Jeff and Ms B were wonderful. I had rented from Enterprise in OH and they gave me a hard time abt not having a major credit card because I had a Michigan DL (and was moving to OH where I had the reservation for 3 weeks). They got me sorted and were so nice and personable. They made an extremely-stressful situation a breeze to deal with and I got my move and my drive from OH-MI-OH within 12 hrs went great, considering. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with both of them and I cannot tell you how much better they made one of the biggest pains in the butt so much easier. Thank you thank you thank you!

The uhaul seemed to struggle on the highway going between 20-50 mph, the truck doors had old water in them that splashed on my friend and I during that cold snap yesterday. Also we were told the wrong truck to get into and that also had water in it, more in fact... which also splashed on us. Was a bit irritating. Also the app and online website wouldnt work when I'd try to upload pictures of the water in the doors and also enter in the milage so now because of that I may get stuck paying for 50 miles when I didnt travel anywhere near that. So overall not the best experience.

It seems every time I visit this location there is a problem. On my most recent visit I was told there would be a 50 mile minimum deposit to rent a truck. Also this is a location rule and not a U-Haul rule. So U-Haul did not relay this information to me on the phone because they do not know about it . What? So I had to re-book my reservation on the app to avoid this fee. Another waste of time I could have avoided. Again, EVER TIME I visit this location there is an issue with information between U-Haul and this particular locations rules. I will try to rent from another location moving forward, just an in inconvenience as this is closest to my home.

First..as I'm waiting to get a staff the Store Manger is irritated with whosever on the call..cussing..no patience..second I would still be there (glad I'm not) if y'all had worked a little bit more with me..I've talk to you guys every month and explain about my heart disease and has been hospitalized multiple times..I gotta work to get money..then I was on the phone with my wife and kid and this person said they had til 8 to get the stuff out..notes I was told 48 hours meaning I had until Saturday at 145 for it to be 48..not including the hours yall close vs when I got there I could go in 24hrs. The manger likes to talk to your stupid why I don't know..the keys I had for it was the wrong ones and asked them about getting it off and they said 50 to cut it off….huh.. I just gave yall what I had to pay to get out in 48hrs…we've had that unit since 2021..after 8 hrs we got the lock off..98 % of the reason we got AN ONSIDE CONTROL UNIT SO MY STUFF I PAID AND WORKED HARD FOR SAFE…..MOLD. SO MUCH MOLD….inside and out..clothes in totes molded..I understand as a business swing how I am a supervisor also that it needed to be paid and I told them I have and she said..the only option I had was to pay 155 and out per her in 24hrs, then Jeff so no because of the size we had that we had 48 hrs..I did my very best not to show and I didn't but that didn't stop you store manager and how to treat and talk to people should be his next training. Some businesses just need to be aware people have bad health and some it gets hard for a few..almost 4 years at this property to get treated and talked to like crap..things I now have to replace because your "Controlled Units" are azz!!! You couldn't give me two weeks to get the other half when I got paid to now I gotta spend more money then what I owed you to replace all my stuff..I'll never NEVER use U Haul again. Period!!!

They were difficult to get a hold of on the phone. I was supposed to get a confirmation from the store my boxes were ready for pickup. after 24 hours I went to the store, and my boxes were loaded no issue. The second day I came in and told the staff I'm ready to get my second box and was responded with lough heavy sighs from both people at the counter. The older gentleman the first day and the warehouse operator were both awesome and professional. However, I overall would not recommend this location to friends or family because of the rough neighborhood, the way the staff responded to me on the second day, and the difficulty reaching somebody in the store. Unfortunately this was the only store in the Dayton area that would take Ubox shipments, otherwise I would not use this location again. Because of this, I will probably not utilize this store for my next move.

The worker was absolutely AMAZING this rating has 0 to do with him. SHAME ON YOU U-HAUL, that man was in there busting his butt for your company on his day off AFTER pulling a 14 hour shift the day before. We were directed by U-Haul to pick up our truck at another location. The location was a filthy dump and also did not have the supplies we ordered. The operator handed us the key to the truck and as soon as we walked outside, they got in their vehicle and left. As soon as we started the truck, we found that the catalytic converter was missing. Went to another U-Haul location and they sent us to the Trotwood U-Haul store several miles away. When I got there everyone was more interested in eating lunch than helping. Was told to call roadside assistance. After 30 minutes with them was told that the U-Haul store needed to replace the truck. One individual (manager?) finally helped us and got the truck replaced. This whole issue made us about 2 hours late to our destination. Because of the farther away location from original, we ran out of miles before we could get the truck returned. Had to make several phone calls to return to a different location. U-Haul really needs to inspect their renting locations. It was a terrible experience.

