Please repair driver side visor clip (vehicle was give to me with a broken driver side visor clip), and replace the rear tires. The passenger rear tire had pretty bad sidewalk bubbling when we picked up. Got charged $165 for the drop off fee instead of initial $92. Tried to contest charge with u haul as no one told me about it and I didn't agree to this, u haul said someone would call me and they never did, just charged my card.Vincent P.

Not much. The people there are great. Just not a good location. Only one way in or out on a busy street. Not a lot of room in the lot. As for the trailer I rented, the hydraulic brakes did not work properly. Most likely nobody had informed the employees of this. Still this location is the only one I like to do business with.Brian S.

The tires on our trailer were in bad shape we noticed a large tear in one of the tires on the first night of our trip. We also had no brake lights or turn signals after the first 4 hours of driving. We got everything fixed the next morning at a uhaul store in SD after 4 hours of repairsClinton D.
Truck was not cleaned after the previous rental. When I got the truck it had blankets and small trash all over. I folded the blankets and sweep the trash before returning the truck.Richard R.

The team at this location was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them. However, my experience overall with U-Haul was absolutely terrible and I will never use U-Haul again. The only thing that made it right was this little local team. But only after significant numbers of phone calls and visits to multiple locations to resolve the issue.nicole S.

I was very surprised by my final bill as it was 2x what I was expecting. I would suggest being transparent at the beginning about the cost structure. No one bothered to explain the mileage surcharge to me even though I provided a very accurate mileage estimate at the outset.Christopher J.

Went to original location and was told my reservation was not available. No prior communication. Had help already set up and was severely impacted. Had to scramble to get this Arvada location as alternative. Arvada location was good. 53rd and Kipling was horribleJOHN D.

You know everything would have been fine even the extension of the U-Haul trucks that I needed to obtain and was able to however, they are scam artists they are rip off artists and the twin brothers in there will do everything they can to make an extra buck! Please please pay attention to the amount of gas that is actually in the tank! The guy checking me out with my U-Haul truck that was being returned tried to charge me for three quarters of a tank said that I didn't have evidence that there was only a quarter tank in there in fact I did! And thank God I did because without it I was going to be charged an additional $80 plus $30 for the service fee of not bringing it back with enough gas at 675 a gallon! I brought it back with a quarter tank. So the next customer who rents this truck will be charged for 3/4 of a tank and that's not what's in it unless they are paying attention as I pointed this out to my customer service rep at U-Haul and he said that he would take care of it I said no no it needed to be taken care of right then, he assured me that it was taken care of the in the system which in fact I know it wasn't because I right then ask for another printout final copy final receipt. Lo and behold that receipt showed 3/4 of a tank. These people are pocketing mass money on gas amounts when people don't know to take a picture they just verify the gas whatever in a text message that is sent to him on a survey which is b*******!! Consumers beware I will not be recommending this facility and I will be going the distance with this complaint. Another complaint I do have is when I asked about the rental tax I was to pay $4,17 for the first day. Which I was charged and did pay however the total amount for 3 days was $32. When I asked how the hell that happened and why it was $32 for 3 days and only for 17 for one he said that was something that U-Haul and the state had and I would have to take it up with the state or take it up with the direct U-Haul office. Which is not fact in fact, when I called corporate office they had no clue what I was talking about when it came to rental tax. So as a consumer I'm sure you can figure out where I'm going with this, and as a marketer don't bother and as a manager get your s*** together and pay attention to your store, the twins that work in there are scam artists ripoff artists and they're b******* to us that are struggling trying to make a dollar every day just to survive and renting a truck was every penny I had and then to be ripped off ?never again!!! Not by this store anyway and neither will anybody I know or reading this feedbackMonique C.
We've rented here twice in the last week and both experiences were not good. The first time we had terrible customer service the second time we were overcharged. Only went back the second time out of desperation but will NEVER use U-Haul again!jarry P.

