You should have an express line for those who made reservations& express check in for ticket service. I waited in line over 30min for my reservation. However everything else was great! Customer service was pleasant & the uhaul yard staff were very helpful& friendly as well. I would use your location again for future moves.

It's a challenge for some of us older folks to use a mobile format to check out the truck. Example: inspecting the truck for gashes or damage before taking the truck out was difficult as the angle of the photos shown did not show the damage we saw and wanted to record. The staff was very helpful in showing us how to upload our concerns and documentation but I would have preferred to do it with paper...a lot less time consuming for me the customer.

The working people didn't help the first time and we had to wait more than 1 hour. 3 employees were just trying to solve a customer's problem. In fact, there was no problem with the customer. They've only been talking for a long time. new customers came and waited. So I waited for my date. And the agent wanted to give me a new appointment. And I said I've been waiting there since my date. had to make a different reservation. and I had to pay more than I planned.

Despite reserving a month in advance, and doing online express check in, had to wait in long line with others who had not even reserved a truck, for almost an hour. There should be a separate line for those with reservations.

The only thing to comment on was the nearly HOUR LONG WAIT in line for the counter to pick up our truck that was reserved online. I don't know what caused it but there has to be some better way

On a Saturday there were only three employees processing customers which was a nightmare it was a half hour wait to get to the intake and some people had not pre-registered which took so much longer and then after 2 customers each one would leave the area for 10 minutes. In addition, the female employee spent too much time "talking" about stuff unrelated to processing. I understand customer service but enough. My reservation was for 9:30 - got there a 9:00 and never left until 10:15 - the best part were the guys outside getting the trucks and people on their way.

There was one gentleman at the counter that was extremely unhelpful. I told him about the mixup in the reservation rate and that I needed to resolve it when I returned the equipment at the store. He basically was useless and would not do anything. Fortunately, the junior employee went to get the manager, who was able to address the issue.

I made an online reservation for June 3rd. When I went in the guy that installs the hitches told me they were way behind and that he didn’t know what to do. He kept tell me he didn’t know how long I would have to wait because they were so behind. It was like he wanted me to just leave. He never apologized and acted as if I was an inconvenience. I told him I would come in on the 4th. I basically wasted my time and had to change my schedule around and he didn’t even say thank you. Also to top it off, it was my daughters birthday on the 3rd and was supposed to pick up here birthday present which was a new bike. I have never had such poor customer service. I honestly feel like I should be refunded the installation fee.

Try to stand on your words. I was quoted some other price for per mile charge and then in a few mins, I am told some other charge. They say calls are recorded it's of no use, it doesn't help a customer. Very Disappointed. I take FOREVER to get hold of customer service representative and they keep on transferring to one another, they better know their job well.

I had the uhaul truck for about 12 hours and was notifed by one of the employees that if I didn't return it with the next 45 min I would be charged $300.00. "Call was recorded" Prior to that when I called to set up getting a storage unit and truck i was missed informed with prices and was told a manager will call me when a 10 ft truck was available. I received a text reguarding the truck, when i got there they said they gave it to someone else! It just seemed like a big scam. Staff needs training they are unprofessional.

Fix your online reservation system. I reserved a truck a couple of weeks in advance. I received an email telling me I could pick it up anytime only to find out my reservation was cancelled. There was no trace of who cancelled the reservation. Fortunately, the owner was able to give us a trailer but this made the day very stressful. I specifically ordered a truck so I wouldn't have to deal with a trailer on narrow, busy streets. To boot, I could have brought my own trailer. Very high marks for the dealer but I am very unsatisfied with U-Haul's reservation system.

