The only issue I had was when I was a day late or so in payment, I was charged a late fee, which I was not aware of this fee. When I asked about the charge, I was told if I change my paying method to auto pay the charge will be waved! That never happended. I made several attempts and I got nowhere!!!! Please advise. Excellent Customer Service!

Your alternative contact info requirement is overly cumbersome and annoying. Other persona has to answer the phone to proceed. With the amount of Scam calls going around no one picks up the phone anymore for a # they don't know. Also, when requesting to scan QR code for driver's licence with the phone you can't proceed if I deny access to U-haul to access my camera and pictures, associate had to do it by hand. I will not allow any corporation to unnecessary access my personal info and then sell my data and make money of me. Change it! Other than that, not too shabby :)

Cleanliness can be improved. Besides that everything else is well, customer service is great

When I arrived in the morning I was the only costumer there not one employee acknowledged me standing online until I spoke up..then they were unorganized and dismissive...when I went back that same day to return the rental the new employees behind the counter were non receptive and the man outside was rude and unprofessional.

People inside weren't wearing masks.

Outside staff who drive Audi not wearing a mask and rude

The staff were very helpful and accommodating! Even when there was a long line, they kept their cool and gave the same professional attention and courtesy to each customer. I felt well-taken care of, especially given the anxiety of moving day.

I went to the Woodside NY location believing someone would be there and there was no one there at 7:30PM. Disappointed as they advertise they close at 8PM. I tried calling prior to heading over and their answering service message said they were open.

The gentleman who helped me drop off the truck was funny and helpful. Thank you!

Was told truck had 7/16s of a tank when vehicle had barely above 1/4 tank. Was then told when dropped off that I had only filled it to 3/8ths. Only drove the truck 26miles.

Make sure trucks have a full tank of gas and are well maintained and clean. My truck had less than half a tank, was dirty damaged and was badly in need of service. Not worth my money. Very disappointed

Storage and truck rental customer for many years. Can only state good things about this particular facility, reliable and safe trucks, always clean office area, hallways, and restrooms. Staff very nice, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the business. Manager, Nas Matthews friendly and always willing to accommodate customer’s needs and concerns in any given situation. Used other u-Haul facilities in the past but this is by far my favorite. Kudos to Nas and her A-1 staff!

No Walk thru truck inspection I have Full coverage insurance Didn't put it on my policy Half ass work charged ma a hand truck dolly that I told one of the workers that's the seal was broke n says they don't have anymore 7+ fk the money Do r job mf All that the Gas changed me 10 bucks for miss calculation it have pics sent them n no response Extra $20+ for no reason U don't want to do ur job then gtfofh

The truck was clean however it was not well maintained. The engine races with barely any gas being applied, then lurches forward when it corrects itself. It may be something with the transmission. I rented a 20' truck last week and had no issues with it like this one. It almost caused me to swerve a couple of times while I was on the highway, trying to get home. Please take that truck out of service and have it repaired. It's too dangerous to drive, especially if most of your customers do not ordinarily drive big trucks. Thank you

Great people working at this facility very clean vehicle the only problem I had was the strong smell of marijuana in the vehicle i'm assuming the people who had this prior to me had a good time but I will definitely recommend anyone who needs to rent a truck do Uhaul...

The lady at the front desk her name is Linda was Patient and kind great customer service.

The first 3 months were a little bumpy as i was transferred from one storage space to a smaller one.. In that transition there was one time i found a lock note for none payment which was incorrect and then another time my card was locked out for none payment and then another time i was charged late fee which again was in correct once the info was looked up.. All three times were handled by the manager Nas Matthew who was very professionally and fare as well as assured me the last time that I will not have my service interrupted again.. I was very satisfied with the outcome and for the rest of the time there i didn't have anymore problems.. Thanks for the professionalism. Jay

the young lady at the desk was not helpful, and kind of rude. I suggest taking corporate cards , a picture of the card was no acceptable even when I provided the phone number and info of the card holder for verification. a corporate card may be used with the authorization of the card holder. I had to use my personal card instead , because the young lady wouldn't even try contacting the manager . valuable time was wasted .

Nothing to improve. The women who helped me out when I arrived was incredible. Not only with me but with every customer and employee I saw her interact with. I forget her name but she was a shorter middle aged white lady with brunette hair. Give this women a raise! The gentleman who help me when I returned was also great.

