Get the marijuana smell out of the truck. It is nauseating and caused me to get stopped because the officer could smell marijuana emanating from the back. This is not acceptable.

The truck smelled of marijuana. The longer we had it in the sun closed up with our belongings in it the worse it got. My movers thought I had a weed farm. My furniture smells. Glad we didn't get pulled over by the police.

Trailer should have had a running light fixed and a rivet replaced, but supply in CA was so short I was happy to drive 60 miles over the mountains to pick it up and get my hands on it as soon as possible. However p, trailer performed great on a coast to coast move.

When I was went to return the truck I rented the guy saw me walking up to the door, he looked at me locked the door and turned off the lights. When I knocked on the door he was rude and refused to let me return the truck, he rudely told me to use the drop box. I told him sir you just saw us pull up and walk to the doors and you locked us out. He said use the drop box we are closed. He refused to give me his name. 4 days prayer I went to the same location and purchased a bundle of boxes and the same guy refused to help me out with them to my vehicle, another customer helped me with the box bundle I'm 54 and have medical issues and couldn't carry the box bundle, again he refused to give his name. I am extremely unhappy with my u-haul experience. The location of this u-haul is Ukiah California

Uhaul smelled like cigarette and vomit. Drivers side mirror was broken making driving dangerous. Steering wheel was very loose and I had to constantly correct during driving. My trailer was to be picked over 2 hour drive from van and I called and was assured I did not have to pick up in two locations. The move.com movers from the uhaul site I booked to help load never contacted me. These issues are not a result of the actions of the Tacoma uhaul but Ukiah California uhaul. This whole move was made extremely stressful due to my unfortunate choice of using uhaul!

I had a great experience. The employee, JD (I think that's his name) was very helpful when I returned the trailer. He assisted with taking the trailer off my truck and helped with the paperwork. He was polite and professional.

The manager is very professional and helpful. The uhaul reservations system is an outright lie. I reserved a truck and drove two hours round trip. No one was at the rental location. My daughter reserved a truck a week in advance no call, they just cancelled her reservation after she called them the day before she moved to verify pick up. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE- EVER. The manager at the Ukiah Uhaul did his best but he and his staff said they have been experiencing this issue with the online system for months. Why isn't anyone fixing this?! It's crazy to offer reservations on trucks etc when you don't have them.

Initially I tried to rent an 8-foot truck from U-Haul on State Street in Ukiah, and I got a confirmation number but on my way there this morning I got a call what I can't answer my phone when I'm driving stating that they didn't have one and I'm just about halfway to Ukiah and they told me to go to Sebastopol so unfortunately then they booked me for two vehicles at Sebastopol I couldn't get the vehicle I wanted in Ukiah so I ended up getting a 10 foot box truck but unfortunately as soon as they had switched reservation to Sebastopol I missed out on getting the money saved by renting the box truck for the same price as a pick up which causing me to spend more money that I needed to I'm not happy with that

Inside cab clean. Enclosed box walls dirty and everytime I open the truck door I was bowled over by a cannabis smell so powerful that it made me sick. I didn't know about the smell until I had gotten back home. I told the store people at the address where I rented the truck and all I got was sorry. I had the truck from Wednesday to Monday. So not happy with the fact I was not told about the smell when I rented it as the back door was open and being aired out. I even told the store clerk I was using it to deliver pastries for the week. He still said nothing. Would not recommend moving your households in it. That smell will be attached.

We were contacted less than one day before our contracted pick up time and notified that a trailer was not available at our specified location. We were told to pick up at a location 90 miles away instead. This change added so much time to our trip that we had to travel for an extra day and change our plans, including losing money on a hotel we had to cancel for the first night of travel. Our drop off location did not accept our trailer and we again had to add significant unplanned mileage to our trip to solve this problem. When the customer reserves online they should not have the option to reserve a service that is unavailable for the requested time and location.

Excellent service. My truck was ready and waiting when I arrived early. When I scheduled my truck the person helped me determine exactly what I needed and they were correct. I was able to complete my moving project efficiently and return the truck. It was a very good experience overall from scheduling to completion.

U-Haul has got to find a better system to insure a truck rental is locally available as per the reservation made. I read other reviews so shouldn't have been surprised when the Saturday evening prior to Monday morning pick-up, I was notified that I had an even larger truck to drive (i really should have gotten a 10-15 ft truck but was forced to drive a 20 ft.) that had to be picked up an 1.5 hours north of me, (driving toward fires btw). U-Haul also changed the pick-up time from 9 am to 2:30. All of this made me have to push back my plans for a day later, not to mention calling the movers on both ends to see if they could accommodate the change as well. Thank God, each could. It was my first time ever driving this large of equipment and towing, but after I got more comfortable, I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself-- the truck and auto trailer worked great. A little side note: Do NOT try to adjust the driver's side mirror.

