All of my dealings with this location have been tough as every time I use them all the hidden charges that you apply are misleading and inconvenient!! I don't have a problem paying what I should but tell me up front. First of all the payment program needs to be fixed because unlike all other businesses they can do a split payment between cash and debit. I had to leave the location and walk to a bank because of this. And when they started popping all the extra charges the pre-bill quoted at 69 $turned into 169,00 $. That might not be a problem to you but it is infuriating that you get a rude ten miles away from home and I was gonna have to leave and walk home without A truck (9 miles). So I had to strip the vehicle of insurance, switch equipment to get to 110 which is all I had for money but I had to move yesterday, no and, is, or buts. After I started to make a scene did the assistant manager help to give me a ten dollar discount. And please spend some money on your trucks to have mirrors that can be adjusted, what I had to go through to actually see to make a turn was impossible. Unless you got up from the seat while you're driving you couldn't see in the left or especially the passenger side you cannot make a safe turn. You gotta pray for your safe driving and good luck. All in all I was able to work everything out on my own but I'll certainly think twice before I use uhaul again, instead I will inquire more seriously into Home Depot or Penske etc in my next time off need unless I calm down before my next use, which will be in a couple of months. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment and hopefully improve your business outta active because this is not my only bad experience with uhaul and from this location. Truck was filthy, employees are the furthest thing from professional, heard many curse words from employees while in queue to rent a truck.ANDREW T.
Plastic cover under drivers dash fell off when using parking brake, drop of person outside demanded that I give him keys when I returned. Told me to leave and that I had to give him keys. He then walked over to me aggressively when I told him that I had questions before dropping off the vehicle. This individual then followed me into the store and started arguing with me in front of the customers and other staff. It was the rudest and most threatening encounter I have ever had at a business. This individual should have been terminated on the spot. I am sure the encounter is on video, as there are multiple cameras around the building. Then, after being threatened by an employee I had to pay for the service I received. I will never, and would never recommend this company again if this is how customers are treated and this is the standard training for employees in a service related business. Better information on after hours return process. It was supposed to be on contract, but wasn't, and directions by key return box should say â€œScan QR code and complete all questions prior to putting vehicle keys in boxâ€. I will say that overall, staff are very friendly and helpful.Peter D.

Add more customer parking, I had to park next door at a local business because the customer parking lot was occupied plus extra vehicles with no-where to park next to a very busy roadAbby B.
When I picked up the truck there was less gas in it then was on contract the guy irvan hernandes who helped me came out I showed him that the gas was off he said oh circled the paper contract I had at 5/8 tank and said he would update on computer when I received email of contract it still showed full.... I've emailed a couple times to see and MAKE SURE THIS IS FIXED AND I DONT GET CHARGED . SECOND, the contract showed the vehicle with with 19036 miles when it had 19136. I again noticed after I left and called and I was told the customer before didn't adjust correct with the drop off. Again contract reads wrong miles of 19036. I've returned the truck and put the proper information in and again called , emailed abs tried to get in touch with the store and no answer yet. During the week of May 24, 2021 I rented a utility trailer and then another day an 8ft pickup. On both days when I returned the equipment I was told an email with the final cost would be sent to me. However this email was not sent for either rental. When I reserved the equipment I did receive the initial emails so u-haul does have my correct email address online.ANDREW K.

-Line to check in took 45 minutes for a simple 10 mile move. -two workers were outside talking to one another without helping the line or customers and sitting around -drop-off was awful as there was no where to pull in safely -no auto key box for truck pickups using the app(see Leominster and Marlboro for true 24/7 truck shares) -truck for our pickup was parked across the street in a completely different building (made no sense when several dozens were available in the immediate lot) -will never use this location again. Have used Leominster and marlboro 9 times in last year and have never had these issues and check in and check out has taken ten minutes or less. The MOST INCONVENIENT thing about this storage facility is NO ELEVATOR in the entire building! My unit is on the second floor, so everything had to be carried up stairs. Which, of course, means it will all have to be cartied back down stairs when it's moved out. Trucks check engine light was on, felt like transmission issues. Waited to speak with customer service for over 30mins to be transferred to another person and wait another 26 mins to then be transferred back to another where after another 15 mins i hung up. Using the app to drop off the truck and keys didnt work. Kept loading and loading and after yet again another 20mins i left. I will never use uhaul or recommend uhaul again. If anyone ask about uhaul i will go out of my way to tell them my experience and probably exaggerate the story a bit. This was a scary and frustrating experience i had while with my 2 year old son, limited funds, and the anxiety of if i dont get this truck back on time or being blamed for the engine light being charged money i do not have. I had reserved a 26' box truck from my local U-Haul dealer near Holliston, MA in Ashland. 1 - I had to travel 45 minutes and about 40 miles round trip out of my way. 2 - I was charged for those miles 3 - When I got on the highway the truck would develop a vicious vibration at the speed limit. 4 - It took over an hour to speak with a representative just to find out I would either need to wait for a repair person (could be a day or two) to insect the truck or exchange it at the location 45 minutes away. 5 - When I got to the location, the keys were unavailable for the replacement truck. 6 - The choice now became to take a smaller truck or chance the 300 mile trip with the current one in disrepair. We went with the smaller one. FYI... too small. 7 - Because of the lost time, we lost some of our help loading the truck. Bottom line. We as the buyer jumped through hoops to make the rental happen. Failure #1 U-Haul corporate could not communicate with the branch nor connect us to the branch. Failure #2 As the customer, I could not communicate with the branch. Failure #3 The U-Haul website hides the fine print as to the availability of the rental truck being at the chosen location or the cost to that would be incurred to go out of the customers way to pick it up. It was great until I went back to my unit to find the key had been tampered with and the door had apparently been altered so that I couldn't lock it once I opened it. I needed up leaving for that reason.Rivka L. | Expérience générale
The Belmont Street, Worcester site has consistently refused to serve me. I am disabled and walk with a cane, and I had to rely on my husband to reserve a large unit for our temporary storage purposes. When we visited this week to close out the unit, we were refused an inspection of the unit and a receipt for the closeout even though the home said we could have these, and even though we were paid up. There were no other customers in the store or on site when we were there, and there were two employees on the clock and available who were not busy - one was simply organizing a stack of boxes. But both refused - repeatedly - to walk across the street to our unit with us to inspect the unit so that we could remove our lock without worry of unauthorized use. We also were refused a receipt for closeout, and told we had to return in 4 hours when the storage facility clerk would be in. This site was great on customer service for years, but this year, the service under new management has been extremely poor. I have observed that customers who complain or speak up at the site are yelled at and refused service by the clerks. There is no excuse.Johanna L. | Expérience générale
