This uhual location is staffed with really kind, professional and well trained employees! Their bathroom was spotless btw which is very rare in any business. You should definitely give this location a raise. I've used allot of uhuals and some are very unsavory and often have employees I wouldn't trust my debit card number with. But I mean it these guys (especially the manager) at ukiah state street location are to the point and quick. We will be renting equipment from uhual at this location from now on! Many Blessings!

This review is an afterthought following my initial feedback. sent earlier. I am not impressed with the corporate UHaul policies nor customer care. Firstly: the pick up location had overlooked a severely damaged tire that, if we, the customer, had not detected the tear in the tire could have caused an accident or travel stress. The delayed departure interrupted our itinerary. We were told to discuss any compensation or credit at the drop off location. We were told tlhat UHaul had credited us with an additional day as our compensation. However we did not know that as we traveled, trying to stay within the 5 day limit. Secondly. UHaul charged a flat rate fee of $1531. plus tax based on estimated Mi. We actually traveled 1420 miles which was less than the miles UHaul had estimated at rental site. The contract indicated we would have been charged an additional $40 per day plus .$0.40 per mi had we exceeded time and mileage. We returned the truck within the contract time limit with 3/8 tank of gas. Receiving an "extra day" was no compensation for inconvenience and economy on our part. UHaul gives no discounts for AARP or AAA. We did greatly appreciate the UHaul Emergency Service which replace the damaged tire with a new one while the vehicle was still in the pick-up rental site prior to our delayed departure.

They need customer service people who aren’t on drugs. Totally screwed up my rental and I’m calling call center today to get my money back. Ridiculous.

The staff is completely ignorant on the functionality of the credit card processing system and pended a transaction for 275.00 on my credit card causing my family of 4 to be stranded with no food, no shelter, and no money! I have spent the past 3 days trying to resolve this matter to no avail. I keep getting told, "I don't know" or "there's nothing we can do". You have my money Uhaul! Return my money...that's what can be done! I will never go through this company ever again, nor recommend it!

The truck was very clean, but the engine light was on, so I would not say it was well maintained. The customer service was excellent and the staff was great about letting me keep the truck for some extra days.

Attendant did nothing to assist in getting keys out of the lock box.....he left with saying good luck with getting the keys. Arrived at 5:05 to pick up the truck & did not get on the road until 8:15 all because when customer service took the order, they never spoke of keys in a lock box & what would be required to retrieve the keys

General manager David was very unhelpful. He didn't have answers to my questions and had a very unpleasant attitude. Javier the intake clerk didn't know his job very well and also had a bad attitude. He implied it would be best not to return to do business at that location.

I rented two 15' Trucks both with Auto transports. The trucks were in fine condition along with one of the auto transports. Unfortunately it was one of the autotransportes that we had trouble with . I was on the road for only 80 mi when one of the auto transports had a blowout in a very unsafe spot. While we were waiting for the service person to get there we also noticed that the tire on the other side of the same Auto Transport was completely bald. The service person did not have another tire with him so we had to stay the night and the next morning we had to wait for another service person to get to our location so he could replace the bald tire this set us back one whole day dealing with this problem. It would be nice if I had some kind of compensation for that lost day and the expense of the hotel rooms. not sure what I can be done in this situation but it would be nice if I had been given equipment that was sound and safe. It was very disappointing. It just added stress to an already stressful situation.

Was supposed to pick up at Santa Rosa Ave. Confirmed. Went there......no trailer!? Had to drive 1 1/2 hours to pick up in Ukiah. ????????????

It was my first time doing the 24/7 online pick up. I wasn't aware that the truck was not full. When it was at almost a half tank full, I returned it full. I had no way of knowing how much gas to put in when I was finished. I talked to your manager he simply said there was nothing he could do for me. He was very much unwilling to help with my issue.
