I have been using that location for several years I'm very very happy with that location I have no problems with anything and if I do they always always work with me and we make sure everything is okay

Have better equipment inspections. The trailer running lights was never inspected only the turn signals. I received a citation by State Police for the running lights not working then was charged the penalty charge because I couldn't take it to the original location. The attendant at the Florida location did not give me any options for dealing with the faulty trailer other than either bring it back to Florida or drop it off nearby.

Darrell MThe cup holders, floors, and cargo bed appeared not to have been cleaned. The storage space was full of what looked like drywall/sheetrock, the cupholders had a gunk built up, and the cabin floor was dusty/dirty. A quick sweep of the interior and wipe of the cupholder with a cleaning solvent would make it significantly better. The cleaning agent used on the seats gave me a considerable rash anywhere my skin contacted the seats. Wiping the seats down with another cleaning agent may solve this for the next customer
Caden DMy truck was not in the spot it was supposed to be it was actually completely across the lot by the road when it was said to be in front of the building. I get to my truck and there are homeless people sleeping in it.
Brandon MMy booking agent was on Navy Blvd and they had no follow thru after taking my reservation over the phone and never added the appliance dolly I requested and reminded them of in my 2 calls to them. Unfortunately the pick up sight none available as well but their service was excellent.
MARY BFirst of all the uhaul place didn't have enough trailers for the boxes to go into so when the movers went to pick up the box they couldn't get them. This uhaul location had to go to another location and it severely delayed the day. The moving company I selected through the partnership was awful. They only filled half of one box and took it and then smashed stuff into the other. Never used the packing blankets. Almost all of my furniture is damaged. I had to throw away a ton of things because of the way they packed things. Then the unloading experience was the worst. The woman at the store where I picked them up was so out of touch with what she was doing. I called multiple days ahead to make sure my boxes were good to go. She said someone would call me back. Nobody called me back. Then when I got to the location she didn't know how to release the boxes to me. She was completely confused. Overall I wouldn't recommend these. There's too many moving parts and nobody is working together to make it easy in the customer.

GRACE AActually charge the correct credit card. There have been 3 issues during this one move where U-haul charged the wrong card. when I called to fix the issue I was originally told I would receive a call and they would fix it. I never got a call. Then when I call back after a few days I was told they did call (which is a lie) and that it turns out they cannot refund me or move the charge, despite them screwing it up multiple times.

Dwayne PVery annoyed because when I turned in the truck there is a sticker that says 20 % off if swept out. Didn't receive that but wanna charge me more for going over in miles which is pathetic bc I went from location to location and it sat here in driveway once I got into town like who wanna drive a U-Haul as a vehicle? Nobody so there for how did I go over in miles like having to drop addition $160 at drop off is ridiculous. I get the mileage prolly says I went over but idk I went from U-Haul in one state at pick up to new location then to U-Haul in drop off!! Then get charged $40 for another day because I took it back 3 hours later because my original reservation said drop it off Wednesday but yet today is Tuesday and go charged another day for 3 hours. Wouldn't recommend U-Haul to anyone because they really be doing people wrong.

Because customers waiting in line while employee have go outside and check the equipment. You should've customers waiting for long periods of time. This can save timing for the customers and employees.

CYNTHIA WMake sure the lights are working on the trailers, and the cable to hook the trailer to the trucks aren't broken. We had to go through 4 different ones just to get the truck hooked up.
Hannah HDropped of the equipment on 2/14/24, a day earlier than it was due back. The attendant stated that I would receive an email with a receipt in a few minutes, I never received that email. On the afternoon of 2/17/24, I was contacted by a representative from the drop off location, who rudely stated that the trailer was over due and that I needed to drop it off. I informed him that I had dropped it off 4 days prior. In an accusatory.manner he stated that he would look in his lot to see if it was there but he knew it wasn't. I haven't heard back from them to let me know that they found the trailer that they failed to check in when the received it. I did receive the email receipt a few minutes after the conversation so I guess that means they found the trailer. This past week has definitely shown me that there is a lack of customer service and lack of competence at U-haul.

Didn't tell anybody about the move out yet so didn't think you would close out the contract yet, my fault for not putting the lock back on. Thank you for cleaning up. I also received a call few months prior to let us know about our lock not being on as secure as it should be, so thank you for doing walk through to make sure the units are secure. Place always clean and staff at this location always are helpful and friendly.

The garage doors always had something wrong with them, meaning they are stuck in the air or halfway up which is really scary due to a large homeless population located near this area. We moved out of this storage facility due to roaches and ants in the facility and unfortunately in our things. I also feel that we should have gotten money back since the bill was paid for the month and we vacated the unit before the payment was due again.

This delayed me returning the U-Haul truck rental. This is very inconvenient. Will never use or recommend again!

Moving is already stressful enough as it is, but assigning an occupied unit is just unacceptable. Even though they made it right, after me having to walk the premises myself, I found an empty unit, and I informed uhaul of their mistake. They comped me a LOCK for the inconvenience. Lol....unacceptable.

This can become problematic when you are 4 days deep in traveling, low on battery and low on gas. The perfect storm to make an easy return incredibly difficult. I wish I could have just talked to a real person but my options were: wait on the phone for hours or wait for phone to charge precariously as gas dabbled low. Great interactions with U-Haul Moving & Storage Of West Pensacola, less than satisfactory interactions with uhaul "easy" app return.

KATRINE D | Online Move In1) Moved my items without my authorization. After hurricane sally, 2020, I had to inspect my belongs in my unit as requested per uHaul. I had to dry out the unit and the floor due to flooding from the damaged roof caused by the hurricane. Took pictures of items and put everything back into my assigned unit. Went back about a week later to store some items, found out MY lock was cut, my stuff moved to a different unit without my approval and my items were touched and gone through by complete strangers. I received no courtesy call or email about this move. They also replaced MY master lock with one of their own less expensive locks and didn't reimburse me for my lock they cut off. 2) this facility does not open on time per it's posted hours on the front door. I'm a firsthand witness, check your security footage; 3/15/2021 and 3/27/2021. 7am open time. 3) this location made an unauthorized charge to my bank account. I discussed with an employee (Matt) on 3/14/2021 about upgrading my storage unit. Employee stated they don't pro rate so I told him I'll be back at the end of the month to upgrade (I want my bills due at the end of the month). I was alerted later that late night from my bank and an email from uHaul stating they charged my account and assigned me to an upgraded unit. My bank account was charged without my signature or approval. Undisputed, I have all documents pertaining to this unauthorized transaction. It took ten business days for my refund. TEN days to give me back my money that was stolen from me! I didn't authorized or approve the transaction, so that classifies the charge to my account as steeling my money. 4) They have zero customer service. I closed my account and moved out of my unit on 3/28/2021. I forgot my antique iron bed rails from the 1800's propped up in the front corner of the unit. Them knowing I just moved out, they didn't call me or try any means of contacting me about the items I forgot. They took the bed rails and immediately put them in the front area for anyone to take. Luckily I remembered them a few hours later, went back and was able to retrieve my property before someone else took them.

I thought that the Moving portion had many hidden fees that weren't explained/listed in the billing. It seems that at $40 per day advertisement is False, as it cost way more than that. Also, when I returned the vehicle, the salesman did not give me any receipt. I think that is Dishonest. I was told my One-Way move was determined by a Flat-Rate, so I would not be getting an itemized bill. Also, there is a $1,6 toll that I believe U-Haul should cover considering the amount of excess that I paid for the trip, over and above the advertised price.
