The minute I walked in I was asked If I needed any help at all. I had a reservation for the following day and wondered on the off chance if they could accommodate me a day early. I was pleasantly surprised that the person behind the counter said "Absolutely!" 10 minutes later I had my truck, and I was on my way. I will waive the Vacaville Monte Vista U-haul flag proudly here and will recommend them to friends and family because of the great service I received! EXCELLENT WORK!!

Chris WVan was completely out of fuel when picked up yet they requested it be returned at 1/4 tank. There was a fuel credit, however it was a pain. They should have had some gas on hand just to make sure vehicle would make it to the gas station.

Ryan FKim at 10AM was helpful in locating and arranging an auto trailer for me in Stockton- where I needed to pick up a vehicle- after the reservation couldn't be fulfilled due to equipment/trailer issues and an overdue rental. Manny Gill was very apologetic in regards to the long line wait due to computer issues and the problemed reservation. I was initially going to keep the trailer overnight and return in Vacaville in the morning; however, I would have worried all night about the trailer being unsecured and in my charge. I called up and spoke to Shawn. He indicated they were open until 8PM, but I let him know I was coming. He gladly checked in the trailer and gave me my receipt.

Michael LThe whole experience was great I just had a hard time returning my equipment because I did not know that if you go in the store you can't use the app to return equipment. This was so confusing cuz I kept downloading the app getting notifications of confirmation numbers reposting it checking the barcode and I wish somebody would have let me know ahead of time that I could just drop the equipment off without using the app it was just really confusing and stressful other than that it was a great experience

Jason TI rented a trailer with drop off in Santa Rosa. When I got there they didn't have the trailer that could be returned at a different location. They gave me a free upgrade- larger trailer but not without attitude and wasted time. The process took an hour and I almost missed the chance to pick up my furniture.

Chante DNo trucks available when I arrived at my reserved pickup time. Had to wait 45 minutes. When returning truck it was prior to close and staff was not willing to assist us. We were instructed to download the app and process the return through the app. When others returned their rental after close they were helped while I was still out trying to do my return through the app (took 20 minutes). As a result of staff being on location the key drop box was not available either.

My only complaint is that there isn't much parking for the storage units. On several occasions I needed access to the loading dock area to unload or load my vehicle and there wouldn't be any parking spots available and it seemed like the building was empty of tenants as there was no noise from people and the motion lights would be off. Wish there was more parking . That was the only downside. There was always plenty of little push carts available so that was nice.

I recently made a reservation to pick up a moving truck in Boise Idaho and drive to California to empty out a storage container that I have been renting for over 15 years, and then drive the truck back to Kansas. The original reservation had me scheduled to drop the truck off in Lincoln Nebraska. When I picked the truck up in Boise it was not clean (inside or out), an ashtray full of cigarette butts, garbage under the seats, etc., and had less than 1/4 tank of fuel. When me and my 82 year old stepfather emptied out the u haul storage unit in Vacaville California the electronic doors were broken, making it very difficult to navigate large heavy items through a single hinged door. I called the 1-800 number today to inquire about options for returning the moving truck to Salina Kansas Vs Lincoln Nebraska and the Uhaul Representative was callus and provided no friendly customer service, only comments that she would "mark my contract" to ensure I would be charged maximum penalties. When did customer service become an experience that leaves customers feeling taken advantage of and betrayed by the very business that they have been loyal to for decades ?

Herbert A | Expérience généraleWe had two storage units for about 4 years. After the second year we wanted one larger unit. We supposedly were placed on a list. Despite checking several times over the next couple of years, we were told there were none available. We saw at least three units with tags on them so I asked again to be laughed at and told there was a list and they would have the manager put us on the list. That night I found a storage unit at another facility and the next day someone from uhaul called and there was a unit magically available. Issue number two, which is actually the much bigger issue, are the people hanging out in the upstairs with bikes and backpacks. We were there at night moving out of our locker and three people with bikes and backpacks left the facility at 6:45pm but when we came back in the morning, those same people were back upstairs. There were several people just hanging around the facility, I did not feel safe going there by myself. People would also wait outside and follow people in when they used their key card. Issue three is the wait time. It took a very long time to be helped
