out of storage and they are damaged. Also the light in the storage unit did not work. Not a major deal A also but for $150 a month you would expect a dry well let place. Great place to store your stuff but just make sure you don't need to go at night and that your stuff is not irreplaceable or too expensive.

Our 26 ft rental truck broke down on our way to U-Haul Moving & Storage Of The Mile High City. When we got towed there, everyone was very understanding of our situation and helped us come up with a plan that worked for us. We were able to move all of our items from the rental truck into one of their storage units with no problems. It was a very good experience after a lot of hassle with the truck breaking down.

U-Haul as a company has many problems. Trying to do anything online seems impossible. To bad they are the only game in town. Not a completely bad experience but a long way from good.

Due to work schedule we had to pay for 24 hour access. That was unexpected. When we retuned with our 1st load several hours after completing paperwork we were buzzed in by a worker. But ultimately locked in the gates as our code had not yet been input into the system. It took yelling, honking and waving before a retail person came to see what the matter was. Glad it wasn't 'after hours'

The managers accused me of sleeping in my unit which I was not doing. They locked my unit even though my bill was current . They shut off my gate key. Were rude and didnt let me speak. Evicted me!

Overcharged $66,85 twice (2 times) for storage I did not use. Boxes delivered to Windsor on Aug. 24 and picked up on Aug 25. $137,44 was charged for delivery which is fine. Need refund please.
