Amount of gas in vehicle should be checked with both attendant and customer present. I ended up paying about $20 more than what I was responsible for due to the amount of gas in vehicle differed from the amount attendant had marked on gas chart. I didn't know i needed to check and double check plus take a picture. Sometimes you just want to trust.

The tie hooks in the corners of the trailer were not usable. It was hard to strap items

There was a ratchet strap and a tension rod left in the back. I had assumed this was apart of the rental but the lady at the second location told me this was incorrect. When approaching the desk one of the ladies was texting on her phone and needed to be alerted of our approach by another associate. The lady with the phone was sitting down and very apathetic where as the other

The people at uhaul are so nice and will try and help you anyway they can.I couldn't get my door up one lady came and tried to help me lift it up she had to go help a customer but told me if I couldn't get it up she would come back and help .

Original St Clair shores location did not have my 17 foot truck reserved by me on Friday for a Sunday pick up. Had to drive over to the grosbeck location to pick up a 20 ft truck.
Ember was a pleasure to work with and I feel she went above and beyond to assist me with all my needs and should greatly be acknowledged for showing such great customer service
It seemed as the transmission would not shift when I took it to 70 mph. Maybe that's why it Only got about 6-7 mikes to a gallon. I was very disappointed in the amount of gas it consumed for a very light load
I believe her name was Tamara and she had an associate with her that day. Clearly the software and computer systems were being extremely difficult to deal with. Those two ladies were truly the MVP of my experience, very helpful to us customers, they helped and reassured they were doing the best they could. 5stars for those two

Dave the manager or owner as his tag says was very rude no customer service experience would not hear what I had to say after renting the truck that I had to somebody else without first let me return it and then said it was my fault smirked laughed at me like I was a child really bad experience with this U-Haul facility
I asked for a utility dolly but was giving a regular dolly . This made my moving uneasy. I'm disappointed. And I want my money back.
Only issue I had was the gas gauge in the van. When I went to replace the gas , the gauge didn't move and I ended up putting in twice as much gas as I used. Got it with a quarter tank and returned it with a little over a half.
First I will say the uhaul check in app is garbage. I had to do numerous times and then still had to do it in the store negating any time savings. But mostly I want to say that dealing with Thomas Wilder , when I checked in my last rental was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with uhaul. Very courteous, professional and would be the epitome of what customer service should be. He will be the reason why I would rent from uhaul again.
Ms. Tamarra was very compassionate, concerned, and caring. She was helpful from beginning to end. She also needs some help with servicing the customers.

I was 20min late due to an accident (I was stuck in traffic) and they doubled their fees as if I was renting the truck for another six hours. ‘If late, additional fee may be added' (according to the contract, but to not say we're charging you as if you doubled your time... that's not in good character. But business is business, right?
Let them know about the hidden 20.00 drop off fee that I was charged without my knowledge. Was not told if I drop off after hours, which they knew I was doing, that I had to go on an app and check out. Had NO knowledge of this.

One of the employees had shortness of breath and was coughing everywhere and he was the one supplying equipment to everyone with no mask on and none of the other employees had on masks this place needs to be shut down

I had to pay extra because my truck i reserved was not available at the location i requested. So the trip cost me double what it should have & not a single person at U-Haul seemed to think that was an issue. It made my move extremely frustrating & take longer than it needed to.
I was over charged for my trip I only went 34 miles but was charged for 134. Will not recommend to anyone, will be disputing charge. Sales person stated I would receive a call back no one called me. Young lady acted as if she didn't care about my issue. Will be going to store to talk to management.

Very pleased with this experience....I rented a ramp trailer for 2 days...My reservation was for Saturday morning the 17th of this month at 9am....got there promptly at 9am, at 9:15, I was hooked up and on the road....Returned the trailer the following afternoon, I backed the trailer in, went inside and informed the attendant I was returning the rental. I was back on the road in 5 minutes....Outstanding service...will definitely use this location again Jim

Have workers that know what they are doing I mean who wears sunglasses inside while talking to Customers Your workers do! My truck wasn't even full when I got it very bad experience
I had reservations for a 20 foot truck at seven Mile and Van Dyke. When I got there at my schedule time I was told they had no trucks available. She then looked in the computer and scheduled me for a 17 foot truck at the nine Mile and Groesbeck location. When I got to nine Mile and Groesbeck I was told that the lady that scheduled me for the 17 footer had actually canceled somebody else's order and put me in their place so the nine in Groesbeck location had to switch me to a 15 footer which is all they had left available.
Major Issues with billing/receipts. otherwise no other problem.
I do not have the woman's name that helped me unfortunately, but she was great and answered all my questions thuroughly.
First thing is that they should never change my credit card from one document to an other without my permission and signature!!! This happened a few weeks ago. My past experience with the trailer I was very worried about the tires.
The young lady was every helpful and experience.

With covid 19 being rapid, the truck was filthy. Especially the cup holder area. You can tell its NEVER been sanitized

Y’all charged my card the NEXT DAY after I retired the truck in for a extra day saying that I just returned it today this morning at 6:53 am and that’s not true and now my bank account is overdraft because you charged me for something I never should have been charged for and I’m very unhappy
I reserved online for the free first month, got in store an paid for my first month, didn’t realize it until later in the day
My things got ruined and molded from get wet. From the way the facility was built and will be filing a claim
