I waited 15 minutes inside the store and didn’t even see an employee. I had to go out on the lot and look around to finally locate an employee. There were so many trucks at this location there was not enough room to park any more and the rental return lane was inaccessible. So I don’t understand why I was switched to this drop off location when I chose one closer.

Uhaul was an absolute nightmare to deal with. They didn't have the truck at the location I reserved a month in advance. The day before my reservation they changed the pick up date to the day after I needed the truck.

I had to wait in line for 2 hours. Then my reservation was xo. They put it back it was 350 dollars more. Then they charged me for a extra day. Fort Bragg was rude when i returned the truck she said she wasnt fixing nothing go to pa where you rented from and walked away. After 3 hours of holding they only credited me 202 dollars so im out of 140 dollars for extra days. 2 days extra for rental and auto tow

rented a motorcycle trailer. when I pick it up the right side light did not work. the associate told me it was ok after he hooked it up. got home and did not work. no time to go and return it and find another. Had to drive to N.C. with no r. light.

My only complaint was that I will be U-Haul premises at 730 that morning. Well I reserved the van for 24 hours it should no been required to back 730 the next day what was Sunday morning. But this was scheduled to at 9am anyway. So why was it so urgent to have the vehicle back 2 hours before the store was scheduled to open.

Please have a district manager reach out to me and I will explain in detail exactly what happened. They recorded the wrong mileage when I took the truck out. Thank God I took a picture which was time stamped with GPS at the location as I was taking the truck out of the speedometer. I brought this up with Derrick who accused me of lying and started fighting with me. The general manager credited back the miles but this was a horrible experience. I would like someone from senior management to reach out to me.

The workers at this location are not very friendly, there seems to be only one person that seems to know what he is doing and he does not speak very good english. The truck smelled like cigarettes and the rubber framing on the driver side panel came off as soon as I got out of the truck at my destination. The hand truck and the blankets that are at the back of the truck are in the way of loading things so it's really like I got a 15' truck instead of a 17' because I lost about 2' due to that stuff being there. It should be tied down at the front of the truck in the cubby area or asked prior to getting the truck if you need. Also there needs to be more workers at the end of the month since that is the busiest time.

I’ve rented from this location several times and it has always been a simple, smooth process. You can’t beat the prices; when I bought from Home Depot and was going to rent a truck to get my items home they wanted 3 times the price for several hours compared to what U-Haul charged for up to a whole day!!!

Check vehicles and trailers before renting them back out. Make sure staff is trained and knowledgeable. Waited in line for over an hour then once we found the trailer the lights were not completely working when the employee blamed my truck for the lights not working only to find out the wiring in the trailer was not connected. Absolutely horrible service.

Ensure all trailer lights operate. Tag lights were shorted together and set my car on fire. And you also charged me for the day lost due to your faulty equipment. You will be hearing from me again in regards to compensation for damages incurred.

The parking area is much too small to handle the increased # of vehicles parked at this location. I had great difficulty returning my trailer, having to pull across oncoming traffic lanes to back in to the lot. This situation can be very dangerous.

I reserved a truck and trailer online. When I arrived they told me I had to go to a second location to pick up the trailer. I also had to spend more money than I was quoted. I asked if I could just return the trailer to the same place I was taking the truck (since my car was parked there) and they told me no. Wasted a lot of my time in the morning and didn't do much to help me. The afternoon guys were much more helpful.

I went in person to make a reservation. When I picked up the vehicle, the person told me it was only for 8 hours. I told him that's not what I wanted and the clerk told me that he would change it and I had to have it back by the pickup time. That was ok. I return the truck today and a different clerk is talking the 8 hours again and is trying to overcharge me. Communication is so horrible with UHaul. Stuff is never what it seems or as its present.

Would not honor reservation. Did help make other choice but did not note account about free days promised to off set cost due to them not honoring reservation. It ended up costing extra days fees and late fees. They did not put the miles down I said it would so it cost me extra miles. Like u-haul but this trip was bad due to them not wanting to honor reservation.

The van was a different model than my previous two rentals. The driver's seat was uncomfortable, and not adjustable. The fuel mpg was noticebly lower than the previous rentals, especially on my return trip in the EMPTY van. Also, the step-down fender in the rear is too-flexible, so renters should be careful when stepping on it. Renters should also be warned not to step on it as well. I will return to rent from this location in the future.

Returning my truck was very problematic. The UHaul Equipment Contract clearly lists the "Drop Off Address" (800 Chester Pike Prospect Park, PA 19076 610-461-8818) However, that address is a McDonalds. There is not a UHaul near that address. Nor was I able to reach anyone at the number listed. After an exceptionally long wait on hold with UHaul's main 800 number, I told the operator I would be bringing the truck back to a location a few miles away, that was back in the direction of home for me, and that I hoped there would not be any issues resulting from that. I also hope there were no additional charges to my card based on miles or gas that was wasted trying to find a location that did not exist. Despite the additional driving around, I believe the gas was still correct and I was hopefully no more than 10-20 miles over the alleged distance between the two locations. I am taking the time to write this to ensure the existence of that location is corrected in the system and no one else has to endure the frustration I did.

S l Stan in line over an HR to get my rental and counter person slow is can be and answers phone tells customers hold on 5 mins and they keep calling back they been holding on 30 mins.. shame on you multi million dollars company uhaul.and l find out that trailer l rental was in town only. I could not return where l move in to.l called customer service transfer to manager and answer machine answers. This is a rediculous embarrassing poorly running business . Shame on you. Second bad experience in a month. I was improperly charged extra for fuel last time. This time I dropped off the truck a day before the contract due date at 9:15 am, but received a receipt saying it was checked in at 2:29 pm and including an extra one day charge. I’ve now been on hold for about 30 minutes trying to resolve it.

I have rented various equipment from Uhaul for years and this was by far the worst rental equipment ever rented. The truck had so much play in the steering that it was difficult to keep in a lane on the road. The hood did not have a working primary latch so it bounced during the trip. This equipment should not have been in service. Staff was friendly both when I picked up equipment and when I returned it. I was happy that I only had to drive this piece of junk 40 miles!