This summer my family and I moved between towns. When moving out I reserved a truck a week in advance, was assured it would be there, and the day before I was to pick it up I had to drive 40 miles out of my way to get it because it was no longer at the location I've been promised. Now, a couple months later when we were moving into our newly purchased home, I tried to reserve movers and a truck through your service. I had two sets of movers cancel on me and, yet again the truck I ordered was not available. In this case I was able to pick it up at the agreed upon location but had to drive an additional three hours to return it rather than being able to drop it off at my destination as I had originally reserved. I will never be working with you Paul again. Whatever costs cutting measures you've implemented that have led to a 100% failure rate for me should immediately be reversed.

Don't hire people that have attitudes. I'm sure not all the people at the Ukiah location have piss poor attitudes but the gentleman working the a.m. shift on 8/26 was rude dismissive and gave out incorrect information about UHaul policies. Then told me I was wrong when I tried to correct him. He should know what he is talking about if he is giving information to the general public. The van had a dirty exterior when picked up but I made sure it was washed before it was returned. I basically paid to have some other renters dirt removed. Yes I noted this with photographs.

We rented a truck to be picked up in Napa, we had to drive to Ukiah for said truck which was four additional hours of driving, not a ver happ customer experience. We reserved the vehicle weeks prior, there really is no reason that Uhaul could not have managed to get a vehicle to Napa. I will not be recommending this company to anyone and will be complaining to everyone about my experience.

Rental trailer had been used to haul pot by previous customers. The trailer stunk and now all my furniture smells like pot.. in addition the truck i wanted was given away to a different customer so i had to rent a smaller truck and trailer..

Considering we're in the middle of a pandemic, I was a little concerned about renting a truck to move. The location was clean, social distancing guides were set up clearly, and the truck was spotless. The Ukiah store looks better than it ever has, and David was professional and very friendly.

This was a horrible experience. I was told if ny ubox was ready for pickup on June 15 it would be deliveried by July 5th. It arrived July 16th which meant I needed to hire movers, the cheapest of which was around 400 dollars. If the box would have arrived on time I would have had help and would not have needed movers. I called several times throughout this process and sent several emails most of which were unanswered. I was told at one point that I would be refunded 50 for every day that it was late automatically. This was not the case. I have since called several times and been switched from person to person and told that is not the case. While staff have generally been friendly they have not fixed the situation and as it is a large company no one has directed me to anyone who can do anything.

I was disappointed by the U-box size. I asked several times how large the box was and was only told it would hold about 1 and 1/2 bedrooms. it was smaller than i expected and by the time i paid for loading and unloading cost us close to $2000.00. Not really happy with the whole thing.

Retire those old rattle trap trucks yesterday. Everything rattled and clanked just driving through town. I would not trust that beast on the freeway. The under panel plastic was hanging so low I could not find the E-Brake release without getting on my knees.

The site changed from Middleton then to Lower Lake then to Ukiah. Bigger truck used more gas and I was supposed to get addtional miles beyond the 20 miles addition. Never did and was charged an extra 32 dollars

The woman who checked my Truck back was not that kind. I know she may have been angry that my return of the Equipment was late but I did apologize and explained my mistake. I was even willing to make my mistake right financially but she did not required that of me. Her Attitude was less than friendly and a bit off putting

The wrong equipment number was placed on contract and then I was charged when that equipment number was returned to Austin TX when I was in Tucson AZ So wrong! I have literally spent hours on the phone to try and fix this and it wasn't my fault. UHaul need to get it together!

This is a comment regarding the GAS level. I would much prefer receiving a vehicle with a full tank and then for me to return the vehicle with a full tank. That seems fair. However, like due to corporate policy, I received a vehicle at 1/4 tank and was told I just had to make sure to have 1/4 tank in it upon return. HOW am I suppose to know how much gas I will use? As it turns out, I put in 27.4 gallons at the start (to begin the trip at "full") and I completed my trip and returned the vehicle at a little over 1/2 a tank. Therefore, I gave U-Haul about 9 gallons of gas since I had no way of knowing ahead of time how much gas I would actually use. I request your corporate policy change (back?) to returning vehicles full.

My access code never worked. One time my lock was on a different storage unit. Nobody could tell me how that happened. When I moved out and wanted my money back for my months that were prepaid they told my that I couldn't get it back. It wasn't until I had my boyfriend come in to help me that they "called" someone and figured it out. I would not recommend anyone to this place.

Had UBox shipped from Colorado. UHaul chose Ukiah. Couldn't deliver and couldn't provide a solution. Go to UBox and it had been broken into. No one notified me and no one helped me with next steps.
