We experienced a completely fraudulent occurrence. We dropped off the vehicle in perfect condition. U-Haul Ukiah allegedly said we are being charged for burning the tires off for doing donuts. Completely absurd. The Better Business Bureau is going to be contacted. I've never experienced fraud like this . Someone needs to manage this fast . There was someone living inside the U-Haul office in Ukiah California got photographs of this person. And his vehicle He was there when we dropped off the vehicle when we requested help with a key. He just stared at us through the window and walked away. We are requesting lie detector test we are requesting everything we will not allow this fraudulent experience and being charged over $200 for something we never did. We will not let this fraud happen. I repeat we won't let this happen. If we get refunded the fraudulent money that was stolen from Ukiah U-Haul, it's going to take 2 weeks for my disabled blind senior citizen brother to get his money back which is on limited come. never experienced something so horrible. I hope you find out on surveillance camera who really did this. We have an idea who it is. And we will pay for a lie detector test also. We can't believe U-Haul would be connected to such horrible disgusting Behavior.

The price they gave me first I.e. was 100 then when I went back two weeks later it was 200. No mention at first time that price could go up. Then they tell me its 100 deposit if cash, luckily I had a credit/debit card. Then at drop off I sign into my account and it says I have no rentals so I couldn't return my truck. I took all pictures and dropped it off. Then I get a bill claiming I went over my 146 miles which is not true. Its only 117 miles from Point A to Point B. Meanwhile still never was able to sign my truck out over phone or online or in person. But with that fabricated extra miles reciept guess they got the truck back. Meanwhile my account still has my first and last name misspelled even with my DL and me telling them. The names are both wrong. I want my 5.00 back and I want them to fix my name.

untruthful disclosure...told me a cube across to fl would be 1200..the girl who answered. then the quote came back as 1700 when I invested further. You are money grabbers at the consumer costs. 5 min late with trailer you wanted to charge me a whole day when I stopped in to keep it another day, sorry it s been rented...Then you credit card maching didn't work leaving my open crendit card out in syber space...had to unplug machine take it apart still didn't work. then printer didnt work the last two days I was in for a copy of my estimate for a cube, then wouldn't work for the day's charges you were jipping me out of. No manager to talk to...off for the day, no follow up calls today. Just a bunch of cold ass people grabbing at every nichol they can get. Rude, money squeezers Charlottes. and cold. That's how I will rate you on Yelp..the internet.

I have been renting from uhaul for more than ten years, never had a problem. I was a little skeptical after reading the latest reviews, but I have nothing to complain about. Christine was helpful with my reservation & David was just as professional when I picked up & returned the truck. And for the cry babies out there who complained about the aroma of the truck, big deal! I would rent from this location again. Thank you.

Pick up was relatively quick. There was a problem with the storage unit, but the destination Uhaul in Ukiah was very accommodating and worked with me on my timeline.

While the service we received was excellent, including a quick flat repair of the trailer we were renting, when we got home and opened it up to start loading, it smelled HEAVILY of marijuana. The smell transferred quickly to the sofa we were moving. I realize the challenges but I don't think that's acceptable. It should have been treated with some cleaning product to eliminate the smell.

The attendant had incorrect information regarding the mileage and amount of fuel in the vehicle. We fueled up the vehicle before returning and the attendant argued with my husband about the amount of fuel in the vehicle and the mileage used, even though we had a photo of the odometer and fuel amount from when we picked up the vehicle. With photographic evidence the attendant should not have disputed this, nor used attitude when dealing with us. Very poor service.

I placed my rental order online and was apparently overbooked, since I was called a few days later and told that the truck I requested would not be available. First I was told that I’d have to drive half an hour to another town to pick up a truck, then nearly an hour to a different town to pick up a truck. I was finally offered a truck in my own town, but it was smaller than the one I requested and also over an hour late for pickup. I wasn’t offered any compensation other than an additional offer of mileage that I wouldn’t need. On top of all of this, the employees I dealt with seemed ambivalent at best. They didn’t really work as a team, one had an extremely annoying ringtone for their phone, and they all spoke about person matters using foul language in the presence of customers. Definitely would not recommend this location or U-Haul to anyone, especially if you have other options close by.

When the van says $19 a day please charge $19 a day. Given the wrong keys to the wrong van which I sat out there online trying to figure is out for 30 mintues. So frustrated I finally went in an told the person for them to only realize the wrong keys to wrong van. By the time it's finally done I just want to leave. I will never speak of Uhaul in any favorable manner again.

The office/store smelled of marijuana both times I went the facility. Once when I inquired about the rental truck and when I rented the truck. The guy with the glasses was very rude when I dropped the truck off and I felt like it was a big inconvenience to him to help us. Plus he yelled at me because I parked the truck in the wrong location in front of the office.

I rented a 26' truck, it was very dirty. There was trash in the cab the windows were way past filthy. The headlights were way out of adjustment to the point the high beams did not give adequate light. When you depressed the brakes, sitting still, they emited a very loud groaning noise as did the power steering. When I commented about this the attendant said It will go away when It warms up and if it doesn't call roadside assistance. It never went away. It makes me question if the truck ever had a safety check. I have used U-Haul in the past and have been happy with the equipment. I have more moving to do but have reservations about the safety of U-Haul's equipment after this experience.

Only problem was we started out Sunday to return to San Jose but was forced to turn around due to fires. So that added to extra miles used that we had not planned on. Returned to Blue Lakes and roads were open next day.
