First storage I got sold to Me straight said has holes don’t sell unit went in had to pay to get a outside unit instead we start to open it and move in realize holes in the wall and another red tag says to not sell unit has holes in it by this time office was closed had to move into a 125$ unit just to have holes in there no lock with a key had to go buy one organization and communication to the units would make a huge difference in this experience.

The 15' truck I rented was pretty well used and the back door did not function properly. When the door was opened it tended to fly up inside and get stuck. Twice I had to manually pry the latch mechanism out so the food would come down and it took a great deal of effort to get it closed all the way and properly latched. I've rented many trucks over the years and have never had this problem so I know it wasn't normal. Also, it rained hard yesterday on my way back with the empty truck and there were only my personal packing blankets in the truck's cargo area. When I went to move them to my car they were soaking wet and upon further inspection it appeared that the truck bed might leak. Not good. Definitely needs to be checked out and fixed before sending out again. Overall not my best experience with UHaul.

My daughter did the booking of the storage and U-Haul online. Unbeknownst to the both of us we rented a locker as well as a small storage truck. The small storage truck was able to move all of her belongings from a one bedroom apartment the problem came in when we realized at 8 o’clock at night that she rented a locker instead of an actual storage room! Young lady who gave me the keys told me to look for the number on top of the truck and pretty much nothing else I drove around in circles trying to figure where 1546 was 26 and after driving around three circles I figured out that it was in the inside yet so knowing that I had to keep the hall for a longer time and speak to you are represented online who was very helpful and saved my impression for the storage facility the managers I spoke to secondly was very helpful as well but there was a customer service rep or cashier named Liam a young girl not very helpful At all her service was very very unserviceable it was as if I was bothering her she spoke very low and didn’t greet me when I came in like when I came in the second time and was greeted upon arrival.

I had many dents and Mark's on the trailer so I took pictures of everything so I wouldn't be charged for something I didnt do. When I got home and everything was done I got an email saying I had an additional charge for a toll. I paid ALL my tolls along the way. But my choices were pay the small amount or pay more later. Nice way to do business. Fist time renting from uhaul and will be the last.

Manager (Johnathan) was very rude and belligerent. Wouldn't serve me or allow other employees to serve me on my pick up based on clothing choices. Had to comply with clothing requirements to be helped. The trailer we got was older and had a few leaks in it when it rained.

There should be some system in place after hour to return vehicle other than phone service. I pulled in 3 mins after close and because my phone wouldnt pick up my location I was unable to verify turning in the vehicle and was charged extra because of it. Other than that inconvenience service was great!

The app called up a truck for me to pick up that wasn't on the lot. Once the rep came out and saw that he instructed me to just keep selecting another truck until the one in front of us came up. Took about 15 tries...! Not good. One....that should be explained better on line and two...you're going to tell me the app can't identify what trucks are available on the lot your on and have a reservation...? Something wrong there...!

I drove 8 miles and put a little over a gallon of gas in it before returning it. Got charged for gas. Not happy. I'm a frequent renter from this location and if the van gets 15 miles per gallon then 1 gal should have covered it. I think that eyeballing the gas gage is very subjective.

I was told over the phone that any unused moving pads I could return, along as they were still in an unsealed bag, and not get charged but that was not the case. Seems like either the lady on the phone or the lady who I saw upon my returning the truck was not correct. I would not have got 2 packages of them if I lnew this info. It was not a big amount of money, just the principle of getting bad info.

Really unhappy I swept the uhaul out and cleaned it best I could but with the rain the were botching about mud and wanted it mopped out. Yet when I picked that think up there was sand caked everywhere. So I got charged 25$ this place has crazy standards for the return policy anything to bleed people of money

The $19.95 day rental ad is a little deceiving, but I guess I should have read the fine print. $19.95 turned into $98 + gas with the mileage rate and insurance. Other than that, no complaints. This location was extremely well run and final check-in was handled well.

In my experience with Uhaul, when I have come to pick up a truck in the past it is gassed up, pulled up front, and sometimes running. Not this location. The employees sent me out looking for the truck. When I asked for help the first time I was directed in a general direction but misguided. The second time the employee sent me to the wrong truck. Finally they showed me to the right truck that was wedged in between 4 trucks that I had to back all the way out without help. I probably won't use that location again.

Someone there charged me, without my permission, and without my consent, 101.00 after I left. I called the number and they took a message. I blame your corporate policy of shifting all calls to your main headquarters. I could not reach anyone at our rental place to ask for help. I waited 15 to 20 minutes each time I tried to call. Your corporate customer service would NOT give me a local number to reach them. The strap to tie down the wheel was still stuck in the ratchet and we Could not get it out. We could not ask anyone to explain how it worked because we could not reach anyone by phone! Then my husband and I (I in our car and he in the rental truck) got separated on the highway when we had to go BACK to U-Haul to get help with the tiedowns; following him, I got lost in an unfamiliar city. I tried and tried to call my husband at the U-haul place, as I knew that is where he was headed, but I kept getting your corporate headquarters, after waiting 20 minutes or more each attempt. When someone finally answered, they put me on hold and disconnected me. Also, your corporate rental people assigned us a very large truck that was unnecessary to haul our vehicle. We had to pay an exorbitant amount. You can bet that if I can ever help it, and unless it is a dire emergency, I will never do business with U-Haul again, and I am going to tell everyone I know about your rotten customer service. It is a very unfriendly and unhelpful policy to prevent us from calling directly to the U-Haul center with which we are doing business, forcing us to go through corporate customer service and wait and wait and wait, only to end up with no actual assistance, and forced to try, try again. You stink, U-Haul.

I didnt catch the name of the young man who helped us but he was top notch. We had to transfer a storage unit and he was helpful and knew how to do all the paperwork confidently. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and it was so much easier than we expected. You have a very good employee on your staff and should be proud that he represents you so well.

Eatman helped me after being chided By a woman about not having a mask on. My family has a medical exemption and they were not honoring it. However, after explaining the law to Eatman, and offering to step outside to do the transaction, he kindly offered to help. Please update your staff on the laws. People with medical conditions aren’t required to wear a mask. You also shouldn’t have every employee asking a customer about a mask. It becomes bullying at that point. But you have a great employee in Eatman. He was Professional and calm and had a great personality through the process. Thumbs up to him!

I chose deliberately not to go on autopay because I hoped to stop needing the storage unit sooner. Paying month by month was far more stressful that it need be because of being able to make the payment on only a single day--impossible to pay on receipt of the reminder. Big help in relocation of My daughter family. As a learning experience for myself I now know to take pictures of starting fuel and odometer gauges because on more than one occasion what the office thought was the starting fuel was wrong. I paid 16$ Refueling yesterday for a 5 mile trip. Was so happy to be done with the move that I didn’t dispute. Rating would be Excellent if not for that.

I used the online after hours support to return the trailer. The online portal to return the trailer repeatedly malfunctioned preventing me to reach an expected "completion" page leaving me to believe that I had not completed the return process. Nevertheless, I left the trailer at the designated drop-off location at the U-Haul facility and planned to return to the facility the next morning to complete the return. A few hours later I received an email from U-Haul confirming the return. Summary: Please check the online return software as it appears to be broken.

The phone service to contact someone from this U-Haul facility never worked well. I had a hard time contacting anyone to ask questions or reply to voice messages left on my phone. I also had someone hang up on me and never call me back, even though I tried to call back again. The storage unit was okay but it was dingy and the whole facility just needs some upkeep.
