Speed the check-in process. Although I checked-in online in advance of arriving at UHaul, I still had to wait awhile for the customer ahead of me to complete check-in. Maybe having a self-serve check-in counter would help. Thanks

U haul is sending me a receipt for a dolly that I Rented out on 11/28/2019 and returned the next day on 11/29/2019. Today is 1/17/2021 and somehow the dolly is showing up as returned today and I somehow owe money for a rental that I already paid when I returned the dolly over a year ago. That dolly was returned in the city of Westminster, CA. I live in Bakersfield, CA almost 3 hours away. There's no way I drove almost 3 hours to return a dolly from 14 months ago

On another note I rented a truck and found it was filthy. I was disappointed and didn't feel comfortable that it was sanatized. I was sent to a third party location to pick up the truck. Who's primary business is renting wedding supplies. They wore no masks. Clearly no monitored by UHaul corporation. Very disappointing.

We had the best experience dealing with Daniel Desmond. We shipped a couple of U-boxes from Dallas to your location. We came in because the agent in Dallas had promised something that was false. Daniel listened to our complaint and came up with a solution. He turned an unhappy customer into renting a storage unit from your location. He is a great asset to your company. We drove the truck 28 miles and your company fraudulently charged us 10,5 gallons of gas. Your truck does not only get 2,8 miles to the gallon. I am in the process of seeking council as I am sure we are not the only ones.

Don't overcharge or add charges that don't apply. I picked up a trailer at 10:15am and returned it at 1:15pm same day. The person that checked the return in said he would email me a receipt. I never received it and called same day. Person on the phone said I would not be charged any other fees or after hour fees since it was returned same day normal hours. When I got the recipes there was after hours service fees. Receipt shows trailer was returned day later. Had to call again to get charge taken off then was told I would have an answer from the on-site manager within 72 hours. Not worth the hassle for renting a trailer for 3 hours and being over charged

Customer service was less than fantastic.. Melvin assisted me in my vehicle rental and seemed to be annoyed that he had to help me. And couldn't answer any questions I had about the rental or where I could return the truck other than this location. As I was traveling a bit far to my destination. 10/10 would not recommend this location as the employees need a lesson in basic customer service care.

When I checked the rental Trailer back in, staff told me they would send me a close out email. By nighttime, no email was received. I had to call several times to get my reservation closed out. Everything was great until then, but getting closed out was such a hassle I can't recommend this location.

Make sure they're told that you have to pay for mileage as well. The guy asked how many miles we were traveling , which doesn't make a difference if you're going to be charged for them anyway...am I right?!

I can't believe this location is trying to rip me off. First I was not explained clearly how the after hours drop off proccess works. I went to website to verify my truck return but no one told me I had to do that at the parking lot. This is a new thing and you are punishing your customers who are not used to this new thing by charging me 20 $. I even called customer service last night and informed them that website is not letting me to verify. They said they were going to put a note so store would not charge me. But that was not enough. Also I returned the truck with same level gas but I am charged 2 gallons. I will dispute both of these. I used U-haul many times and never saw a place trying to rip me off like this. I am expecting you to return those extra charges immediately.

Was disrespected by staff, used foul language. I checked in using app just as I was told in confirmation email. Staff (2 men) told me they thought I was gonna steal the truck? Why? I have no idea maybe because I was hispanic? Was told there trucks were stolen on both there shifts because they're newer trucks ? I don't know why they would think I would steal a truck? Very disrespected been to many other locations and was treated with respect. They apologized as I they noticed I was upset. I only needed truck for 2hrs max just so I can pick up a TV from a store since it did not fit in my 2 door. Men should also learn how to wear their mask properly.

I rented a 26' and used it for 3 miles only. When return it. I was charged 48 $plus 7 $plus 57 $. The gas level was just a little off when I returned it. Don't know why the charge was so high. I emailed one of the worker and they said they'll get back to me. But they never did. I never had a bad experience with any place like this location. I would not recommend coming here

The manager berated an employee for taking too long a break in front of the customers. The truck was filthy. I reserved 2 dollies, only 1 available - except to purchase - which is fishy. The smartphone check for mileage / gas / condition didn't accept my input so left without. Upon return same manager did not check the truck, only said he'd email a receipt. Which didn't come til 3:30am. Overall very unprofessional. Will not return.

The poor review is not with the Garden Grove location, is with the Brookhurst, Anaheim location where we reserved the truck for Sat, Nov 14th, 9am, I took a Taxi, since it was a few miles, got there, and they told me the 15' truck I rented was at the Garden Grove rental. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT!!! so I call the taxi to take me there, when I arrived truck wouldn't be available til 2pm,PRETTY UPSET, but I ended up reserving it for Sun Nov15th, 9am, call Taxi again to take me home, much farther. Very, very bad service from Brookhurst rental, spent almost 60 $just on Taxi Service,,,should be compensated for all my trouble....Will see how your Customer Service can make this inconvenient experience right.