Steven is rude and disrespectful to this customer. He cancelled my truck reservation in my face because I disputed having to pay for both the truck and the storage room. That's what I was quoted when I made the phone reservation. He said "are you going to accept the charges and sign or what?" When I said I disagreed he hit the cancel button and told me to have a good day. I called corporate and left 2msgs but haven't heard back yet. I went back and cancelled my storage as well. He also told me it was mandatory for me to buy the round lock.

There is Something terribly wrong at this facility. It appears that this store absolutely does not have enough staff. How does your busiest location not have enough staff. People were walking out! Absolutely disgusted. I returned my truck and was first in line. I needed to rent a storage facility was asked to do it when rented my truck, was told I had to do it when I returned my truck. The facility was very clean, however, all of my items had mold on them. I'm not sure if the ventilation system worked or not, but every one of my items, King size bedding, furniture, leather couch had mold spores on them at the time of move-out. I made the personnel aware of this problem. The building is an old Wal-Mart Building. My things stored will have to be replaced. Items in rubber tubs and totes, were fine

The space is very expensive for the size. I'm looking to move it out before my next billing cycle because of the cost and inconvenience of access. The staff member (white female) was condescending and spoke to me as I'd I was beneath her. She lied about the ability to rent a truck without certain qualifications. I later learned that the stipulations weren't supported by the company. I'd never go to this location again due to HER customer service.

While the faculty was nice and secure, the staffing was to be desired. The morning staff was very helpful and upbeat, HOWEVER, the afternoon staff was not. They were rude, and not helpful at all. The head person stopped to take a smoke break while there was 5 people waiting in line. He also did not what he was talking about when it came to the storage unit

Both bathrooms were filthy even severs hours after you had staff there. I got there at 6:30 and was having trouble with my entry card and the man would not even acknowledge me until 7 am then was cursing at the equipment in front of me. When I emptied my container and left there were 4 people total there and the bathroom was still a mess. I had just road the greyhound there to get the stuff and honestly the bathrooms were nastier then greyhound and truthfully there isn't much lower then greyhound bathrooms. Sorry but being honest.

When I first rented a unit it wasn't the size I wanted and there was misunderstanding about the unit . So I will up getting 2 units instead of 1 the misunderstanding was not my fault it was there's. Then some of my money was taking out of my account didn't have a clue where it was going. Find out U-HAUL was talking money out of my account they call it auto pay. Didn't know this because when you take money from anybody account u r supposed to let them know that payment has been made from your account And Thank You for your payment. I didn't get no thank you for your payment no anything it took me 2 days to find out where my money went to. That's not how you handle business with customers at all. But I thank U-HAUL and they need to work on how they take money from accounts and let customers know they did so it wouldn't be no misunderstood That's all I'm saying

The kiosk to get in that you swipe is not to my satisfaction because my card did not work on several occasions and I do not like to have to go to the office the convenience of having the car to get in is what's most important that needs to be addressed in a way that's what you're paying for you have access to again that's very important

My storage unit had a leak and I had chase the manager for a week just for him to do an inspection. Once I moved all my stuff out and took my lock off the put a zip tie on my unit before I could cancel. So I was paying but didn't have access to the unit.

The owner was very rude. We moved out of our unit so I came in to cancel the unit most things that you don't use a full month for companies prorate that he failed to mention any event to me went out to check the unit came back in then I ask him about the prorating since they just drafted my account on the ninth and the move out date was the 18th he said sorry we don't prorate anything so I proceeded to tell him not to cancel it then I wasn't gonna lose $100That we would keep it until the following month he pulled a paper out of the printer laid it on the desk and said sorry I've already checked you out that's pretty crappy of a business that you can't Prorate something that someone is not using

I payed for my storage by automatic payment 1 week before my move to my new house. When I requested a credit back they said no. I also rented a uhaul so I can clear my storage locker, I was given a broken vehicle. If "I was not persuaded to buy the 14 dollar vehicle coverage I would have had to pay for someone else damages on the vehicle. With my own eyes I saw uhaul charge a lady two times for storage yesterday. It is not right to steal and uhaul stole, that's why I will not recommend this to anyone.

