This is the best experience I have had with a business in a long time. Why, when I called to schedule, the employee was positive, upbeat and got me right in to put a trailer hitch on. I was quoted a great price as I shopped around, the appointment was on time and done quickly. I had a small concern which was quickly remedied. The final bill was even lower than the quote. The move in instructions are a bit complicated. I came in the first time on Thanksgiving Day after renting a space on line. I received the codes on line but it wasn't clear which box I was supposed the enter the *_____# code; so, I tried it on the wrong building first. Then on the right one but received a you have to set up your code message. I came in the next day and the two young men at the front counter were very helpful and I was squared away.

For this location everything was great. A suggestion to Uhaul corporate, please equip your trucks with cruise control and a seat with a little more adjustment for comfort. After over 20 hours and 1000 miles my back and hips still hurt 3 days later.

Pittsburgh Street location was excellent. Grand view Location the guy who checked me out didn't know what he was talking about or he had very little experience they never let me know that they could upgrade you to a bigger truck or you could possibly not have your truck this location needs some work..

We reserved our truck online. Since we live in North East we picked there as the pick up and drop off and it was approved and scheduled. Next thing you know we get an email telling us the pick up is 25-30 miles further away adding close to 60 miles or 60 $to our trip. Seeing that we had to move that day we had to scrap up more money. Not to mention the car used more gas to drop and pick up the driver. The staff was decent but there was garbage in the cab of the truck and only 1/4th of a tank of gas in it. The truck was in good shape and ran well.

I had to wait for the vehicle be serviced. I got on the road and there was no clock or radio. I called the location and they did not pick up the phone. I called an other local location and ,they picked up the phone and try to solve the problem. Once again I called and the pick up location did not answer there phone. I called road side help they took all my information and the noted it on my reservation. I received a called from the pickup location and talked to a man named M. he said it should be working ,just turn it on, I said no it don't work. This vehicle was not serviced. He said discount and that was the end of the conversation. I drove 368 miles with out a radio, you try it. I'm not using my cell phone for a service I rented. I retuned the vehicle formed them the radio was not working, the man working said 10,00 $ off. Your big discount was less then % 0.03. Can U-Haul afford that amount.

We had to rent 4 storage spaces instead of giving us 2 large ones or looking around for to large ones the guy on Pittsburgh Ave I think his name was Matt was not friendly or helpful

The personnel is exceptionally helpful. I had a problem with the door not opening due to my items shifting and blocking the track. The personnel teamed up and worked together to fix the issue. They were kind and courteous and they didn't stop trying until the issue was resolved.

Despite the truck I reserved not being available due to a late return, Matt and his staff were able to quickly find me a comparable replacement with minimal impact to my day. I would highly recommend this location to any friends going forward.

I was completely happy doing business with Uhaul. It was an inexpensive way to move my things, They are open on Sundays so the hours were convenient for me.. The Staff was friendly and very helpful. Plan to move more things from Durham NC soon and will use them again for sure.

Figure out away that stores and internet resources communicate better as I made my reservation online only to have store call telling me on day of pickup they had no truck. Moving is stressful enough!

Easy drop off process - In & Out

The man who was at this facility spoke only as needed, was not very helpful or kind. He handed me the key and pointed in the direction the vehicle was. When I returned the vehicle, with a half tank extra fuel due to my error, he spoke and offered mileage assistance. I left feeling satisfied with this response. The man took the keys and said he would email my receipt. I feel he does this so he can get away, undisputed, with ridiculous additional fees. When I got my receipt via email, he added an hour to my return time charging me for an additional day as well as a cleaning fee (i hauled brand new clothing items) and posted an 18 $fuel credit for 15 gallons of extra fuel in which you cannot buy less than 3 $anywhere right now. I feel there was at least 50 $in ludicrous fees. Completely insulting, I would never go back to this uhaul location. I read reviews on google that indicated this facility was poorly ran and should have declined to take the van except this was the only location in Erie that had the vehicle I needed. I will give uhaul one more try, at a different location, if I receive similar treatment I will never again return and certainly spread the news of this unfortunate experience.

We rented a 26' truck, it had AZ plates and it honestly was hardly in fair condition. It drove like garbage, sounded like it had a pretty bad exhaust leak, and the exterior was atrocious. Ironic they advertise "gentle ride" on the side. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful though, we needed to change our pickup time and extend our drop off time as plans fell through and through again, and never once was any of that an issue with them. It was handled promptly and pleasantly, more so than I expected.

AC fan worked intermittently. Inside of windshield was greasy / streaky. Checkout sheet showed "Full" when it was actually about half-way between 7/8 and Full, but I returned it Full in order to avoid a charge. The key for the lock chained to the overhead door turned in the lock, but the lock would not open - had to use my own lock. These are all minor, but you should know that is wasn't perfect. The truck I rented was not there when I arrived because the previous user did not return it on time. Perhaps schedule returns and pick-ups with more time in between, or contact the late user sooner to remind them to get it back in.

I reserved a truck at a different location, based on what was available to me online. When the order was confirmed, I had to actually go to a different location, which added approximately 17 miles/17 $additional to my rental. That is my only complaint. They should have deducted the additional mileage. Merci!

My reservation was lost. After looking several times online I called to ask questions and reserve the unit so I could be confident it was what I needed. The reservation was lost. Then it was found and was totally different than what I was told. It was specifically what I didn't want. The worst part is that my phone call and hold time was over an hour. Long over an hour. Then I inquired about renting a truck. I was told there were trucks for my move available over the weekend. I decided to go to the store and check in and sign papers like I was told.. and they couldn't find my reservation for the unit and then found I was charged, checked in and wasted a trip for the wrong unit anyway. Then.. I asked about the truck rental and figured I'd take care of that while I was there and I was told there's nothing and they were overbooked! This was only few hours after I wasted time on the telephone. I was upset about the multiple set backs and being inconvenienced more than once. The storage unit is clean however there are gaps in the broken cealing cover and I can see above the unit. I'm not sure what the problems are but I have been happy. It's uhaul in the past. This time I was very disappointed. I don't have time to hold an hour trying to file a complaint. It obviously isn't going to help my situation if there's nothing available. I can't afford to waste money in the middle of a move