I asked for a truck for the 28 & 29th @7:00 am. I got a TEXT saying availability was going to be 12:00 pm..I called and the girl kept telling me about the 30 was my pick up date....and that I didn't have a 7:00 am reservation..she had Zero customer service skills, and had me on hold waiting forever for a managet. The return was WORSE..RUDE guy tells me to pull the truck around back..He NEVER said anything else.I wait in this long line, there were only 2 sales people..slow as can be ( the computers were shut down earlier so people in the line were upset that they had been waiting over an hour) after I put the truck in the back the guy did not do any checks with me. He comes to where JHE TOLD ME TO PARK snatches the keys and ee get in line in the store..after waiting in line 45 minutes we are told we have to do a truck check with the guy..then they wanted me to find the guy that was supposed to go over the truck He was nowhere to be found.. .I never said that. I could move on the 30th because I had work that date and the days I requested were my days off So they obviously have NO communication skills ( listening orconveying).It was bad getting the truck and HORRIBLE dropping it off..The sales people are vey unprofessional the way they dispacth..I will move my stuff in my mini van or just throw my stuff away rather than use U-Haul..

Firstly, they didn't have a record of my moving supplies I ordered despite having an email confirmation so I had to purchase directly there and dispute the charge on my cc. Then upon returning the truck I was charged for 2 gallons of "EZ" fuel despite adding 3+ gallons right before dropping off the vehicle (I only drove a total of 14 miles).

My only complaint is when returning the vehicle the two men who where outside as people where returning vehicles didn't seem to be in too big a rush. However, the biggest problem I had is they both where smoking. So waiting to checkout after returning I had to stand there and deal with cigarette smoke.

I would have given a higher rating but there was a nationwide computer issue for U-Haul and that left a very long line of us waiting for at least an hour to pick up vehicles. However, once I reached the counter, there was only a brief delay and the equipment pick-up and drop off was seamless from that point. Staff was professional under frustrating circumstances.

This location is always crowded and chaotic on the weekends with very limited parking and long lines. The employees are very nice and helpful but just overwhelmed by the crowd. I would prefer to use the Northborough, MA location that is just 10 miles away, but their inventory is often limited.

My reserved and prepaid trailer was ready, but the left taillight did not work. At first they said they had no replacement and I was sent back to wait in line for a substitute trailer. Then they found that inventory said they had two tail lights. Finally 30 mins later they found the taillight and installed it. It took four people to find and install the taillight! Total time at the pick up location 1 hour (of my vacation time!).

I didn't have a good experience. I reserved a trunk, went to pick it up at this location, the employees were friendly. I picked up the van with less than a 1/4 gas I returned it with little more above 1/4. UHaul then charged me over $45, and when I called them, they stated that I returned the van with less gas than I was supposed to. So I asked them, How much gas was I supposed to return it, and they stated that I was supposed to fill it up. So Obviously I was upset, but they returned the money to my account. Please, get the record straight next time.

This site is always busy location with a good selection of various rentails. This site is currently remodeling and this adds to the din and bustle of this place. When the remodeling is complete the rental process will be back to normal. I have used this location many times over the years and have always found the staff friendly and the rental process effortless.

When we arrived at 8AM there was a line out the door. When we finally got the front they didn't have our 26' truck which we had reserved a month earlier. Instead Felix helped us get two 15' trucks instead. Felix saved the day and was extremely helpful. The return went smoothly as well. Hopefully the renovations help with the location's efficiency.

Weekends are busy and that is not a news. Especially Saturday mornings. With this in mind, you should ha e more staff at the front getting customers in and out. Staff were great , but the lines were inevitable with just 2 staff at front end.

Have the employees service the customers. I made a reservation for 8am and I arrived at 8am, only to see a line of 15 ppl in front of me. The other ppl also had reservations for the same time. If you know you have that many ppl don't you think you would plan accordingly? There were two employees checking ppl in and shouting names just to see if ppl didnt show up so they could cancel and charge them(heard them say it numerous times) I did not get up to the counter until 9am. Unacceptable!!!

1) I made a reservation and was quoted 79 cents per mile. When I was renting it, the owner told me it was 99 cents per mile on weekend. My reservation was for Saturday. He employee gave me wrong information. She could have honored that, but she didn't. I had a 9:00 reservation and arrived at 9:00 am. There were about 20 people in line in front of me. By the time I got my truck, it was 10 am. I did not expect it to take 1 hour to pick up the truck. That messed up my schedule.

