When I reserve and check in online it’s usually expected that I receive quick service. The front desk agent was not wanting to give me the key after I completed all of the check in requirements on my phone. She insisted on selling a tow hitch and helping with install causing delay with me picking up the vehicle. After asking and explaining a 3rd time she finally handed me the key and stated that she doesn’t always follow skip the line. Normally, I could understand this but in this case all she needed to do was give me the key. This is extremely annoying and picking up a vehicle should never take 45 minutes.

The office ladies were nice, the truck was clean. The truck wouldn't start once we reached our destination. Tow truck driver came and it still wouldn't start after a while he was able to fix the positive battery cable with a paper clip. So we returned it back to the store and willl rent another day since we wasted so much time waiting for it to be fixed

I rented a 6x12 trailer. The gate was only 4feet 9 inches. It was not wide enough to put what I needed in the trailer. I returned it within 30 minutes because it would not work, but still was charged as I was told there were no refunds. On your site, it stated nothing about gate width. I feel I should have gotten a refund or at least a partial refund.

They said one price but I was charged two times on my card .once the price they quoted me and then 3.68 for some other reason which they did after I was gone so I dont know the reason

The office is SUPPOSED to open at 7. We were there and waited (paying an employee to wait) for about half an hour. The truck was supposed to have a half tank of fuel and only had barely a quarter tank. We disputed the fuel but it appears that we have been charged for the half tank. The UHAUL employee explains that she doesn't have access to the gas card key and the gas tanks are siphoned overnight. Sorry, but not an acceptable solution for the fuel for the customer.

The girls worked hard to get me going and did a great job. I was ill prepared really as this was a spur of the moment motorcycle purchase and I needed a trailer fast. But they had me setup and going fast and actually fun.

I have no complaints about my experience at all but am willing to share an idea that might help. I prechecked my license number, etc. 6 days before my reservation but apparently it wasn't in the system. So, I think you should have a computer at the desk for people to check in while the sales rep is helping other customers...it might move things along.

Provide a full tank of fuel so that customers don't have to guess the amount used. Because of a gauge that delayed registering I turned the truck back in with twice what I used with no reimbursement. At the current price of gas I overpaid by about $25.00.

we asked to have the dolly and blankets removed prior to renting the truck. for some reason policy had changed and they would not accommodate us like times before. a sore subject to me as i got charged for using the dolly once before when the band broke....even though it was not used. other than that a great place and friendly. i use the rentals many times a year but i may have to look elsewhere because of this new policy

This comment is actually for the young lady that was behind the counter today. She was the most delightful person helpful understanding and funny. Doing all this by herself because being short-staffed and she handled that place like a pro I would totally recommend this location for the fact of her she was just totally amazing.

Everything was great! But I do want to give kudos to one person in particular. Who really stood out. I believe her name may have been Kathy or Shannon she was working the morning of pick up. Being deaf I sometimes have trouble with communicating with people in customer service. Sometimes people just don’t understand or do not respond well. Your employee was so kind and compassionate. She even attempted to use sign language with me that she explained she had learned a long time ago. She made the experience personalized, fast and easy. Give her a raise :-)

I reserved the truck for my move for Saturday. I get a call from the place on Saturday at 10AM that the truck is not available and that they booked another one for me in woodland which was 17 miles away and 30 minutes drive. I expected UHAUL to not charge me for the extra 17 miles each way but after talking to the location and the corporate they told me that they can't do that for local rentals. I ended up paying $60 more for the extra mileage and the gas.

I had issues with the self check in far 8am and had to wait for store to open at 9 am. The computer program was so slow by the time I got out and in my uhaul truck it was already 10:30 am. I reserved the truck for 12 hours but decided I needed more time so I called to extend time to 24 hours this was very easy. I had a minor incident at the gas station I didn't realize how close I was to the cars parked at the gas pumps. I turned to get close to the pump and turned to sharp which caused me to scrape the back end of a car (near rear tire) with the trucks driver side rear. The lady if the car was understanding. I did purchase the insurance for the rental so that covered the truck damage, I had my own liability insurance for myself which will cover damages for car. It was an overall good experience. I would recommend that someone from the IT department look at the programming or system in the Woodland location to better serve customers.

The gentleman who helped me when I picked up the equipment (Adam Truck I believe ) was rude and very un welcoming when I arrived in the morning and was the same way when i returned (his excuse when I returned equipment was “I’m not on the clock”). If I based my decision to rent from this store again solely on my interaction with him I would not come back. The woman who did check me back in was fantastic, very helpful and polite and really seemed to want to be there.

When I first walked in there was an empolyee already helping out a customer - there was an issue with your UBox rental and they were trying to resolve that. I could tell things were getting heated on both ends. The lady who helped me said she hadn't done this a lot before - maybe she was new? Not to sure, but that was okay I understand that if someone is new it will take a longer time. Another lady came in and was helping her a bit. However, the system was down and it was taking a long time to load the page and get the reservation. The man that was helping the other cutsomer had come back to the office space and said, "those people are idiots." I was shocked to hear him say that in front of another customer. The ladies before that were gossiping about him as well, how he closed up shop the previous day without notifying his boss or other coworkers. I think the chaos of the system being down brought a lot of stress to the staff and they couldn't handle it. I've never been to a place of buisness where you hear other employee gossip about their coworkers to customers and where employees say bad things about other customers in front of customers. Overall, the whole process took about 50 mins. I almost cancelled my reservation because of all the chaos and they processing taking way too long.

First, the person who helped hook up the trailer didn't know what they were doing causing damage to the truck. This transaction was on 9/14/2019. Once the damage occurred, the two truck was sent to pick up the trailer. It is now Sept 25, and the hold charges on my credit card are still not taken off. In the past week, I have made seven phone calls to not only the original location, but to customer service as well. Just today I spent over an hour on and off hold with someone trying to find out information, then was cut off. When I called back to reconnect to the original person, nobody could find the particular person I was talking to. I have had it with your poor lack of service and timely resolution. I have contacted my credit card company to file a dispute and fraud charges on my credit card. Maybe that will get someone's attention, I highly doubt it. I have never had any problem with Uhaul for the past 40 years of renting from them, but at this point the location personnel and the customer service are something to be less than desired. I don't think I will every use Uhaul again just because of the being lied to for over a week, and the attitude of blowing me off by telling me each time they are going to fix the problem, which remains unsolved at this very moment.

Poor experience, gave me a trailer with different stock number than the one listed on the contract, making the return horrible. Also, female employee was not familiar with the computer system, hookup was prolonged because of other trailers in the way. Uhaul lost my business.

I was satisfied with the vehicle, but the self check-in process seems to be faulty. As an international drivers license (DL) holder, I couldn't complete my check-in with my DL photos. The chat support personnel asked to upload my passport, but that was not available from the mobile application. I spoke to the office personnel, who showed me that the back side photo of my DL was missing, which was not shown on the app or told to me by the chat personnel. Still, I was not prompted from the app to re-upload the photos or could manually do so. The office personnel helped me to finish the process, although he also had difficulty with uploading the photos from his phone and it took him over 15 mins. Thank you

When picking up the equipment everything went fine. When returning the equipment they lady assisting me made several rude and inappropriate comments. Then the next day I received a call from uhaul stating my equipment was over due. And when checking my bank statement I noticed I was charged twice. And after speaking with 3 uhaul representatives it's still not resolved. And I was told I would have to wait till tomorrow

The furniture dolly I reserved was apparently out of stock. I needed it. Then I was told it would come off of my bill by the person giving me the key. Then when I checked back in, I was told it would be taken off my bill. Still on the bill.
