I drove up to the truck drop off. The guy never said a word except do you want a paper receipt or an email receipt. He never said “how are you” , “did you have any problems”, “thank you for using U-Haul. He did not count the pads I brought back, he said Nothing. He walked off inside. He came back with my receipt, handed it to me, said nothing. Apparently I was charged 2,29 $ for over mileage. He did not explained my receipt or what or why I was charged. He didn't say have a nice day. He never said another word. Not good bye, thank you for using U-Haul. Nothing. Both locations had the absolutely worse customer service and interaction. I felt like a second class citizen that was not appreciative of my business, nor cared. I have always loved by the quote “go where you are celebrated not where you are tolerated”. I will never be back to U-Haul and I will do my best to discourage anyone ever again to use U-Haul. In fact I might just go work for the competition just to do my part to help people make moving a more enjoyable and LESS STRESS FREE experience. People moving have enough stress and problems. They don't need to be treated like a dollar sign and herded like TOLERATED cattle through a process SO U-Haul can make a buck. Good bye U-Haul.

I could not get anyone on the phone at this location at all. I called multiple times during the day and every time it said my wait time was one hour. I don't have time to wait for more than 5 minutes for some to answer the phone at a business just so I can extend a truck rental or return it after hours. Both of which I needed to do an neither of which I could. I rented a 10' truck for 2 days and less than 20 miles. I COULD NOT get someone to answer the phone to extend or let me return the truck after hours as I did not have a ride during the day to leave the truck. I tried the app and it didn't even find my order number. I called the national number and waited for over 20 minutes just to speak to someone even then who noted on my account file that i was trying to extend the rental. Now I just checked my bank account and these people have STOLEN or are trying to steal over 850 $. If these people actually try to take 850 $for a truck I used for 2 days rental they will be in serious trouble. As will Uhaul. I suggest whoever reads this gets it to whomever is in charge and stop these crooks from charging my card simply because they have the number on file. I repeat. Since I CANNOT get anyone on the phone at this location AT ALL and I COULD NOT return the truck during the day during business hours so I return it 15 hours early. The rental was 19,95 $ per day.

The employee checking me out could not operate your computer software. He had to ask another employee for help twice then had to have help from a senior employee. They first gave me a unit that had a binding roll up door. When I brought it to their attention, their response was “if it leaves here in working order, that's the way it has to come back. It looks ok to me.” Based on their response, I refused that unit & requested a unit with clamshell doors. My drop off location was Trenton, Tn. When I made my reservation on-line it gave me the drop off location of Trenton, but when I picked the unit up, I was told that I had to drop it off in Jackson, Tn. which is an 80 mile round trip for me. You guessed it, I'm not real happy with these people.

I could not set up a drop off location when doing reservation online. they told me in Tampa to drop off at closet location. Received a call on my way to Jax telling to drop off on Beaver Street. When they called a second time I picked up call, lady said they could not take unit at that location, I told her I was dropping off on blanding blvd, was told i could not. I told I was not driving 20 miles to drop off trailer when there was a Uhaul store 2 blocks from my house, after arguing with her, she finally relented to letting me drop off trailer at that location. this really upset me that uhaul wanted to dictate where I could drop off trailer after I was told in Tampa I could drop it at the location closet to my home.

We got a Chevy Silverado and we need one next Tuesday again the truck was great but we ended up driving it there and back the next day because the place messed up on where we needed to move I was hoping for a refund or a discount next Tuesday if at all possible, I always recommend

I had my reservations canceled multiple times and had to drive an hour and a half out of my way to pick up my truck. Then my reservation for my storage unit was changed twice on me. I bought boxes that were not shipped in time to use. It was an overall awful experience

Your representatives are a reflection of you the board. It was very disappointing to hear that your reps are working 70 to 90 hrs a week and not getting paid properly. I do not support cheap labor and the rep that service me, he was outstanding I mean a fantastic worker. We talked and I force this personal information out of him. Trust me the business was packed and only two workers. Do better U-Haul good attitudes result in better profit. The worker was the only reason I rented your equipment.

Not this location, however drop off locations in Jacksonville as a whole. This was the third location I tried to drop off the trailer and was told by each location (in Jacksonville), I am not accepting drop offs.(including the Blanding location). When rented I was told I could drop at any uhaul center. Making the customer drive almost 40 minutes from the destination when a drop off is 5 miles away and being told the above isnt helpful. I tried to pick a location online also and none were available for drop off.

Expense. You should offer mileage tiers like pricing between 1-20 miles, 20-50, 50-100, and so on. 0,99 per mile is so expensive

The truck was dirty inside. Needs a good deep cleaning. The steering wheel was dirty and sticky. The back was pretty clean though. I reserved a furniture dolly online a week in advance and when I got there they were like oh no we dont have one of those. Tried the uhaul down the street nothing. So I had to use utility dolly not easy. What's the point of reservations online if you dont have it? They guy told me they never have them available.

Gas gauge stuck and ended up costing me almost 40$ extra. I was told it would be 77¢ a mile, then upon returning it I was charged 99¢ a mile. When I spoke to a manager hisonly reply was call cooperate, we can't help you here...

Check-in went pretty good, the representative drove the truck up and basically through me the keys. I started to walk around the vehicle to inspect for damages. When I opened the rear door I noticed that the dolly did not have a seal installed. When I mentioned it to the rep, he installed one. If I had not caught this would I have been charged for it's use, probably. When I picked up my wife she couldn't buckle the passenger side seat belt. The portion of the belt that is located at the seat had fallen behind the seat and we couldn't reach our hand in and get to it. This is a major safety concern and must be addressed. When I returned the truck I had to pull into the exit lane, trucks were backed up to the street. When I went inside there was one rep, a huge line and it felt like the air conditioning was broken.

Luke was wonderful. He went above and beyond to help me out. He even stopped on his way out of the parking lot after closing time and helped me get the trailer unhooked and pushed into the correct location for returned equipment. I highly recommend this uhaul location.

I think Uhaul needs to allow their employees more room when it comes to dealing with irate customers. The customers I saw them deal with were rude yet they handled it EXCELLENT with poise, dignity and grace. They definitely went above and beyond what I've seen others do....If there was anything to change it would be 24hour access extra charge being told up front.

This is a busy location, so there is a wait to speak to someone in person when you get there. They are all very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend the staff at this location. Additionally, the storage is very convenient, and the online check in process is easy, quick, and has 24 hour access.

To actually pull into the parking lot was a mess as soon as you turn in that's where they clean and rent out trucks so someone was always blocking the way the lights in the unit only stay on for a very short period of time about 2 minutes I'm so happy I have my belongings out of this place. So I don't have to ever deal with that location again.

Not pro-rating a move out rate seems unfair to me. On the occasions I've utilized a comparable facility, rates are prorated for move in and not. I vacated 5 days into new month but no refund issued.
