The lady that was trying to assist me assigned the wrong size storage unit as well as a unit that was about 2 feet off the ground even after I explained to her what I was storing (riding lawn mower), therefore we had to go back in and re-do all paperwork again which resulted in another size unit that wasn't cleaned out and being charged more. I was told I would receive a phone call the following week for a discount due to everything I had to go through because they couldn't figure out the discount code in the system at the moment, however as of yet, no call from establishment..

The employees were awesome, but no matter what they did, the truck wouldn't rent to me for 29 $. I ended up paying 89 $plus mileage, for a 29 $plus mileage truck. I was in a bind and needed it, but I think next time I'll find any other means to accomplish my goal.

A'klah was VERY RUDE. When I order a truck 3 weeks ahead of time I expect to come in and get the truck. She said she had none available. Her coworker stepped in and got us a truck. She argued with me and was the worst example is customer service.

These trucks need to be maintained better than they. I've been in a blown tire,taped up window and no air conditioning in the last two months. Nothing but I'm so sorry and then something happens again. Trucks are cheap, but sometimes it's good to have customers who really like the service.

Box came 25 days late and refund is under review. The call center is worthless. On hold 30 plus minutes each time, and representatives had no idea where my box was when I called and actually said that to me. Had a Van Gogh replica water damaged and broken frame. I am still going through inventory to see if anything else is damaged or broken. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Customer service was below average. I seem to have inconvenienced the employee who handled my transaction. She grunted and said this is going to be freaking long day and then proceeded to just conduct the transaction with no real customer service. They also did not inform me that the gas gauge doesn't work in the vehicle so I never knew how much gas was actually in it. However it was the only one that size. The return was just as bad. “ leave the key in the drop box…” there is not drop box.

Super LOVE the free month of storage with the one way trailer. Also, hit a snag in my travels as my mother ended up in the hospital while moving from SD to SC. Staff both in person and on line were SO SUPER helpful with the changes I needed to make. My only complaint is being charged for the month of storage that should have been free. I will be getting to the unit tomorrow to discuss it. :)

Would not recommend to the next customer. 1. Booked online weeks in advance. The day I dropped off my car, I got a call from the installer as I arrived at the UHAUL location. He said he wasn't there and wasn't working that day despite the fact that I made the appointment well in advance. The manager at the location said he would be able to do the hitch installation himself since I was already there. A few hours later the manager calls to say they actually don't have the needed parts and we'd have to reschedule. 2. On the rescheduled date, the hitch installer said it would be 2 hours. I call to check in about 2,5 hours later and he hadn't even started on my car. 3. Parts purchased (hitch ball) were not provided or installed.

I had a terrible experience with my rental. First one I booked was at a closed location in a very sketchy location - I spent a half hour on the phone and waiting to locate another truck and reserved one from this location who cancelled it as they had no trucks. The woman in customer service at this location was great dealing w many angry customers who were sent to her location and they didn't have vehicles. How can you make a reservation and not get a vehicle!? How can they 800 number give me a location and reservation at a closed deserted location? I had planned to Uber there and rented a car at the last minute. Horrible horrible customer service on the 800 number to allow that to happen I will not book w uhaul again as I have no trust in the company any longer

My GPS directions took me to 240 Orchard Dr. instead of 400 Orchard Dr. I know this is not your fault but I almost got myself jackknifed in the place I had parked when I try to back up at the wrong location . This location is on a dead-end street and it's not easy to find. There was only one staff person working when I came to drop the trailer off and she was trying very hard to stay ahead of things and it was very unfair for her to have to be working so hard. She tried to do the absolute best that she could and she did but it was really too much to ask considering how busy that location was at that time.

When a reservation is made, honor it… had me wait 2 hours when my reservation was at 7am because you switch it to a hard check in and I selected mobile. No one calls and I had to pay movers for 2 hours for nothing…will not use Uhaul again

My reservation was moved to another location and I was not informed in any way. When I got to the new location, I had to wait about an hour to get the truck. This put me behind time wise. This location is always under staffed on Saturday mornings.

Went to pick up a reservation I had online, the van wasn't ready. I was told that the van I had reserved was out of break fluid and was sent to another location. This location didn't even have a van. He decided to give me brake fluid and told me take it to the location i was at before. I want a refund. The manager said it would be free of charge?!??!

We had a great experience with the Share Ride. It was quick and easy with no problems and saved us a lot of time. I would definitely tell people to choose this method for the convenience.

I wanted to be prepared for our move so I went by this facility on Friday the 18th and rented a 10x15 unit. Upon arriving at this facility on the 19th I discovered that the unit was only a 10x10. The two men working that day were absolutely no help even though one of them is the one who had made the mistake. When I looked at them and asked what was I suppose to do with all the things I needed to store I was told there were no more large units and there was nothing they could do. I had to store what I could in the 10x10 and take everything else to a friends until I can figure something else out. To say I am totally disappointed in U haul would be a huge understatement. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone I know.

First, they called the morning of our appt at 7am and left a message that they needed to change to the following day.. Also, I was not able to talk to the actual location, all calls went to a call center and they couldn't tell me when the vehicle would be ready for pick up.

Very disappointed with customer service. Uhaul changed my pick up location without informing me to a location 20 minutes away. Called to check this location had the truck and waited 25 minutes to talk to somebody. When I got somebody, she greeted me with a huge sigh and was not very helpful. I will try all other means to rent a truck next time before returning to Uhaul.

I had an appointment for 10am which is when I dropped off the vehicle. At 2:35pm I called to get an update. They said the “hitch guy” had just arrived at 2pm and the car would be done at maybe 3:30 or 4. I received a call at 4:20pm stating the hitch install was done. I'm happy with the hitch but what was the point of the appointment. Made logistics of drop off and pickup annoying.

At our first appointment, they had the wrong part, after driving thirty minutes we had to make another appointment and come back when the new part came in. During the second appointment, they installed the wiring harness incorrectly. My husband will be calling and taking the SUV back again! Shouldn't they have checked the wiring before we left?

No lighting on the facility or inside the units so its impossible to see inside after dark. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I was located at the WEST Columbia site in SC of Orchard. This site had a .problem with bookkeeping. One time they accidentally got the locks switch on my storage so they had to issue me a new lock because they didnt know which key belong to my storage, I paid my storage off August 2019 and removed all my items out of this storage unit into my new resident. Almost a year later July of 2020 they contact me saying they about to sell my unit. I explain to them I moved my items out in August 2019. They state its items within the unit and because they found a letter with my name on it, the items must belong to me. I explained that when I cleaned my stuff out it did become dark. I may have accidentally left a paper or two because it was dark but my items was removed August 2019. How could I have a storage there for an entire year and it never got sold, I never got a letter or a call until July 2020, That it was an error.

My stuff was there for 2 weeks and my unit got broken into and they ramsacked the entire unit. Nothing was really left. They didnt seem to concerned with it. And did nothing to help.