The woman behind the counter was fantastic. She was helping everyone efficiently and was very courteous. I was very impressed.

It was a convoluted experience. Everything from waiting for agents to verify your emergency contact to literally doing the car inspection myself. I don't remember applying to work here. The vehicle was great. Had zero issues with van. Would recommend streamlining the car-pickup process.

The lady with the tag that says owner is a disgrace has no interest in helping customers and cursed at me when I dare to question the boss disgusting people behind me waiting on line while everyone talking to each other in the back couldn't even hear what she was saying and when I come back because I didn't hear what she said cost me money disgusted to say the least ...!

I had a remarkably excellent experience at this location. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had strict social distancing inside the store which made me feel safe. I had an issue with my reservation which they resolved (couldn't take a trailer because I didn't have electrical plugs so they helped with a truck rental instead). Truly I was shocked at how wonderful they were.

Continue to have friendly staff both for pick-up and drop-off of the rented transportation.

Over the phone they said I can park my car in the lot . But when I got there they said I couldn't.. it was very inconvenient I ended parking 10 blocks away.

The website reserved a size of truck that was unavailable for me the day I was supposed to pick it up. I had to use a smaller truck and take two trips.

Not really. I've had bad experiences at two other uhauls, a different location in woodside , and yesterday in rego park . This uhaul I rented from is the BEST. Polite , informative check in and checkout .

I kept getting messages throughout the day to handle my service over the app - I did it - and had to go through it from the start in person. I was also charged in person but, apparently that was not the real total. At this point, I don't know how much did I spend with Uhaul.

The lack of deck-level loading docks is a glaring deficiency. This made our move-in take a good deal longer than necessary. I asked about the availability of a loading dock before renting, and was told that there was one. The hallway on front of my unit was also too narrow for us to be able to bring some of our furniture into the unit without tipping it up on end.

The sales associate .. Her name is Nas.. Was exceptionally helpful.. She went out of her way to help. Which means a lot. She’s definitely an asset to your team .. Thanks again Nas.. You are appreciated

The staff were very helpful. The manager was on site and very active and she was also very helpful.

The customer rep that help me was extremely slow and didn’t have the basic skills. She had to ask her co workers a question regarding every step. It took a very long time to get a second unit in order and added to my existing account.

I was a customer for almost three years. Never face any problem. Every employee in this location is super nice. And store manager Mattews one of the super nice person i ever meet.

I am upset that i wasn't able to use the app the close out my truck rental. I do not want to pay extra because of a technical issue. Other than that, I had no complaints.

UHAUL facility was great for the time we utilized the services. Fortunately, we were able to find an onsite location on the airport grounds and as a result, no longer needed said services. Since the beginning, nearly 4 months ago, the staff at this location (U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Woodside), specifically, Ms. Nas Mathews, has been an absolute gem to work with. I will definitely refer anyone in need of storage to not only sign with UHAUL, but to specifically use UHAUL of Woodside. I know if given the opportunity and need, I would!! Thank you all. Nas, the general manager of this location is an absolute superstar. There was a very high stress situation that occurred on the property and she handled it very well. I work in the hospitality industry, and I understand the stress she must have been feeling, and she took care of everything. We rented a van and storage unit and everything went smoothly. The only thing I would recommend for the higher ups is to re do parts of the floor in the stoarage area, there are some cracks and imperfections that cause the carts to get stuck which can damage the items on the carts if they fall or shift. Word of advise, get there early if you are renting a vehicle. Uhaul needs to contact a few different people to confirm your identity and for security before they can hand you the keys. This process took us about 15 minutes, but if there’s a lot of people on line, that time will add up. Also, if you are loading things from your car late night around 9pm, park on the left side of the building Or make sure you can’t get boxed in if other people are dropping off their vehicles. We got boxed in but it was at the end of our rental anyway so it worked out. We would definitely rent from them again. Nick P

Overall, I was satisfied with the van rental, picking up the van at Johnson city was a pleasant experience. The personnel in Johnson city were courteous and helpful, but my experience at the BQE location when renting the store locker was not what I expected. The lady that help me wast courteous, she took too long, the information that she need should have in the system, and when she need my information couldn’t even ask me in a pleasAnt manner, also it would be nice to explain where was my locker, how to properly open/get access, no I had to figure it out on my own, and ask another customer, I would suggest to give more trading to the lady that attended me. As for the person who received he van back, he was very helpful and explained me all that I need to do, as it should be, for that I want to thank him and the person in Johnson city as for the lady I think she can do better with proper training.

