For starters return the deposits. I paid for 30 miles and only used 10 or 11. Which has not been returned to my account yet and it's been 16 days. On top of that the are charging me for a dolly I didn't use and blankets I didn't ask for. I called the manager and corporate and still no refund.

They have horrible customer service. This is the 2nd time I've used this location. First time was horrible experience but tried to give them the benefit of doubt and try one more time with them. Again horrible experience!!! I called after returning truck because my drop off was at night. I was told I was owed money from them. They then asked if I wanted to pick money up or if I wanted a check mailed. I specifically stated that I wanted to pick up the monies owed to me and that I absolutely did not want a check. I came in to pick up money owed and was informed that they mailed a check out to me. I explained i told rep. I spoke to that I absolutely did not want a check. On top of that they did not even verify my address or phone number. So they mailed the check to an address I have absolutely no access which I explained. Then was told I could not have check voided that they would call me when they got a return check. I then asked what number they had and of course the number was wrong as well so had I not checked that I would have never gotten a call and probably never recieved any monies owed to me at all. Horrible location. Horrible customer service. Will never rent from this location ever again.

No problems with equipment, rental office or staff - all very good and professional. Problem was with return after-hours - attempted to log into haul.com and process the return there. Could not log into website, tried resetting password, still no go. Gave up after 30 minutes and left trailer at location. Called 800 number, waited on hold for 20 more minutes - the person I spoke with was very helpful, but wanted to reset passwords. NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE A SMARTPHONE APP or TRANSACTION! Seriously, I have rented trailers from uhaul for 30+ years - used to be a simple carbon-paper form to fill out and drop in the drop-off box. What was wrong with that? What happens for people that don’t have a smart-phone? I am an engineer and work with technology every day - but not all technology is an improvement. Keep it simple, and don’t waste people’s time with poorly thought-out web apps.

Didnt have the truck I reserved. Got a smaller truck, which meant more trips. Didnt get the appliance dolley I'd initially requested. Tank looked like it was on full, but found out hours later it wasnt... after needlessly dumping way more money into the tank than I needed to. The mobile check in didnt work, because they didnt have the truck I'd requested (and had even gone out of my way because no one the many closer locations seemed to have it for whatever reason). Because the mobile check in didnt work, our friends waited in 90+ degree heat at lir storage space while we waited on you to get your shit together. Seriously, give me one reason to U-haul again. Bet you cant.

Customer service allowed me to wait in line with only 1 customer ahead of me and another associate took him. I was finally called to the associate window who was not doing anything and when I gave my pre ordered can name, she was talking to other associates with allowing me to wait in mid transaction while she talked with them. At least she could have finished me first before getting Involved with another conversation

As expected. Trailer was old and on it's last leg BUT it was functional and did the job. Regardless of the pre-checkin that was used, check-in still seemed to take far longer than needed with nearly ALL stuff I did at pre-check being covered again. Return was smooth. Fair enough.

First, the customer service rep was surly: She offered no greeting, did not say thank you at any point in our encounter. Also, she seemed put off that I did not know exactly how many miles I would be driving. I estimated a total of 60 miles. She told me that if it turned out to be fewer miles, that would adjust the mileage fee. Well, it turned out to be 42 miles. When we returned the truck we were tired & did not think to ask about the reduction in the rate, but she did not offer to tell us anything about a rate adjustment, so I don't know if there will be one on my charge card or not. I just do not understand why someone in a job dealing with people needs to be so surly and impolite. It was almost as if we were irritating her that she had to take her time to wait on us. On the other hand, I will say that the gentleman who checked us out outside when we returned the truck was pleasant and helpful. Please know that I almost never fill out comment sections, but I don't believe that her attitude and behavior were warrnted or necessary.