My name had been entered into system incorrectly. Everytime I went in to pay it took 15 to 20 min just to find my account. Twice I was double charged a late fee and was told sorry that's just how the system calculates. I feel that this was the poorest choice I could have made for storage. I would have been better off hiding my stuff in an abandoned basement.

I will never use this specific uhaul location ever again. I am disgusted with how they handled my situation knowing they were in the wrong. I spoke with over 10 people in regards to my situation and they still railroaded me with fees that weren't valid because they can do what they choose. I will continue to share my experience with anyone who asks just to make sure they steer clear of this facility and the crappy operating system. Beyond inconvenient and then they hold you accountable. I'm glad I'll never deal with these people again!! Good riddance!!

Very clean facilities. The only complaint is the lack of lighting and motion sensors in our area. The nearest sensor was not pointed out by staff upon the initial inspection of our unit but we figured it out later. I would have assumed motion sensors would be on each main aisle to turn on lights as you walk towards back of the facility. I am very impressed with your facility and staff and love that you have repurposed a business for Trotwood. Great job!

I had an awesome experience at your newer facility in Trotwood. I am impressed by the pricing, the layout and the innovative pickup drop off convenience of the truck and easy storage options. I didn't have any issues until I passed the office hours. Around 7:05 my boyfriend tried to ask about the 24/7 service if it applied for the return of the truck. They completely ignored him while he stood at the entrance waving at the 3 employees inside. He asked me to give a shot as he returned to help us unloading the truck inside the drop off interior area. I then went and stood waving for 5 minutes. I had the lady give me the wait signal with one finger. Another gentle looked at me and said something to the gentleman who helped me with setting up my storage (after 6pm). The gentle who helped me with my storage looked me dead in my face twice and later walked around the counter and turned his back on purpose. It's understood that the office hours were over. But I had a very simple question. Does U-Haul 24/7 option apply to my purchase. I called customer service and held for over10 minutes just to ask a simple question. I pray I have no other issues with my belongings being in their care. All was great except for unprofessional behavior, may train employees to explain the 24/7 option when close to closing.

the owner said he would be in all the next day until close and wasn't i wanted to speak to him because he is very nice got another man that was not very nice im 37weeks pregnant and needed a storage room that was convenient in the front of the unit he stated he couldn't do that so I had to walk pretty far i was not too happy about that and if you wanted 24 access you had to pay more.

The guy who assisted me when above and beyond ! I really appreciated it. Every making sure I had a closer unit as I am 6 months pregnant. He even was helpful before I decided on the storage unit. He helped me carry boxes to my car. Did I mention he handled this all alone while serving each customer to the highest level. Even fixing my storage card when it wasn't working.

In the past, my experiences with U-Haul were positive. Unfortunately, this will be the last contract I will have with U-Haul. The customer service was the worst I have every experience ANYWHERE. The clerk was VERY disrespectful! And it appears no one is willing to do anything about it. I have filed 2 complaints and may file a 3rd one - my only hope is that management/corporate will resolve this issue quickly before losing any future consumers. U-Haul has lost a loyal customer and more may follow if this issue isn't resolved.

I will never use UHaul storage ever again. Worse experience I've ever had. When we got to the storage unit we couldn't use the number to get into our unit, besides that I ask for a 10/20 unit and they gave me 10/10 unit. We had to wait 3 hours to get in touch with Jeremy which meant I had to pay extra for my movers costing me more money than I had. Just the worse experience EVER!!!!!

Information online is not correct - the security system is not working so limited hours for access. Stated can't be fixed due to travel restrictions during virus scare.

Carts provided are too few and too small - requires many trips to unload. Only one flat cart and holds only 4 large U-Haul boxes. Would had been worse had we not brought two of our own moving dollies. Card readers not working properly - was not able to obtain working card entry after two cards were issued (and worked properly in the showroom). Access and operating hours are limited and not as published on literature.

New Facility is awesome one stop shop. Got moving material, rental truck, and climate-controlled storage all at same visit. It was awesome.