Very quick and efficient service. Had trouble getting into the storage room with my keycard and the lady who helped me at the desk actually came out to help me without me asking her to do so. It made me feel like I was taken care of. I think her name was estella or something along those lines?

I am still awaiting a call back from customer care and upper management. I spoke to the manager Naj over 2 months ago and she promised a callback the next day because of false promises regarding the product I would receive. She did not! I left dozens of messages and even came in again several times and still she did not call. Finally she called this past Mon. after I had spent literally hours on the phone trying to get customer care and escalate., offered no reason or apology for not fulfilling her promise to call back or adjust things and blaming me with a very rude and abrupt tone, interrupting me and talking over me. When I asked why she had not called back, she interrupted agaon and said rather dismissively "so you want me to escalate?! Ok I'm going to escalate it." I still have not heard from ANYONE. The manager on site there, Naashiha Matthews, was completely un professional and does not take her job serious. She got upset with me because I was making suggestions on to how to resolve an issue of mine, and said she just didn't wanna give me a truck. I guess maybe she felt she was looking incompetent. I was just trying to come up with a solution for a reservation that I paid for. I think I have a right to ask questions. She just didn't have any answers for them, so she got defensive, and then retaliated because she thought she could get away with it. She told her staff member to cancel my reservation right in front my face out of spite. She behaved completely classless. She has no business running a store.

Courteous staff. Helpful and gave me all the info on the facility I needed. Seamless and quick transaction.

The hall to my locker was always dark, it had a motion detector to activate the light but it took a while for it to turn on. Overall good service though. Thank you.

My overall experience with U-Haul—from vehicle rental to storage unit—was excellent. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was greatly appreciated since my needs were under unpleasant circumstances.

Overall experience was efficient. Under these circumstances with COVID19, I wanted to get in and out and I wanted safety. All precautions were taken. Thank you. This was a difficult time for me as Mom passed and we had to clean out her apartment. Your service made it easier.

Great place. The facility is exceptionally clean, especially the bathrooms. There are many carts available to transport your belongings to and from the rooms. Lighting is great. Workers are awesome

This facility is ridiculous. We were mistakenly charged $3,000 for a truck rental (when the charge was $300.) It took more than 5 phone calls of an average of 20 minutes in length to fix the mistake.

We have had a storage unit and rented a car carrier from UHAUL. The staff both in NY and in Blair Nebraska were wonderful. They showed patience and courtesy and always had an upbeat attitude. .

Very clean. Well lit. Just wished self service hours to storage were longer.

Manager and customer service were great. Box was a day late but staff was very helpful and made sure our box was ready when we needed it. and communicated appropriately about the delay.

Too expensive

I always felt safe when visiting my unit. And surprisingly, the bathrooms were always clean!!!! Very important!!! Whenever I had questions, the staff was very helpful.

We needed a last minute storage location on a Saturday afternoon / evening . The manager, went out of her way to help up get setup. I do not have her name, but great customer service. Thank you again.

The people there were very nice but unfortunately did not know how to properly add my second driver, my friend Erik Ciel, which necessitated calling in later to verify and correct their oversight.

Has is very friendly and positive, really good at problem-solving.

The attendant that helped me with my storage unit was very helpful. But the attendants that helped with my return were not very helpful. I had to inform the guy about the chains on the axles.#notagain

Excellent staff had no issues in getting and unloading my U-Box that had been delivered from California.

My belongings were stored here for years, and were absolutely safe. The building was easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly. I used the U-Box service too and it was easy. Thank you!

Had my storage there for more than 2 years and would say it was one of the best storage places.

A/C wasn’t working when moving out in what was supposed to be a climate controlled unit. Can’t imagine how many times this happened while I kept things there. No wonder all my wooden items are warped.

I would have happily continued to rent my unit but the last $10 increase made the $75 a month tag on a 5' by 5' space not worth it.

Truck was not at the facility for pick up. I had to spend more money to call an uber to bring me to another facility. For both moves, there was no dolly in truck after I reserved it. Bad experience.

The reason I have vacated the storage unit is because I recently moved to Brooklyn and also the recent increase to monthly rent. Cubesmart offered a lower rate than U-Haul in Brooklyn.

I did not visit the facility, but I did however notice that my movers received the u box on the trailer backwards.