I found it nearly impossible to return my trailer rental at this location. Could not reach anyone on the phone or in-person to return the trailer. I also attempted to mark the trailer returned online, but found out that you cannot do it on a computer and instead must be onsite with a smartphone. I wound up simply leaving the trailer on their premises and crossing my fingers as I had no other option which was disconcerting. Another concern: the initial pickup was difficult. Completely understaffed and one person outside to help at a massive U-Haul location with dozens of trucks and trailers. The person at the front desk acknowledged as much. Not sure what happened to this place-it used to be my first choice for rentals in past years but seems to have fallen apart lately.

Booked three separate times, absolute misery with the scheduling. Data Center was not on same page with service center. Why they book appointments, without parts is completely inept. When parts came, service was confirmed after two trips to the shop, the wire harness couldn't be installed because of limited time and knowledge of shift personell. This service center should strongly be evaluated in terms of management. The hitch is sound. I guess it was worth it at least to get a quality tow package. I went to another mechanic to complete job after three weeks of negotiating with the Worcester Store.

Takes way, way, way, way too long to rent something! Painful to come in after having called and arranged a rental of a small trailer and have to spend 15 mins waiting to be helped (and thank god I was first in line) because the understaffed store location workers were busy on phone calls. Had I arrived 10-15 mins later I likely would have spent an hr waiting in line. The location I rent from is so tight to get in and out of on a good day but they had a major part of their lot closed down due to construction. If I had a better rental option nearby I’d be there in a heartbeat. I dread having to go to a uhaul rental facility. Crazy slow rental process.

I utilized this rental location because when I showed up at my original rental location (some distance away) the (guaranteed) truck had not yet been returned by the previous renter. Personnel at both locations were sympathetic, compassionate, and very helpful. Because I would experience significant delays in loading and unloading I was given extra days and miles on my rental and a $50 credit to compensate for my inconvenience. SO helpful. It was a stressful time for us - my dad had just passed and we needed to clear out his place in short order. U-Haul personnel recognized our circumstances and stepped up to the plate. Thank you. Recommendation for U-Haul - charge a heftier fee if the renter doesn't return the equipment on time. At both locations multiple people who showed up for a rental experienced issues with rentals that had not been returned. So unfair.

I put in a credit card to make my reservation but when I picked it up I had to put in a different card. This was a reservation for a nonprofit org and we have a business card in the name of our treasurer. When I arrived the staff person said I couldn't use the one on file and had to have the person whose name was on the card present--he has cancer and can't be there which is why we made the reservation online. The staff person was unhelpful and wouldn't explain what I needed to do. He switched my reservation to an online pick up and when I asked him what I need to do he just ignored me and walked away. I showed him the screen on the webpage he told me to go to but he wouldn't help. He told me to get out of line and helped another customer. I struggled for a bit and then went back up to ask someone else, I explained the situation and she ended up being helpful. I even called in advance to explain the situation with the treasurer having cancer and that I would need to pick it up as his caregiver. It was frustrating and I eventually just had to pay with my personal card instead. I had the card info with me in case we needed to confirm and even offered to call the card holder so he could confirm this. It was frustrating.

I fail to see the need to have 2 methods of phone contact. Like most people I do not have a hard line at my residence my cell phone serves that purpose. I see very little need to pay for both a land line and cell phone when I am only home to sleep or eat. Likewise requiring an email address I get enough spam mail as it is. Since renting the truck and turning it in 4 hrs later I have gotten no fewer than 5 emails from uhaul. Your service is one that I will use when needed but that that does not mean I want to get email from your service after I'm done.

Truck was in really rough shape. 185,000 hard miles. I reserved moving pads, utility dolly, and furniture dollies 1 month in advance. When I picked up my truck they said they only had 6 of 12 moving pads, and 3 of 4 furniture dollies. They said I was lucky to get the utility dolly because this was the only truck that had one. What is the point of reserving specific equipment a month in advance if it's just going to be sheer luck of getting the equipment I've reserved?? Staff was otherwise very pleasant.