I had to wait almost 30 minutes while the staff member chatted with the customer prior about anything and everything. By the time she was available to help me, she sat at her computer for a few minutes before acknowledging me, did not apologize for the wait, and only said "do you have a reservation?" The staff was not overly friendly, but the vehicle was clean and perfect for our needs.

worst customer service ever. I had an out-of-town move due to a work relocation I got assigned to this location due to the truck I needed I show up at this location to pick up my rental equipment and my truck only for the staff member Andy to get an attitude that I was getting so much equipment rolled his eyes side and made a nasty comment. Then comes inside and makes another comment. The girl checking me out was training didn’t get a manager. I go to my residence to start moving I open the bag of furniture pads they’re dirty have dirt on them and they smell like mildew and mold. Very disappointed in the experience I had. I definitely need a refund on the equipment that I rented because it was apparently an inconvenience to rent anything and their staff need to have a training session on customer service

Crystal Dickinson U-Haul International Resolution Team - Manager on Duty Customer Service: (800)789-3638 Ext. 860186 Again. I will start by saying this location was good, no issues. However UHauls customer service made me never want to use UHaul again. The Manager listed above does NOT solve problems. Instead she makes a lot of promises that do not get fulfilled and is no where to be found when you follow up with her. She and Yvette Gonzales are two main reasons I will NEVER use UHaul services again.

I had the best moving experience. Nothing broken and the staff at the location was wonderful. I thought the 20 ft would be enough and it turned out I needed a 26 ft. The location was great getting me the new truck and taking the other one back. I would highly recommend U-Haul.

The line to pick up our U-Haul took a LONG time. There were about 6 parties ahead us in line, however, the line took about 45 minutes. There were 3 employees helping, so I'm unsure why the line took as long as it did. We also checked in online, entering both my husband's and my driver's license info. Upon check-in, we had a lengthy process to re-enter the information.

Thanks for helping me get a truck on such notice and making the return process simple! Only issue I saw was how chaotic everything seemed when I went to the pickup location. I got excited when the manager came over to help me at the desk until she couldn't focus on helping me for more than 20 seconds because everybody else needed help. That being said, it doesn't negate the fact that I got what I needed and everything else went very smoothly. I will be using this location again, so thank you guys.

I don't have any suggestions about the location. The only improvement I will suggest is the charge. You are over charging people for no reason. How can you explain that renting a truck for only 4 hours, You charge over 71 dollars. But when you call, they tell you 19.99 dollars. That is abusing people trust.

Alternate contact required before rental was unexpected and very inconvenient. Delayed me about half an hour trying to reach someone to use as an alternate when i was already at the location. Nowhere in the reservation process was I informed that this would be a requirement. Also, passenger mirror would not stay in place. Had to keep pulling over on the side of the highway to readjust it.

Martha Aldamen, who I primarily dealt with during both the pick-up and return of the rental van, was an absolute delight to interact with. She explained everything clearly with a cheerful and welcoming attitude, going over all the nuances of the contract. The equipment worked perfectly and the return was no hassle when I arrived back later in the day. One of the best experiences I've ever had with U-Haul. Luckily was a beginning of line at pickup time. Otherwise, there were 10 people waiting after me, and I would not have been happy with that wait. But we got there on time so we didn’t have a terribly long wait. Manager seemed very busy dealing with training associates, dealing with computer issues, finding equipment, and checking people in. There was some confusion the evening before where the equipment could be picked up. The equipment was there and all was good!

Upon pick up, there should be separate lines for people who have existing reservations and then a separate line for those that are just walking in. Also the last few times I have rented a U-Haul, they have not been swept out. I always return mine clean. I expect the same from others.

As to the experience at the Morse Rd. location I am happy to submit a positive review. Karen and company have always seemed as helpful as anyone could be considering what I have experienced and witnessed while at that particular agency. I am still not so impressed with the way in which the website functions. There are some issues with the "flow" and at points it seems to be counterintuitive. Having written user interfaces for databases, I am not seeing already provided information appear as each new "order" or "contract" is brought to current status.

