The male almost bald man was making me feel uncomfortable in the sense that he was demanding , very pushy with obtaining my information and bossy , when i walk in a U Haul i loookinh for help ( a vehicle) i want to feel like they are there to help which wasnt the case for this location

You would think that asking for a paper receipt was asking for their first born child to be sacrificed. What a joke of a process to get something so simple. Note: the only reason we even asked for one was our check-out experience at the Indio office was so ridiculously horrible that we did not trust these guys one iota and we wanted confirmation of the return of all items and the condition upon receipt.

I would like to commend the salesperson Raymond Arias Jr. who processed my paper work. He was polite, kind, and efficient. Thank you Raymond for making my visit to U-Haul a pleasant one. You were so efficient in your presentation; it enable me to be in- and- out of the building within minutes , for both rental and return of the vehicle. Great job. Happy customer ??

Personnel at the drop off location were not helpful. They had me wait for no reason because I had a truck that was not supposed to be used for one way rental. The lady said they can’t take the truck and that, I had to return it to Palm Desert. This is ridiculous!! It’s the reason we got a one-way rental truck so we don’t have drive another 2 hours to return the truck and drive back another 2 hours. The lady didn’t seem to care and gave me a sense that it wasn’t her problem. She left me hanging and attended another customer that made me wait even longer. So, I called the Palm Desert store to get some guidance on how to solve this issue and I placed her on hold so the attendants from the two stores can talk. While waiting, another attendant became available hoping she can help me but left the counter. When she came back and when I asked her to talk to the attendant on the other line, she said, everything is ok now. No need to talk to the attendant from Palm Desert. SO, I WASTED TIME WAITING FOR NOTHING!! I wasn’t given a receipt and very dismissive.

Overall customer service was average, from representatives behind the desk to the general manager. The last couple of times I used online reservations, they have not been a good experience. I waited until 3pm to pick up a 15’ truck but was told upon arrival that there wasn’t any 15’ available. The only solution the manager offered was not to use online service. To walk in to a store was the best way. I actually had walked into the store the previous day, but it was busy and no one was in the store to assist me so I left.

I was charged for fuel on a truck that was 3/4 full upon receiving it. I have a pic of the fuel gauge at time of rental. There is no way to attach the pic. I will return to remtsl location tomorrow for refund. The location lacks professionalism!!!

Clean, efficient, courteous and competent. These people are the best at making the chore of moving start off on the "right foot". The thought of "moving" makes me unpleasant but the professional staff made my experience start off in a correct frame of mind. In simple terms it was a very pleasant experience. Location great service. Could not self-pickup and the phone rep was horrible. Said I had An aged, paid ticket that she cleared but her service needs major training. Said my father might have had a ticket from my last rental. WOW! Try I see an old record on our system that needs removal, sorry for the delay and I’ll be happy to fix that for you ASAP.

I was told by the manager that I could not park my car on their property when I used their truck for moving. I was told to park on the street. So I went rented the truck and left their lot to find parking for my car. Street parking in that area is for only for 2 hours, then you get ticketed. I then tried residential parking. It was on Friday at 9 am and all street were signed street sweeping Friday 8 am to 1 pm. I went back to Uhaul and explained the situation to the manager. He told me I could park in the corner but next time use an uber. I don't know how that is possible, but that comment ruined my day. Well, you asked, and that is my story.

My truck was not ready when we arrived. I ordered a mattress cover, and we never got that. After I dropped off the truck, I was yelled at by an employee for not returning the truck to this location, when my online reservation was made to pickup in Bellflower and returned to Pasadena. I filed a complaint with customer service, and I’m awaiting a follow-up.

The representative that billed my credit card had no regard for how her actions negatively affected me as a customer. The representative had no empathy and is a poor representation of U-Haul. The representative could benefit from additional training and coaching to prevent erroneous credit card bill.

I am being charged for driving the vehicle over 300 miles, but that is not true. I had the vehicle in my possession for about 2 hours, so 300 miles would not even be possible. I used the vehicle for only about 10 or less miles. I am being way over charged. How can we resolve this issue.

person that gave me trailer made feel like a thief like was going too steal the trailer ask me for my passport saying it was protocol when i had my driver license and credit card . so i didnt have my passport so showed him my registration from my truck then when i brought trailer back next day he was like O u bought it back. in a sarcastic way like if i was not coming back

I loved the easy and quick access to rent the truck was on the app. Unfortunately, the woman worker there totally changed my view on your service there. She looked like she didnt not want to be there st all and had an attitude. I followed all instructions given by the app and she informed that it was incorrect. When explaining that's what the app instructed she then questioned me who advised me to park and put the keys. When I told her the app she said it was wrong . I feel your staff should be fully knowledgeable about the process for the app before giving attitude and other directions. Other than that, i loved the convenience of the app and everything else.

Customer service was poor and the lack of staff was frustrating. It took me 1.5 hours to rent a trailer that I had reserved. On top of that it was the wrong trailer. I ordered one that was enclosed and not opened. The person said if that was the one I was Ted we would have to start the process over.

My credit card was charged twice; the actual amount on the day and the deposit amount 3 days later. The deposit hold should have been released once the actual charge was placed in my card.

The employee had many problems with the computer. It took him 4 times to get my contract interned. Meanwhile the on duty manager only gave him verbal advice to correct the situation. If the manager would have physically assisted him I would not have lost over 1 hour to get out of there. Otherwise the employee was very polite and pleasant.

Fill up your trucks and not rent them out on empty. Was offered a $20 credit but fuel was not marked correctly at time of pick up. after inspection the attendant stated she would correct in system but failed to do so. All resulting in an extra charge and no credit.