The vehicle inspection app did not work so we could not note damages on vehicle. The gas tank was at 1/4 full per gage but told that they didn't have 1/4 available on their app, only goes by 8ths so they had it at 3/8ths but not to worry about it, just drop it off with same amount of fuel. We did just that but got charged $47 for gas tank not at 3/8ths!!! What a rip off! There are no 8ths markings on fuel gage and it was armt 1/4 and thats what we put back into it. The whole rental process was a total pain!! Spent hours on the phone several days to just clarify where and when to pick truck up and 40mins just to check it in when done. Will never use U-haul again for a one-way trip. Total nightmare!!Martha D.
I dealt with Donovan who is supposedly a manager I have never been so disrespected and treated so badly he acted like I was invisible he charged my card twice I showed him on my phone that my card was charged twice he called me a liar because I had to transfer my money he was the rudest most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with in my whole life I will not recommend this location to anyone I own my own business right there in Arvada I will never recommend this business I am reporting him to the corporate managers above him!!! He came out to my car after I waited 11 or 12 minutes for him to come out and help me load the boxes and he threw one of the dollies into the back of my car and ripped my seats scratched my seats all up I drive a luxury Mercedes I told him my son is coming to lift it up into my vehicle and he threw it back down and said you do it yourself walked away mumbling under his breath I've never ever ever experience someone treating a customer that pays their bills that way never in my life that gentleman doesn't even deserve to have a job or to be working in a place with the public he has no right to work in a place with public people that pay his bills the way that he treated me and other customers behind me was horrific !!! As far as I'm concerned he should lose his job he doesn't even deserve to be around the public he is rude he's disrespectful he's unprofessional he's got a cocky smart ass attitude like he didn't even wanna be there working yesterday I will never go back into that establishment again and I am going to do a review with the Better Business Bureau you're not gonna stop hearing from me!! In addition he tried to play a prank on me and charge my card for me renting a trailer today the very next day after I rented the dollies I got like a bogus email saying that I rented a trailer and then I own a truck Toyota Corolla I am completely in awe completely and all he's trying to get a rise out of me and you know what it worked he got a rise out of me but now I'm gonna go to the top of the top of the top of the ladder and I am going to make sure that that gentleman does not have a job he doesn't even deserve to get a paycheck from U-Haul as far as I'm concerned!!! DONOVAN YOU SHOULD FIND A JOB THAT YOU ARE HAPPY DOING!!! YOU LOOK AND ACT LIKE YOU ARE A MISERABLE SOUL!! My goodness!! We won't give uhaul our business any longer and neither will our businesses that are in the same vicinity as this location thumbs down horrible service Better Business Bureau is being called!!! This location was fantastic. However, I had actually booked and gotten a confirmation for my truck pickup at Arctic Fox, a few miles away. When I arrived at Arctic Fox on time and tried to check in for my truck, the system said that I was at the wrong location. I called the Uhaul service number and they also told me I was at the wrong location. However, the ONLY confirmation email that I received (and I looked back to see if I missed something) said I was confirmed at Arctic Fox. No one ever reached out or emailed me to tell me to go to the Wadsworth location. Not only did it set me behind schedule, but it also added miles to my route that I didn't expect. With the price per mile, that makes a difference. A very stressful start to a stressful moving day.Julianne J.

The license on the trailer that I rented was from Tennessee and had expired in March 2022. You might want to have someone look at the expiration dates on the licenses for your rentals as part of their daily checklist when rentals come in from other locations.JOSEPH T.

While unloading the trailer, I stepped on a rusty nail tack in the parking lot that pierced my shoe and into my heel. I had to immediately go to an urgent care and get a tetanus shot and have my wound treated. Please make sure this location cleans it's parking lot areas so this does not happen again to anybody else.Aidan O.

Guaranteed delivery was June 19, box never arrived. I was told it would be there July 1, again it was never delivered. I had a truck reserved and trailer to pull the U box, had to cancel both reservations. No one at U haul could explain what happened. I was then told it would be delivered July 6th, I went to the Arvada location on July 5th to rent a truck/trailer for hauling the U box. I was told by the staff at U Haul, it was not on their scheduled to be delivered on 7/6! and on July 6, sure enough U box did not get there. They gave me a new date of July 9. The staff at U Haul Arvada location called the scheduling department while I was there. On July 8th I stopped at the U Haul in Arvada to reserve a truck/trailer to haul the U Box, again, I was told, the U box is not scheduled to be delivered on 7/9. At this point it was unbelievable! I had been living out of one suitcase waiting for my stuff. I had called customer service many times, given different dates. Again I called customer service, they then told me it would be delivered to my storage locker for a charge of $199,99 on Tuesday 7/12. On Saturday morning, July 9th, Donovan Kelly the manager at the Arvada location called me to tell me the U Box arrived there at the Arvada U Haul location. Donovan had no trucks or trailers available to (rent/haul) my U box for Sat 7/9 or Sun 7/10. (I did go in to make arrangement on Friday). The communication is terrible. On Sunday 7/10 I stopped in at the Arvada location again to make arrangements to empty my U Box. I requested that it be available for me to access on Monday 7/11. I get there Monday, U Box is still in the warehouse. I was told to come back in an hour. Which I did and finally could empty the U Box.Rae F.

I had my hitch done here, big mistake. First off your appt time isnt an appt, it's a first come first service time. So 4 other people will be booked at 7am with you so you better be hella early and be standing at the door or you'll be third in line even though it's your 7am appt. 藍藍 what a joke. Regardless if they screwed up your install Secondly they broke my taillight getting the wiring in. Third off they didnt re attach my muffler so it was dangling for 60 or more miles before I noticed â€œ hopefully not causing any stressing elsewhere 路â€â™‚ï¸. Then when I finally go to use the hitch 40 miles down the road I check it w the trailer on it and it's F-Ing loose. Even after I got the trailer off you could wiggle it with one arm. Idk about you but non of this sounds like a quality experience let alone even a good experience. I'll not be returning to this location.garrett S.

The people who work at this location are a bit unfriendly. I would have expected a bit more customer service and just general kindness, especially for a city like Arvada. Honestly, this was my worst contact point within the process. That being said, everything was done eventually. While it isn't my first or even second choice I would use this location again if I absolutely had to.Ariel W.