I emptied my unit clean. It was after office hours so I had to call in to close my account which is what I wanted anyway because of covid. The location never answers the phone and so everytime I called I got transferred to the company hotline. I spoke to several representitives who couldn't make contact with the location itself. Each time they put a note on my account saying what I was requesting and telling them to call me back in an email. They never called. Then I got billed for the next month and tried again. This rude representative said the only way I could close the account is to go down there in person because I had fill out paperwork. That was a lie. If I am at risk of covid I shouldn't have to go in to the location. She said I would be continuously "billed for the rest of my life" if I didn't go down there myself. There was no paperwork to be filled out. Your staff lied to me and wouldn't help me even when I begged for help.

When you reserve a rental, and confirm the day before pickup that everything is good to go, make sure it is! I arrived to pick up the trailer and was told it was not there. I had to delay my move by 24 hours! NOT Professional!

The location opens on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., which is a bit late for people who are trying to move ... open earlier. Also, there are two entrances, one of which clearly indicates that it is the entrance, so everyone lines up there waiting for the store to open. Then the employee opens the other door and people rush inside ... ignoring the order of the other people patiently waiting. This is not right.

Hi , We were ready to leave with our truck but notice that the airconditiong didn't work, we ask the attendant that was next to us preparing another vehicle to send out but he was rude to us and ignored us when trying to speak to him . When I walked in to process my truck return the girl that worked there was arguing with a customer (major eyerolls included) she apparently had lost the keys to his rental return and it clearly caused a major issue. I had intended on complaining about SEVERAL things. Including the fact that it took me over 35 minutes to locate my truck keys as the same that was arguing with that customer had prepped my truck.....that included her locking the keys to my truck in the wrong truck (the reason it took me 35 minutes to locate my keys) she left the truck door wide open with my requested pads missing and the dolly (that I did not order) detached and laying lose in the back of the truck. I also had a huge gauge in one of the rear truck tires. The gentleman that checked us out was extremely polite and that is literally the only pleasant thing about this rental experience.

I will rate the GM as exceptional as he knew the issue I was having in Victorville prior to his helping me get a trailer in oc. The man who tried to help me during pick up was arrogant and raised his voice and was assuming I u sees told his half efforts at communication. Needs more training. His job is customer service - i would have been better served using a kiosk rather than interfacing with him. Good Morning thanked me for returning the equipment early and I mentioned to him it was the least I could do because he helped me out so I could finish my transition.

I did not receive a copy of the final charge. The gentleman said it would be emailed. I waited a bit, he reassured me it would be emaileD, and I felt odd just waiting. As of today the final cost or paid invoice has not been received. Awkward and Disappointing. Otherwise the location and people were just fine.

Hello, I had an appointment to pick up the Uhaul at 10:00 am. But I had to wait 30 minutes, nobody showed up, the store was closed. I contacted customer service, it took me another 30 minutes. I made the decision to drive to this location. there was no staff stayed at the counter. They gathered together in the front. there were 2 customers waiting before me. I had to wait another 45 minutes to start all the reservation procedures again. It delayed my moving time for 2 hours. Another problem was I booked a 15" truck. But a 15" truck was not available at that time. I had to rent a 20" truck with more cost and it was not comfortable to drive like the small truck. Best regards, Kevin Bui.

After having a very stressful night where I was told Uhaul did not have a truck for me to rent, although I had a previous reservation, I arrived at the Westminster's storage office the following day to be told I could no longer rent an already reserved storage unit under the same contract. I stood there mouth dropped, with a last minute 1day 332 $Dollar Penske Rental truck, driven one way over 50 miles, loaded with every item my disabled mom owned. I was confused about having to pay what looked like close to 300 $to rent a storage unit. However, "Captain Save A Customer" came to my Rescue. "Dan Desmond" is my Super Hero!! He swooped in and listened to me vent, heard my story and cleaned up a mess he did NOT create. Dan was patient, friendly, welcoming and got me a smaller perfect size storage under the previous contract. Also, while helping me, Dan went the extra mile to give another customer his own personal bottled water who asked to buy water. "Dan is the Man" and is a major appliance to Uhaul. He helped me trust in Uhaul again. Thank you Dan

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.

This place and staff are all first rate. My belongings were covered in rat droppings after I moved out. But I understand it's probably an ongoing issue and noticed the traps when I moved in. Thank you
