Pick-up truck was brand new and all went well. However, I declined Collision damage both on-line as I was reserving the truck and at the counter and still was charged for U-haul insurance. I've got my own insurance and I'm wondering just how one would successfully decline their Collision Damage charges.

Fortunately your staff member was able to bring me inside and get me checked out in a matter of a minute. If it weren't for his assertiveness I would have probably been in the parking lot for another 30 minutes. I was also charged 7$ for a dolly I never used.

Attendant was busy with three trucks, but he told he to drop the trailer and he would park it I asked him about the charge I paid on credit card and he stated that when the trailer is checked in I would get an email. he looked over the trailer and parked it. I didn't get an email for the charged for three day. I tried calling the business and could never get a hold of any one to talk about the charge.

I used almost an entire pack of Lysol wipes to make the driver side usable but the smell of smoke persisted for the 1300 mile trip. Do you change your cabin air filters?
rich C.I had to return the truck Sunday morning and there was 1 person working. I was in line for almost 20 minutes and decided to do the online check in for the return, which I didn't want to do to make sure everything was OK and no extra charges were applied. I was then charged an extra day because I checked in after the time it was due 8 AM Sunday, but the location wasn't open until 9 AM. So I had to contact the main U Haul to dispute the charge, which the agent took off.

So I'm not sure if they are changing the prices of all their services or what. Very unhappy about how this all came out. Service inside at the store was also pretty bad.

Had I known it wouldn't lock and want latching fully before I left, I would have asked for a different vehicle. The automated check in and out was awful. Your software needs work! The staff on-site were very helpful though. And the vehicle was clean.

He did some great problem solving. The thing is it should have been repaired when it was returned by the last customer.

This was mentioned to the person at drop off. Above average and not excellent only because of the amount of information needed at check-out. It would have been nice for me to fill this out ahead of time to speed up the process.

Thomas K.terrible customer service. order was incorrect and the van i reserved was converted into a truck instead which was not ideal for my needs. i was then given a story about things customers should not hear about theft or something the cops needed to be involved in. i then witnessed a customer come in to inform them the vehicle she rented wasn't working and was a bit frustrated i imagine because of the service. the lady behind the desk in street cloths proceeded to yell at the woman and tell her not to have an attitude. the lady who checked me out for my final transaction was nice and helped explain some of the charges but the overall experience was terrible. i was in a hurry to go to work and i felt buyers remorse when i was done. i almost canceled the rental and called a friend to pay more money but i didn't so i would wreck their day. smh idk wtf is going on there but management needs replacing there
Greg M.Explain how controls work like cruise control and parking brake in cargo van. Point out location of fuel cap. Explain how after hours drop off works. This would not have taken much time since I was the only customer at the time. Clean the cargo area ahead of pick up. Rear doors did not lock. I tried a lot of times to lock them. In spite of these issues I enjoyed driving the cargo van. When I dropped it off after 7:20 am, there was nobody at the front desk. I had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes for the attendant. I needed a ride back to my house and relied on Lyft.
Paul S.This location (Warner Park) was phenomenal. My first drop off location (Uhaul moving and storage of East Madison) did not have the two storage units I reserved online several months ago, claiming it was not their problem because the online reservation system does not mean units are available. This seems like a faulty policy...I drove to Madison from Ohio and when I arrived there were no units available? What if the Warner Park location did not have any either? What's the point of making reservations online if there is no guarantee of a unit? In the end, the Warner Park location helped me out and we're great. I will never use the East Madison location and will tell my friends not to either.

I have rented with u haul many times and honestly the only reason you keep getting my business is that you have a monopoly on the market. I may start just looking at buying a trailer as it becomes less and less bearable to step foot in this establishment.

Peter H.Tire on the trailer blew out while traveling on the interstate. Tires were so old they replaced both when the repair vehicle came 90 minutes later. These tires should have been flagged and changed before renting it out to customers!

Things like dirty masks and food wrappers were almost always laying around, and often we'd find sharp items like nails, screws, etc. that we'd have to pick up before pulling in. This reduced the convenience (and it was a little gross.) Other than that though, we were very happy with our experience there. The interior was always very well maintained, I always felt safe and like my stored items were safe. Super convenient location and accessibility. Staff were always great, very nice, knowledgeable, and professional.

Though, the office persuaded us to upgrade to climate control and when moving out of the unit three months later there were bugs EVERYWHERE. Dead bugs in all my things, falling from the ceiling and so basically everything was covered or dirty or in disgusting condition just sitting there. I wouldn't recommend it for that reason alone. I expected more out of the upgraded and more expensive climate controlled space. It's indoors after all!

I also called a week before the move-in date to confirm that I still had the reservation. When I arrived on the move-in date, the staff member told me that the reservation "didn't mean anything" and could only get a unit if one was available. Thankfully there was a unit free, but if this was not the case, I would have been left stranded with all of my belongings in a truck and no moving help. Provided this staff member is correct, this is an absurd way to organize a storage facility. At no time when I talked with UHaul representatives before my move was I warned that I was not guaranteed a storage unit with a reservation. Moreover, why is it called a "reservation" if a unit is not "reserved" for you? Because of the gross misuse of this word and poor communication on the part of UHaul, I recommend that others should NOT use UHaul for storage.

I simple concrete patch would make a big difference in the ease of getting the courtesy carts through the door....plus it could be a tripping hazard.

I had less than 20 minutes to find a new storage facility due to Storequest completely obstructing my storage unit I had rented the week prior for Saturday's move. Not only did Storagequest refuse to help me, they did nothing to assist with their obstruction of my unit to gain access to it. I had Two Men and a truck with all my belongings in the truck and no storage left! I got immediate storage through Uhaul and with my circumstances as they were Em made a call to her supervisor and surprised me with not only a free month for the trouble another company put me through , but also had the keys to the unit and a lock ready to go when we arrived. I cannot tell you how grateful and appreciative I am for your incredible customer service, you staff's attention to the details and the speed with which it was delivered means to me! A horrible experience elsewhere was immediately turned around, got me back on track with my move and made me feel like I was being treated with above and beyond service. These two young ladies were incredible to work with and my friend that was with me said exactly the same. She will need help with storage for her daughter in the future and we will only do business with U-Haul from here on out. Your staff gained two loyal customers. Thank you!!!