I would consider a warning before usimg the services of T and D Movers in Worcester, whom are unfortinately recommended by Moving Help website that I found when reserving a can online. The movers that were given the job did not show up on time first of all. The company did not call me with an ETA, even after they were over an hour late. I had to hound a representative for 20 min via text before I was phoned by a mover. I was denied an ETA ,"we'll get there when we get there", since they were working a job that they reported had run late. T & D did not respond to my outreach attempts later in the evening after I had waited more than 3 hours past reservation time for them to arrive. The uhaul van had to be returned without having been used to move.

The equipment and customer service from Michelle at the Worcester pickup was great. The only frustration came when the day before I was called by the regional office to pick up my reservation at a location 10 miles away. The person I spoke with on the phone was not very patient or helpful. However, once I got to the Worcester uhaul location, my service was great.

I waited 30 minutes standing at a line of customers waiting also to be assisted & pick-up their rental, watching how the attending manager had no regard for the customers waiting and continued to slow down the process as he stubbornly took his time to train a new employee that could not understand the training at the time and was making mistakes on the front desk computer, and as if it wasn't enough, attending manager or staff did nothing but make jokes with the new employee and other staff waiting around for him to give orders!! To top it off, instead of working with the line of customers that kept coming in, and maybe have the staff that was waiting around to be told what to do, answer the phones that were ringing off the hook, he decides to answer the phones and starts taking new reservations over the phone,while customers watched and waited, as he joked with the customer on the phone as well, of course!. Since no one was there to work that day, customers couldn't find a safe space to park as the company trucks were taking half the customers parking lot which is very limited as it is. It was the most unpleasant, unprofessional customer service I'd ever experienced from this company at this store!!! Management needs a refreshment course in customer etiquette, service and techniques!!!!

Make it easier to speak to the pickup location directly without having to constantly go through call center...our trailer location was initially 20 miles from where we were moving. Very stressful trying to find the Webster, MA location; no phone service on those back roads; trailer was brought to the Webster location from our original pickup location which made no sense; we ended up picking it up at Belmont st location the following day...overall the process before pickup was extremely stressful and I spoke to at least 8 people to get the situation resolved. Everything after pickup was fine.

First, I do want Say my experience truly was easy. Felix Sola the store manager was kind, courteous, friendly and extremely professional. Everything was in order and ready to go right away. When I returned the van a younger worker Yaritza also was excellent. She was efficient, friendly and again extremely professional. Thank them both please. The only recommendation and I would consider it minor is the return with same gas level as you receive it. I put way more in then I needed simply because I didn’t know how much to include. I wonder if you could take the Mile’s received and subtract it from miles returned and simply do the math. Example times the going rate or something to that effect. This has been my dilemma each time I’ve rented a truck. Thank you again. I’ll be sure to use this store again for all my relative needs.

• Plate light was out • Driver side marker was out • Location was overfilled with returned vehicles which were all blocking the return isle. I could not properly return my rental. Had to leave the trailer out in the customer area running the risk of getting stolen. Would recommend better tracking of returning time and better organization of vehicles. This location didn't rent me the trailer I reserved because it wasn't road-ready. The local traffic office sent me twenty miles out of my way to get this trailer. Very inconvenient. The vehicle was clean except for the glove compartment with either the last person used it or someone that works there left pot in the glove compartment I called corporate and they noted it but when I get to the rental place the guy says to me well pot is legal now as it is it legal to be in your glove compartment so my kids that are in the vehicle can get at it so he gave me $15 off my rental and blow it off like it was nothing I asked him do you think the news media would want to know that U-Haul Lee spot in their vehicles

The move went well and customer service was perfect. Equipment was right on point and served me and my help to what we needed. I put on 7 miles total (short) move and was told I needed to pay $16 in a gas fee, after I put in $3 to replace (a very fair amount) what I used for a 7 mile mileage usage. I refused, the only let down to a rather fine experience when all went well. I will rent again and recommend UHAUL to family and friends, BUT this gas fee is a major issue which I will alert family and friends about....

Hours are only convenient if you have 24 hr access. Which I was told numerous different things about that access... also paid on 5/26 as pymt was due..moved out 6/8.. no money back - complete rip off
