The Uhaul self-serve return website was inoperative this past Saturday night. I have rented the same trailer type a dozen times over the past year and completed self-serve return multiple times successfully, but this past Saturday night the Uhaul self-serve return web site didn't work despite multiple attempts. I left the trailer at Uhaul and took additional pictures. I called the Uhaul phone number, voice said over 1 hour wait, I waited about 45 minutes then hung up. Maybe it was a web site glitch and a lot of calls on a Saturday night.
Paul M.There was a issue with the gas refill was told I would be appropriately discounted and when I went to finish the transaction there was no discount and when I asked about it again was told by the attendant that told me it would be taken care of said there was nothing he could do. So I guess he talks out of both sides of his mouth Let's see what y'all do to try to fix it

When I loaded the car found the ratchets were seized up, therefore had to use a considerable amount of spray lub to get them to work The place they reserved for the drop off was closed. Called them and they sent me to another placed that was closed. Last place sent was open. .

Everyone makes mistakes just correct them i was overcharged 80 dollars and i rent with them a lot . I was rushing that day and did not check my receipt. I will rent with them again.

Stein A.They lost our storage reservation and sent us to Milton, fl about 18 milesaway and they were not helpful in trying to find storage. We had to call around to find a place. After we turned in truck and trailer, they called and said they couldn't find the trailer. Since I hired movers I had to pay for the extra time and gas ect. They said they would call me back when they found the trailer and have not heard yet. I called the movers myself. very dissappointed and won't use again.
Rosa S.Went to rent a trailer they said they had 2 available, when I got there they had issues with getting them to show in computer to rent so they had to give me a different trailer with a gate, when I specifically said I could not use with a ramp. The sales rep was like this is all I can do, asked him to call a supervisor, he said this is what his supervisor instructed him to do, and would not ask if we could swap them out for a trailer with no gate. Had to load a 1600 lb shed with fork lift and then get a group of men to help push it back onto the trailer the rest of the way. Was not happy with the service today.

KRYSTAL V.The needed improvements have nothing to do with this location and everything to do with your scheduling department. I reserved a 10' truck online for 11am at a different location. Your schedulers changed that reservation to a 15' truck for 3:30 at a more distant location...and didn't tell me. It was noon before I was able to sort it out on the phone with scheduling. The $50 reward guarantee hardly made it worth the panic. Improve your fleet availability reporting for online scheduling, and your notification system for revised reservations.

They got me the right equipment I needed and had it all set up to go on-time the following day. Lol....unacceptable.

This can become problematic when you are 4 days deep in traveling, low on battery and low on gas. The perfect storm to make an easy return incredibly difficult. I wish I could have just talked to a real person but my options were: wait on the phone for hours or wait for phone to charge precariously as gas dabbled low. Great interactions with U-Haul Moving & Storage Of West Pensacola, less than satisfactory interactions with uhaul "easy" app return.

KATRINE D. | Online Move In1) Moved my items without my authorization. After hurricane sally, 2020, I had to inspect my belongs in my unit as requested per uHaul. I had to dry out the unit and the floor due to flooding from the damaged roof caused by the hurricane. Took pictures of items and put everything back into my assigned unit. Went back about a week later to store some items, found out MY lock was cut, my stuff moved to a different unit without my approval and my items were touched and gone through by complete strangers. I received no courtesy call or email about this move. They also replaced MY master lock with one of their own less expensive locks and didn't reimburse me for my lock they cut off. 2) this facility does not open on time per it's posted hours on the front door. I'm a firsthand witness, check your security footage; 3/15/2021 and 3/27/2021. 7am open time. 3) this location made an unauthorized charge to my bank account. I discussed with an employee (Matt) on 3/14/2021 about upgrading my storage unit. Employee stated they don't pro rate so I told him I'll be back at the end of the month to upgrade (I want my bills due at the end of the month). I was alerted later that late night from my bank and an email from uHaul stating they charged my account and assigned me to an upgraded unit. My bank account was charged without my signature or approval. Undisputed, I have all documents pertaining to this unauthorized transaction. It took ten business days for my refund. TEN days to give me back my money that was stolen from me! I didn't authorized or approve the transaction, so that classifies the charge to my account as steeling my money. 4) They have zero customer service. I closed my account and moved out of my unit on 3/28/2021. I forgot my antique iron bed rails from the 1800's propped up in the front corner of the unit. Them knowing I just moved out, they didn't call me or try any means of contacting me about the items I forgot. They took the bed rails and immediately put them in the front area for anyone to take. Luckily I remembered them a few hours later, went back and was able to retrieve my property before someone else took them.

I thought that the Moving portion had many hidden fees that weren't explained/listed in the billing. It seems that at $40 per day advertisement is False, as it cost way more than that. Also, when I returned the vehicle, the salesman did not give me any receipt. I think that is Dishonest. I was told my One-Way move was determined by a Flat-Rate, so I would not be getting an itemized bill. Also, there is a $1,6 toll that I believe U-Haul should cover considering the amount of excess that I paid for the trip, over and above the advertised price.