However, the reservation was made at the rental location at Westerville Mini Storage for a 7:30 AM pickup. No one bothered to tell us that the office didn't open until 9 AM. Thankfully your national reservation office was able to redirect us to the location on Morse Rd. who handled us effectively.

The 5x8 trailer we rented was an older trailer so naturally, it had more wear and tear (which is fine) but during our time renting it, we had issues with the wiring on the trailer. The trip was from Ohio to California so the lights needed to work. All in all, it was expected to have some bumps in the road but it would have been nice if the trailer was fully ready for us and us not have to worry about tail light issues like we had. The employees were super helpful and our experience with the company was awesome that was my only complaint.

I rent a lot of trailers and the Morse Rd location has been exceptional since Nate has been in the yard hooking up trailers . In the past it would take forever to get a trailer and to get unhooked I would use other locations but in the last year Nate is on the ball and makes for a quick and safe hookup .

The employees cancelled my rental order just be for I got there. Then tried to give me a bigger truck than I asked for, she said the10 foot was not available now, then after I complained a 10' truck miraculously appeared. This has happened before, so I think this may be normal procedure. It looked like the previous rental was hauling dirt and mulch. The inside floor and side walls of the truck were filthy. I was moving my daughter's apartment furniture and I needed to take the time to sweep it and clean the walls. Unacceptable. For almost $200 for a days rental I don't think it was not alot to ask to have a clean rental. I've had 2 college girls for the last 6 years needless to say I am a good customer. Very dissatisfied!

The vehicle was very dirty. Dried mud and dirt in the cab, and the ramp was covered with dried mud clumps, could not use it. Dirt and dust all over the dashboard, cupholder had pot seeds and ashes in it, and the cargo area of the truck smelled like it had been loaded "to the gills" with fish.

My comments are not specific to this location but to the customer care line and website. First I was sent to a corner store who started yelling cause he "only has one truck and the computers were down so he could not help me" then when trying to return the truck, I spoke to two female reps who were both less than helpful one was extremely rude and hung up when I requested a manager. The website had no record of my rental which prohibited me from returning the truck after hours to which she said I would be responsible although I was speaking to a company rep who I'm sure could have remedied the issue instead of making it worse. More customer care training is in order.

This was overall poor experience. I made an online reservation and when I went to pick up my truck the gentleman told me it wouldn’t be possible. So I had to call in, was transferred 3 times, then had to drive to another location to get the truck. I wasn’t give a discount or anything. Poor process. Had to awkwardly PROVE our secondary phone number worked? We were renting a trailer not stealing it. Then told I needed to call an 800 number when I returned it. Tons of odd processes that in my experience have never had to do before. Made us feel very odd and not a good experience at all. We then returned the trailer multiple days early and did not receive any credit back. Poor customer service, poor handling, poor business model. But when you have a product people “need” it doesn’t matter how you treat them or charge them I guess.

Don't scam your customers by marking the fuel level above the actual level in order to fraudulently charge an additional fuel charge despite the vehicle being returned with a fuel level ABOVE the actual level at pick-up. If you would take the extra 30 seconds to fill up the truck before making it available to the customer, there would be no issue with return fuel levels.

The unit broke down 4x on the highway. Stalled and the engine shut off 2x on state route 23 and 270 and Lazelle road. The vehicle engine violently shakes and slips out of gear. This vehicle should have not have been sent out as it is not safe to drive. All of my belongings fell over because of the vehicle shaking and took me an extra 2 hours to sort and move.

If a customer books online and selects a preferred pick up location and you are not able to accommodate that location, the customer should not be charged the additional mileage to and from the preferred location. It isn't the customers fault that the truck was not available at their preferred location. The staff was nice enough, which is why I would still recommend this location to a friend but I was not happy that I had to pay for an additional 30 miles because I couldn't go to the location 3 miles from my house.

Myself and several other customers returning U-Haul trucks wetter searching for at least 30 mins and had to wait to return the key the next morning during business hours.
