Location and equipment were excellent. 7/24 checkout using the mobile app was a disaster even on a nearly new Samsung phone. App repeatedly hangs while taking pics. Eventually had to complete using web page with help from U-Haul tech support. 40 minutes wasted. Fix and properly test your mobile app!!!

It took about half hour of tapping on a keyboard to get my original rental, even though I had checked in online. I had selected a drop off location, but the agent couldn't find it and had to get traffic control involved. The truck display had a maintenance alert, which the agent told me to ignore. On the next day, replacing the truck was a breeze and the person who helped me (the manager) was competent and quick.

If your employees would do as they say they would i would have rated better, i was told the truck had 1/2 tank i took a pic had 27 miles till empty! i left it with 120 miles till empty with pics of mileage and fuel levels, the employee said he would knock 10 bucks off since i way overfueled but never did, why wasnt the truck checked before it was rented to me? i feel i was overcharged and will think twice before i rent from uhaul again

So the online check in was a nightmare, I had great signal the entire time, the app kept saying “down for maintenance” or “please check connection” Also was a pain because my girlfriends father was the one driving, but I was the one paying for it, lead to a slew of issues involving the ID. Even with a NYS ID said I would also need two other alternate contacts or a passport, when I go into the store, the guy at the register was no help. I guess it would have been nice for the in store employee to be able to complete a check in even if it was meant for an online pick up.

Poor customer service. No knowledge on how return process worked. I asked multiple questions about how I would be notified on any additional charges and the employee was not helpful. I asked if there was a walkthrough needed for return of equipment and the employee just shrugged. Customer service just poor.

My reservation was for 9am to rent a van. The only person working that morning said he forgot his keys to the store and instead stood outside with a line of 9 other customers and attempted to check people in and set up reservations using his phone. After ten minutes of messing around to get the first couple set, he then started taking people into the store through the back office entrance so he could use the computer system. I left with my van at 9:30 making me late for my commitments. I feel especially bad for one guy who was just there to drop off his rented trailer and had to wait 30 minutes to do it.

My experience when reserving the 6x12 trailer working with Monty was excellent and he was very flexible and I enjoyed his customer service. When I returned the trailer Mackenzie was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. They both had excellent customer service skills. I would recommend the Victor location to anyone who needs U Haul equipment. Merci.

park the car where it says it is parked or do not offer a parking location. put the bar scan on both entrances lay out the instructions so a person doesnt have to go back and forth from the building to the truck to the lockbox to the truck to the key return to the truck etc etc The contactless exchange took about 20 minutes longer than it should have.

I got my truck with a quarter tank of gas, they were to give a 25 $credit. I returned the truck with ( the gas gauge said a guarter at drop off) They said it was only 1/8 and I did not receive the full credit. Their gauges do not read true.

After picking the truck up , the brake light alarm kept coming on. I wasted 4 hours trying to get someone to come service the vehicle. I paid extra money for this service no one ever came. I had to put brake fluid in myself, which I purchased. I had to also buy a pad lock because the one provided was not locking .I had to keep the truck an extra day from being so far behind waiting for someone to come look at the truck. I was given a 30 $discount from the lady who did not seem to really care at all that the vehicle was not even gone thru before I picked it up. A simple I'm sorry would have been great. I have rented from you guys for years. No more, I will call another company next time. You are going to end up killing someone from not doing simple maintenance on your vehicles. The broken lock was also a great inconvenience to me and put me even further behind.You really need to look at your vehicles before the next person picks one up.I give you a zero also for your customer service the lady helping us acted like she could have cared less about the issues we had.30 $off would have been ok if she treated us well. That did not happen...Very disappointed

I believe I was robbed by uhaul manipulating my my return based on gas consumption. With no accurate way of determining gas usage I filled up the tank based on uhaul published gas mileage. I was very conservative in my estimate, filled the tank and was still charged an exorbitant penalty. (The gas station was next door to Uhaul). Viewed this as a learning experience, if you rent from Uhaul, plan on getting screwed.

U-haul is attempting to overcharge me 12,22 $ for 2,89 $ in NYS tolls. No explanation of their charges and no response from their collections team. Its a big red flag when a NYS toll is normally $.22 and they charged 5,10 $.

McKenzie, at the counter was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions, and helped us attach the trailer to our hitch without hesitation. She was professional, and made our experience more than satisfactory. The after-hours return was a nice addition to the process. The only thing I would submit to that was an issue I had connecting to the location. My “location sharing” was enabled on my phone, but the web page would not register that I was at the correct drop-off. If I was by myself this would have been a nightmare in the dark. Perhaps you should add a scan at the door instead of relying on the gps for location accuracy.

Location? Awful Check in/out um yeah not good First none of the trucks were cleaned off that's fine but IT WAS A DMAN BLIZZARD AND SHE DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO HELP! Then she expected me to put the truck back in it's spot?! That's not my job. Never again will I rent from this location. Everything about it was unpleasant and just no. I wouldn't recommend this East Rochester location to a funeral home. Disappointed.

We used U-Haul Moving & Storage of Victor for storage. We stored our things there for almost eight months. The storage facility is nice and clean and climate controlled. We especially liked that we could drive our cars and rentals right in to unload, and again to load when we left. This is great in any weather and especially nice when it's too hot or cold out. They even have a nice little section where you can take or leave items in good condition. We bought packing materials and ended up renting a 15-foot truck when we were ready to move our things. The people there are great, over the course of this year we have spoken to four employees there. Each person was kind, treated us with respect, and was very helpful. I highly recommend using U-Haul Moving & Storage of Victor.

Storage space offered was smaller than expected, a larger unit was not available though offered. I almost lost the contracted Moving Help and I had to go to another UHaul. It was a nightmare for me.

Nothing against the facility but if you pay for storage you should have 24 hour access to your own personal belongings instead of business hours. I'm sure there is a reason but this is for corporate.
