I called back to UHaul & was assured there would be the storage I signed up for. Arrived at uhaul at 730am, storage unit was not available so I was charged more for the larger size. I was given a discount, but I should not have been told my unit size was guaranteed. The problem was at the call in, not the facility. Facility staff were helpful & apologetic. I was given a trailer that had a wheel with completely shot wheel bearings. I didn't know until another driver told me one of my wheels was wobbling. When I rented the trailer, the staff had indications there might be a maintenance issue, but couldn't figure it out, so declared the trailer fine. I will never rent anything from Uhaul again. This was the worst experience i've ever had when it comes to renting equipment. Whether it was the 17 calls i made to Uhaul over the past 3 weeks (and everytime Uhaul would either screw up my order or tell me something different everytime) or whether it was the 3 systems Uhaul uses that don't communicate to each other... i will never reccomend Uhaul to anyone or use your company again.Lucas S.

Online booking system was not functional. The system allowed me to book a Ubox at the 22 Atlas Ct. site even though they don't stock them. I had to wait an hour on the phone to get my reservation transferred to this Warner park site, but even that didn't get the box ready for me. I tried calling the Warner park site but after waiting an hour on hold they hung up on me. I drove to the Warner park site in person and talked to someone who did an additional step with the Ubox to "really" make it active so that I could pick it up tomorrow. The online scheduling website is deceptive and terrible. You should not be able to book a Ubox at a site that doesn't have one, you should be able to transfer your Ubox online, and if the website shows in green text that your box is reserved, that should mean it'll be ready for pick-up on the day indicated with no further action from you. I got charged an extra $75 for nothing. My itinerary specifically said I had until Saturday the 6th to drop off. I got charged an extra day, an extra coverage fee AND was told I returned without enough gas even though i made 3 separate gas deposits within a mile of drop off to make sure the line was on half. I called today immediately after seeing my receipt and was told 15-20 min wait time. One hour and 45 minutes later I finally received a call back ( as Im walking into my new job (because I just moved! Hence the U-Haul!) And was asked if I could postpone to continue conversation! Absolutely not, I don't have the time or extra money to deal with this and I'm extremely disappointed in customer service!!! I did nothing wrong , was charged extra without contact first and now told to wait up to 5 business days for a "dispute" I might not even get. I'm disgusted with this service.Alexa B.

Final bill was way over what was estimated. It added prices for after-hours return even though I returned it to a person during business hours. Also, CDW (insurance) on the final bill doubled. Resulting in a simple 1-day rental that was 80 % over-estimate. There's no easy way to get a hold of Customer Service, I waited 30 minutes on hold without getting through. It seems this is standard operation for UHaul - promise a low estimate, grossly overcharge on the final bill, then make it nearly impossible for a customer to get it remedied. Needless to say, I'll not be considering UHaul for any future rentals.Sudip M.

Had to wait 2 hours in the parking lot until facility opened. 24/7 ride share didn't work. We were passed from person to person over the phone and waited to be helped up until the store opened. We were fined money for getting out of the apartment late due to the 24/7 ride share issue. We were supposed to get the truck at 7am and everything was ready to go. I believe someone didn't push something through the night before. Once the store opened, we were able to get help, but the worker was in a bad mood due to it being super busy.Carley E.
This is my second rental this week - first experience took 20 minutes to pick up and a another 15 to check back. The process is way over complicated and takes too long. Better staffing. One guy had to run the the place by himself and it took 45 minutes for me to be on my way with the trailer. He also hooked it up so that the chains dragged so I had to readjust them to avoid damaging the chains.Kevin S.

Not only did we not get reimbursed for the time we didn't used, but we were misinformed, promised a reimbursement for the time we didn't use, over customer service , in direct response to a general manager of our pick up location . We have yet to receive that email. This is the worst experience we have ever had with U-Haul and will absolutely be not recommending this service to anyone. When employees are falsely misinforming their customers, giving false and incorrect information, then Promising a reimbursement that very clearly does not follow through, it's incredibly disappointing , in addition to a loss of $150+ of reimbursement.Devin L.

I was told by a gentleman on the phone that my lock would be in my unit once it was available but there was not, my attempts to reach an employee were unsuccessful at the intercoms placed around the building as well as when calling as there is not a direct number for the store, and there is no way to get to the front office without leaving the storage area, going outside and then back inside. Everything was excellent except the parking spots in the loading bay (inside, where you can back your car up to the ledge) were often very dirty. Things like dirty masks and food wrappers were almost always laying around, and often we'd find sharp items like nails, screws, etc. that we'd have to pick up before pulling in. This reduced the convenience (and it was a little gross.) Other than that though, we were very happy with our experience there. The interior was always very well maintained, I always felt safe and like my stored items were safe. Super convenient location and accessibility. The process of reserving and entering and exiting the facility was great! Though, the office persuaded us to upgrade to climate control and when moving out of the unit three months later there were bugs EVERYWHERE. Dead bugs in all my things, falling from the ceiling and so basically everything was covered or dirty or in disgusting condition just sitting there. I wouldn't recommend it for that reason alone. I made a reservation (over the phone) back in May for a storage unit starting at the end of July. I also called a week before the move-in date to confirm that I still had the reservation. When I arrived on the move-in date, the staff member told me that the reservation "didn't mean anything" and could only get a unit if one was available. Thankfully there was a unit free, but if this was not the case, I would have been left stranded with all of my belongings in a truck and no moving help. Provided this staff member is correct, this is an absurd way to organize a storage facility. At no time when I talked with UHaul representatives before my move was I warned that I was not guaranteed a storage unit with a reservation. Moreover, why is it called a "reservation" if a unit is not "reserved" for you? Because of the gross misuse of this word and poor communication on the part of UHaul, I recommend that others should NOT use UHaul for storage.Daniel C. | Premières impressions

I reserved a truck and storage locker. 10X5 and a truck. This was on May 23. On May 26th Uhaul changed the truck hours to evening? I called the site and they had no data - said they were closed on Saturday: told me I may as well be calling Walgreens ... I got on line and truck was not available so I took a van. I rented my unit online including a lock. The lock was not in the unit (as the confirmation email said it would be) so I had to wait in line for a bit to get it.
